• Getting a user country name from originating IP address with Ruby on Rails

  I want to extract a user country name from visitors' IP addresses. I could get the IP address with remote_ip. But what could be the easiest way to get the country name? It doesn't have to be super accurate. Any ruby library (gem or plugin) to do this? I want an simple and easy solution for this.

• jQuery Prototype conflict, alternative solutions

  I have a problem as I'm conditionally including the Prototype-based Lightbox script for IE6 as it works better than the jQuery plugin. Of course the two libraries conflict but the official solution is not really feasible for me as i would have to replace tons of $ with the alternative no-conflict syntax. Is there any other solution for me, keeping in mind that in my case it would be easier to have Prototype work nicely with jQuery than the other way around?

  I've just started to work with DoubleClick Studio. I've successfully created a Flash expanding ad with CS4 that is mostly scripted and uses the Document class option. Now for some reason the back end of DoubleClick Studio thinks I've imported the Enabler component twice. I've checked my files numerous of times but can't find the root cause. It's called 'function list' created by Jens Lorenz. this feature will list all of declared function in a PHP files.   I've written a custom plugin for CKEditor--successful on all fronts, save one currently: I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to customize the image on the button in the toolbar of the editor. As I'm a new user, you'll have to click through to see attached image; the highlighted square in the top left should have a pretty picture (like most of the other toolbar items). I can increase the duration to make it last longer, however this looks strange.
