  Hi, I'm trying to use RichFaces on a working JSF2 application. • jQuery animation queues

  I am at a dead end, so hoping you jQuery gurus can help. I have a total of 10 elements (actually small images) on a page. I need to animate them like this: first 2 show up then the next 2 show up then the next 3 show up then the next 1 shows up then the last 2 show up So, I have added attributes to each one (sequence_num = "1" (or 2 or 3 etc) so I can easily choose via the $() which ones to animate using the animate() function.) My goal is to write a function that does the animation (I can do that - i think i have grasped the animate() function). What I am getting stuck on is how to delay the animation so the proper groups of objects are animated in before the next group starts. I have tried the queue parameter of the animate() function, but that doesn't seem to work for what I am trying to do. Does anyone have any experience with this?

It should provide a template loading interface which one can implement or something like that Easy inclusion of parameterized templates- I really like JSP's tag fragments Good docs, nice code, etc., the usual suspects I've looked at JSP- it's nearly perfect except for the servlet and filesystem coupling, Stringtemplate- I love the template syntax, but it fails on the filesystem coupling, the documentation is lacking and template groups and stuff are confusing, GXP, TAL, etc. Ideas, thoughts? How can I replace CAPICOM functionality with .net or any other alternative?

  I have a WCF service that has exposed a soap and an xml endpoint. When I use svcutil to generate the proxy code on the client side the generated configuration contains two endpoints which causes the client to fail. If I edit the web.config file and remove the second endpoint (with the custom binding) all works as expected. Is there a way I can get svcutil to generate a config that just works so that I don't need to hand edit the file everytime? • How to boot linux direct to application on console with no login

  I have a need to start an application on bootup on the linux console and I do not have a need for any type of login or security. I do not need any ALT-F1,F2,etc virtual consoles but I would like to allow SSH access via the network port for debugging, loading, etc. The application is a SDL graphics program running with fbcon as the SDL_VIDEODRIVER if that matters. I'm currently using Fedora 10 and 12 but any distro that supports SDL using the fbcon framebuffer would be acceptable.

In my app, I have satellite assemblies which are not in the same folder as the exe, and that causes me some trouble with FullTrust, as explained here. In order to solve that problem, I wish to use .NET 4.0 whose Code Access Security Policy should allow my satellite assemblies to be FullyTrusted. I need to convert to this using RegEx: Ford\tTaurus Ford\tF-150 Ford\tF-250 Toyota\tCamry Toyota\tCorsica So, I need to capture the parent (text between \r\n and \t not starting with \s\s), and apply that in the middle of any \r\n\s\s found until the next parent. I have a feeling this can be done with some sort of nested groups, but I think I need more caffeine or something, can't seem to work out the pattern. • Need to merge multiple pdf's into a single PDF with Table Of Contents sections

  Will have 50-100 single PDF's that we'll be generating with a php script. PDF's are generally grouped into groups of 10-20. Each group needs to have it's own Table of Contents or Index, and then there also needs to be a Master Table of Contents or Index at the beginning. Or if that is too difficult we could get away with a single Table of Contents at the beginning. What's the best way to go about this? Will we need to create the Table of Contents and then export that to PDF and append it to the beginning and mash the rest of the files after that? Or is there a better solution? And what's the best tool for us to merge the pdf's? Will be running on a Linux server.

  After running chkdsk C: /F /R and finding out that my hard disk has 24 KB in bad sectors (log is posted below), I decided to run Windows 7's System File Checker utility (sfc /scannow). • Asp.net MVC and MOSS 2010 integration

  Just a sidenote: I'm not sure whether I should post this to serverfault as well, because some MOSS admin may have some info for me as well? A bit of explanation first (without Asp.net MVC) Is it possible to integrate the two? Is it possible to write an application that would share at least credential information with MOSS? I have to write a MOSS application that has to do with these technologies: MOSS 2010 Personal client certificates authentication (most probably on USB keys) Active Directory Federation Services Separate SQL DB that would serve application specific data (separate as not being part of MOSS DB) How should it work? Users should authenticate using personal certificates into MOSS 2010 There would be a certain part of MOSS that would be related to my custom application This application should only authorize certain users via AD FS - I guess these users should have a certain security claim attached to them This application should manage users (that have access to this app) with additional (app specific) security claims related to this application (as additional application level authorization rights for individual application parts) This application should use custom SQL 2008 DB heavily with its own data This application should have the possibility to integrate with external systems as well (Exchange for instance to inject calendar entries, ERP systems etc) This application should be able to export its data (from its DB) to files. I don't know if it's possible, but it would be nice if the app could add these files to MOSS and attach authorization info to them so only users with sufficient rights would be able to view/open these files. Why Asp.net MVC then? I'm very well versed in Asp.net MVC (also with the latest version) and I haven't done anything on Sharepoint since version 2003 (which doesn't do me no good or prepare me for the latest version in any way shape or form). This project will most probably be a death march project so I would rather write my application as a UI rich Asp.net MVC application and somehow integrate it into MOSS. But not only via a link, because I would like to at least share credentials, so users wouldn't need to re-login when accessing my app. Using Asp.net MVC I would at least have the possibility to finish on time or be less death marching. Is this at all possible? Questions Is it possible to integrate Asp.net MVC into MOSS as described above? If integration is not possible, would it be possible to create a completely MOSS based application that would work as described? Which parts of MOSS 2010 should I use to accomplish what I need?

  Since the latest version of NSS does not provide the SSLSample program, I copied the folder SSLSample from the older version of NSS (3.9, 3.12) to the /security/nss/cmd folder inside nss-3.12.4 . When I run make nss_build_all in my 3.12.4, the other programs generated its own binary but not my SSLSample folder. I would like to know why?

  Hello, I have a working example of sending message to server and server receiving it via qpid messaging. These examples are downloaded from https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/qpid/trunk/qpid/java/client/example (someone may need it also). I've done Jboss messaging using spring before, but I can't manage to do the same with qpid. This works fine when there is no security on the .NET web service. However, we would like to use sys.utl_http or sys.utl_dbws to call a .NET web service with Kerberos or NTLM authentication. We're currently struggling with this. Any hints on how to solve it?
