I want to log the URLs of all the popup attempts in my FireFox browser running on Windows.
Is there a way to do this? Either somehow externally, or internally with an extension?

I made a small webpage with a scrollable div. When I load it in a browser, it works fine. But when I load it in a webview inside Android, it doesn't let me scroll the div. Is there a workaround for this or do I have to use a different design? I am talking about websites like this.
I am using Silverlight 3.0 Unit Testing, version Silverlight Toolkit November 2009.
Apart from unit tests, it allows to do UI interaction tests, typically using AutomationPeer subclasses (eg ButtonAutomationPeer to interact with a Button).
Are there AutomationPeer classes to test the interaction with the following:
OpenFileDialog
SaveFileDialog
MessageBox
In unit tests it would be possible to stub these, but for integration and browser testing it would be great to have this testable.
I have a View that outputs a page. Under Basic Settings I set a "title". When I load the page, I see that title as the page title (at top of the browser) - all good.
How can I print this value out in the "Display output" .tpl file? The $title variable doesn't seem to hold any value here. Do I need to use a preprocess function?
Thanks
As anybody tried using Paypal's IPN on a port other than 80?
I'm trying to specify a URL like http://domain.com:8080/url/to/ipn.php but the IPN request isn't getting through.
If I hit the URL directly from my browser it works fine.
I'm hoping that there's a relatively simple way to rotate a webpage a little bit, 30 degrees or so, while still leaving it fully functional and usable.
I completely control the page, and can modify it to make this easier if needed. I'd rather not re-write the whole thing in SVG, though, but perhaps javascript and canvas will work?
Is there a way using CSS, Javascript, or some other cross browser method that would allow me to accomplish this?
Hi
I have a horizontal scrolling site that uses jquery to reverse the mouse axis on the scroll wheel on the mouse. This works fine on every browser apart from safari. The address of the page with the scrolling is here: http://www.jamesbells.com/index.php?page=alias
Can anyone help - all I need is for the mouse wheel to scroll left and right when moved up and down.
Cheers
Jon
I have a library I am creating based on some WSDL/XSD definitions. I am having a problem having the compiled classes added in the eclipse project. I can see that with a 'mvn compile' that the .class files are generated, as well as the .java files. The problem is that even though the .class files are generated, eclipse is still showing an error on the import statement "import com.whatever.SomeService_Service" that was generated by one of the plugins. I tried forcing the source to go into the project/src/main/java directory, but when the project is cleaned, it deletes files that I have created. Has anyone run into this before/found a way to get it to recognize that the class files are there? Thanks.
Hi, I'm creating a web-browser type app (using a web view object) that needs to be able to connect to the internet via a proxy. Server, port, username and password can all be hardcoded into the app but unfortunately I have no idea how to customise the proxy settings of a web view without changing the system wide proxy settings.
If you know how to do this please provide some example code, thanks a lot!
(Also, if it changes anything - I'm developing for mac, not iPhone)
Hey all,
I was wondering if there is some variable that will return what $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'] returns when I call PHP like this: ./somescript
If not, how do people get around this case? I'm looking to be able to call the same script (a template compiler) in both the web browser and the terminal.
Thanks!

The bit.ly info API returns URLs for thumbnail images. When I attempt to access these images, I receive an access denied error. How do you access the thumbnail images generated by bit.ly?
EDIT:
I am testing the image URL by taking the URL provided by the info API and using the browser to access. Bit.ly returns an Access Denied error code. Do I need to somehow provide the login and apikey?
I have a blackberry app that I am trying to deploy OTA (over the air).
I have set the MIME type on my server to be:
cod application/vnd.rim.cod
jad text/vnd.sun.j2me.app-descriptor
jar application/java-archive
When I access the JAD file on my web-server through the BlackBerry Browser, I get the message
Unsupported Media Type
and then a prompt to download the JAD. How can I resolve this?

When using the xhtml1-transitional.dtd doctype, collecting a credit card number with the following HTML
<input type="text" id="cardNumber" name="cardNumber" autocomplete='off'/>
will flag a warning on the W3C validator:
there is no attribute "autocomplete".
Is there a W3C / standards way to disable browser auto-complete on sensitive fields in a form?
I'd like to implement a rolling graph showing new users by day over the last 7 days using Seer.
I've got Seer installed:
http://www.idolhands.com/ruby-on-rails/gems-plugins-and-engines/graphing-for-ruby-on-rails-with-seer
I'm struggling to get my brain around how to implement.
I've got an array of the Users I want to plot:
@users = User.all( :conditions = {:created_at = 7.days.ago..Time.zone.now})
Can't see the right way to implement the :data_method to roll them up by created_at date.
Anyone done this or similar with Seer?
Anyone smarter than me able to explain this after looking at the Seer sample page (linked above)?
Hi,
We have a created a subsite to the SharePoint 2010 Mysite (used blank site) called "home". This site uses the mysite.master master page. The problem is the top link (navigation) bar from MySite is not showing up on the subsite... Any ideas?
If I open the home site in Share Point Designer - the navigation bar does show up... But not in the browser...
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Everyone,

I'm using tortoiseSVN to checkout the log4j v1.2 source from - http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/logging/log4j/trunk
But i keep getting this error:
Error: OPTIONS of '': Could not
Error: resolve hostname `svn.apache.org': No such host is known.
The funny thing is that i can access 'svn.apache.org' from my browser but if i try to ping it from the command prompt, it says host not found.
Does any body else face this problem? Is there any other way to get the source for log4j v1.2?
My website renders well on the iPhone/Safari browser, with one exception: My text input fields have a weird rounded style which doesn't look good at all with the rest of my website.
Is there a way to instruct Safari (via CSS or metadata) not to round the input fields and render them rectangular as intended?
Hey guys, I'm solving one task and I need to create a piece of CSS what would apply only in Safari, NOT the other WebKit browser (mustn't apply in Chrome, f.e.). Please, could anyone toss in some ideas?
Hi,
I would like to know how I would go about altering the HTML that is displayed by my VB.net application using GeckoFX. What I would like to do restrict certain words/names/attributes from showing in the browser.
Any info/links would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I have a third party component in my page that does a lot of DOM manipulation to adjust itself each time the browser window is resized.
Unfortunately I have little control of what it does internally and I have optimized everything else (such as callbacks and event handlers) as much as I can. I can't take the component off the flow by setting display:none because it fails measuring itself if I do so.
In general, does setting visibility of the container to invisible during the resize help improve DOM rendering performance?
Quick question: what is the (full) valid / allowed charset for id and class CSS identifiers?
Is there a regular expression that I can use to validate against? Is it browser agnostic?
Hi,
I am writing my first wxWidgets application which aims to be cross-platform. The program uses dll file for plugins and in Windows, reads dll resource part for information regarding plugin name, author name etc.
I have never used Unix or MacOS (little Linux though) and am wondering whether compiling binary for these other OSes will require changes to the code written for Windows. For instance, is there a DLL equivalent in Unix and MacOS? Are there any provisions of compiling resource strings and files into a such files?
Thanks,
Sanjeev
