    I have a .NET application running on windows. I want clicking on some page element (button link flash app etc) to lunch my app with some special parameters. (It should run not just in IE but on WebKit based windows browsers too) During App install we suppose that user is Admin and is running Vista or Windows 7 or Later. So my question is - Where to get examples of such interaction (WITH source of course)? So how to make WebKit based Browser or IE call your .Net application?

    I can compile DLLs properly using mingw and do the exports/imports stuff. What I am looking for is defining the dll onload function properly as you would in MS VC products. Google didn't turn up anything. Anyone have any ideas or a link to a tutorial? It was suggested that this code snippet be added to the question: extern "C" DLL_EXPORT BOOL APIENTRY DllMain(HINSTANCE hinstDLL, DWORD Reason, LPVOID LPV) And yes, this is what I am trying to do, but with mingw.

    If I need to know the total number of rows in a table of database I do something like this: $query = "SELECT * FROM tablename WHERE link='1';"; $result = mysql_query($query); $rows = mysql_fetch_array($result); $count = count($rows); So you see the total number of data is recovered scanning through the entire database. Is there a better way?

Therefore, I added the class manually from this link.     Here is the implementation: http://jsfiddle.net/AdQfB/2/ If you notice, when you click 'Login' or 'Register' before entering anything, you should see a few fields disappear and re-appear respectively. I would like for this page to display the view of just the two fields on the first load (rather than the current 5 it shows on first load), then when the user clicks the 'register' link, it shows the other 3 - for a total of 5.     (I am running Linux Ubuntu 9.10, so the extension for an executable is executablefile.out) I am just getting into modular programming (programming with multiple files) in C and I want to know how to compile multiple files in a single makefile. For example, what would be the makefile to compile these files: main.c, dbAdapter.c, dbAdapter.h?     I have 50 different websites that use the same layout and code base, but mostly non-overlapping data (regional support sites, not link farm). Is there a way to have a single installation of the code and run all 50 at the same time? When I have a bug to fix (or deploy new feature), I want to deploy ONE time + 1 restart and be done with it. Also: Code needs to know what domain the request is coming to so the appropriate data is displayed.
