    I'm a big fan of JGraphT, a Java library for graphs. Could anyone recommend a similar Java library for trees? Preferrably FOSS. What I need is a good API, preferrably typesafe with generics which allows modelling different kinds of trees (with some user data attached to verticies/edges) and run different algorithms and operations on these trees. For instance, traverse or balance. At the moment I'm not interested in visualization of trees.

    I'm tossing around a few ideas for travel search engines and I'm wondering how these sites get their source data. Do they scrape all the content from airline homepages? This seems like an enormous job given the number of airlines etc out there. Is there some API or web service standard that every airline conforms too? Am I going to have to negotiate access to the data APIs for every airline I wish to index?

    Hi! There is an email service ExactTarget with web service API. There are samples (in php though) for sending email to whole list instantly, or to single subscriber by triggered action. It's pretty hard to get in it's documentation, and I couldn't find explanation how to send email to a single subscriber instantly without having some triggering actions.     Hi all, Consider this dot language code: digraph graphname { subgraph clusterA { node [shape=plaintext,style=filled]; 1 -> 2 [arrowhead=normal,arrowtail=dot]; 2 -> 3 -> X2 -> 5; 6; 7; label = "A"; color=blue } } In the above example, only the 1 -> 2 connection will have the arrowhead=normal,arrowtail=dot style applied; all the other arrows will be of the "default" style. My question is - how do I set the arrow style (for the entire subgraph - or for the entire graph), without having to copy paste "[arrowhead=normal,arrowtail=dot];" next to each edge connection?     Hi all, I'm studying how to use caching in Heroku for my Rails app. HTTP cache powered by Varnish is superb and I'll use it in all pages without user info but I also want to use a kind of ActiveRecord caching with Memcached using "high livel" plugins such as cache_fu or cache-money...but it seems that Heroku supports only the memcached gem (http://docs.heroku.com/memcache) and it's a very low level Memcachad API... Do you have any other solutions? Thx.

    I correctly inserted a javascript file into the wordPress admin with : wp_enqueue_script() I know that the script is loading. I tested it with an alert(). I then found that I am unable to access the DOM. When I tried : document.getElementsByTagName('body')[0].addEventListener('load', function() {}); This error was: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method 'addEventListener' of undefined This is the first time I have used 'settings api' or inserted scripts into the WordPress admin.

  • How can this be done with (N)Hibernate?

    I'm creating a windows forms application with NHibernate. It's an MDI application, so there is no limit to how many forms the user can have open at the same time (probably many). For most forms I want to have an "OK" and a "Cancel" button. Both close the form, but "OK" also saves the modified data to the DB. The forms can be pretty complex, and the modifications are likely to touch a whole graph of objects, adding some, deleting some, and changing some more. It would be good if the changes could be automatically detected and persisted as needed, without the need to manually keep track of each of them. What would be a good way to do this? Extra information: I can make whatever DB schema I want. I'm using MSSQL 2008 and currently have decided for GUID primary keys (with guid.comb generator) and a TIMESTAMP column for optimistic concurrency. I tried to simply set FlushMode of a NHibernate ISession to Never, doing all modifications as needed, and then calling Flush() if the user clicked OK. But that didn't work.

  • Get a list of events owned by a facebook page

    Does anyone know how I can get a list of events owned (created) by a Facebook page? I seem to be able to use the "graph api" to generate a list of the events an entity is attending. I also looked at FQL, but it seems to require that the 'where' clause is an indexable field (and, naturally, the id is the only indexable field). For bonus points, we'd be able to do this without any authentication. (Though I'm resigned to the fact that I'm likely going to need at least a permanent access_token.) If anyone know how to do this I'd be eternally grateful.

  • C# / Visual Studio - Object is null unless I have a Breakpoint

    Hi Everyone, I'm specifically using the Google Contacts API at the moment, but this could be true of other scinarios as well. I have the following code: Contact newContact = new Contact(); When I let the code run without any breakpoints, I get a NullReferenceException on all of the properties of this object. However, if I put a breakpoint just after this line, I can see all of the properties have been initialises and the rest of my code executes fine. Any idea's would be greatly appreciated
