  Using Perl's XML::LibXSLT necessitates that I use XSLT 1.0, which means that I am stuck without XSLT 2.0 features. Is there a way that I can still pad text cleanly in a plain-text output from my processing? What I want is: <values> <headers> <header>Header 1</header> <header>Header 2</header> </headers> <value> <one>First value 1</one> <two>First value 2</two> </value> <value> <one>Second value 1</one> <two>Second value 2</two> </value> .... <value> <one>Nth value 1</one> <two>Nth value 2</two> </value> </values> To become Header 1 Header 2 First value 1 First value 2 Second value 1 Second value 2 .... Nth value 1 Nth value 2 I realize that XSLT isn't necessarily ideally suited for this type of formatting, but the data will likely also be formatted in other ways.

• JSF getter methods called BEFORE beforePhase fires

  I got a recommendation to put all data lookups in the beforePhase for a given page, however, now that I am doing some deeper analysis it appears that some getter methods are being called before the beforePhase is fired. It became very obvious when I added support for a url parameter and I was getting NPEs on objects that are initialized in the beforePhase call. Any thoughts? Something I have set wrong. I have this in my JSP page: <f:view beforePhase="#{someController.beforePhaseSummary}"> That is only the 5th line in the JSP file and is right after the taglibs.   Working in WPF, writing a custom user control. I am trying to change the background property of the Border element when I change the value of a property of the class. Right now I am working on simply binding it to a DP, though if there is a better way I am open to suggestions.   Hello all, I have a function that will be passed in a link. The link is to a remote image. I thought I could just use the extension of the file in the URL to determine the type of image but some URLs won't have extensions in the URL. They probably just push headers to the browser and therefore I do not have an extension to parse from the URL. How can I test if the URL has an extension and if not then read the headers to determine the file type? Am I over complicating things here? Is there an easier way to do this? I am making use of Codeigniter maybe there is something already built in to do this? All I really want to do is download an image from a URL with the correct extension.   i am giving a training project for building a schema the following is the question all i would like to ask you guys is i am not sure what attributes would come in the table please see the problem below... create one new company and attach 10 attributes to the company. the company has two warehouses one in Torrance and another in Costa mesa. each warehouse should have 10 attributes. the company sells 100 products and services. each product and services should have 10 attributes. the company received orders. the orders should have HEADERS and Lines (am not sure what these are). each headers and lin should have 10 attributes. there should be a table for quantity on hand. the quantity on hand will increase once the warehouse receives good. please i only want some hints or clues on what attributes would generally come in this highlighted tables. thanks for help in advance guys....

• Multi Player game using Nodejs and Socket IO

  I am trying out multi player racing game using Node and Socket IO ,express . So I have tried simple example to see the latency between node server and the clients. I have a draggable image in client . when I move the image ienter code heren one client ,it has to move in all clients. so basically when I am moving the image I am sending the image position to the node server in a json format , then from there I am broadcasting to all clients. there is a ~approx 300ms latency from the time. following are the results. • Salesforce/PHP - outbound messages (SOAP) - memory limit issue? DOMDocument::loadXML() issue?

  I'm using Salesforce to send outbound messages (via SOAP) to another server. The server can process about 8 messages at a time, but will not send back the ACK file if the SOAP request contains more than 8 messages. SF can send up to 100 outbound messages in 1 SOAP request and I think this is causing a memory issue with PHP. If I process the outbound messages 1 by 1 they all go through fine, I can even do 8 at a time with no issues. But larger sets are not working. ERROR in SF: org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Premature end of file Looking in the HTTP error logs I see that the incoming SOAP message looks to be getting cut of which throws a PHP warning stating: DOMDocument::loadXML() ... Premature end of data in tag ... PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function getAttribute() on a non-object This leads me to believe that PHP is having a memory issue and can not parse the incoming message due to it's size. I was thinking I could just set: ini_set('memory_limit', '64M'); // This has done nothing to fix the problem But would this be the correct approach? Is there a way I could set this to increase with the incoming SOAP request dynamically?   I am trying to manipulate a string so that any quotes (") within <a href> and <\a> get taken out... Sorry if its been asked before but I just can't get it to work! By the way, I am POSTing the data from a form and then manipulating the string. This is basically html but its in the form of a string, and I want to take out quotes on things like images and links... Another thing is, I do not want to escape the quotes because that would break the link... And the whole point is that the html can be used and work fine... • WPF problem modify style of images in multiple Button Templates

  I'm trying to create a control panel for a video camera, the panel has buttons for up, down, left and right etc. Each camera function up, down, left and right is represented by three images (see code below) for the left side, middle and right side. The control panel is circular so the corner images kind of overlap (its complicated to explain this without a visual). When I click on up for example I have to hide the initial three images (leftside, middle and right side) and display another three images for left , middle and right that indicate that the button is pressed. I am achieving this by having a grid inside a button template. The problem I have is that for the corner images for the control there are really four images that represent this. For example for the top left corner the four images would be represent 1. Top not clicked. 2. Top Clicked and 3. Left Not clicked and 4. Left Clicked. My problem is if I need to make the images contained within the Top button have precedence when the top control is clicked or the images in the left button have precedence when the left button is clicked. So it's like I want to modify the left button's image visible property when the top button is clicked and vise versa.   In Global.asax handle errors by trying to redirect users to another page without changing the url in the address bar, that's why I am using RewritePath and not Redirect. void Application_Error(object sender, EventArgs e) { // Code that runs when an unhandled error occurs Context.RewritePath("~/Error.aspx", false); } Error.apsx in same root folder as About.aspx, and Default.aspx pages which of course work. Not sure I am having this issue. Have the following web.config file settings that I thought may be relevant: IIS7 settings: Application "TestRewriteUrl" under Default Web Site on DefaultAppPool. This example my seem trivial but I cannot use IIS7 HTTP Redirect as I actually was using this example to keep it simple. What I want to ultimately do is have a user type in http://www.somesite.com/myownpage and have it rewrite the path to another page in the same application directory by looking up the "myownpage" in the database to see what database id they have and redirect them to the correct "microsite" based on that without the user noticing a url change. Kind of like when you go to a blogging engine and no matter where in your blog you go the url remains the same. I don't want the user to go from http://www.mysite.com/tomshardware to http://www.mysite.com?id=8734656856. So that is why I used the simply example above to try and understand why the rewrite path does not work.

If I try to just say delete the entire line if it matches http://vidintex.com/includes/class.pop.php it also deletes the closing "" in the .html files as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

• Mechanize form submit not going to the correct response page, no errors as to why. Something I'm doing?

  I threw this all in one controller for testing purposes. My code fills out the form correctly for adding a new address to your Amazon account. There are two buttons that submit this form, one takes you to add a new address which is what I don't want, and the other is just a Save & Continue input/image. When I submit the form via that button, as I do below, the form is still on the page, filled out as I have with my code. Inspecting the page titles, they're the same. There are no discernible errors that Mechanize or Amazon spit back. • problems piping in node.js

The problem is in the pipe among the input stream (readable) and output stream (writable) when we have a async module before (in this case the setTimeOut timing). The pipe doesn't work and nothing is sent to dummy server in 8083 port. Maybe, when we have a async call (in this case the setTimeOut) before the pipe call, the inputstream change to a state "not readable", and after the async call the pipe doesn't send anything. This is just an example...we test it with more async modules from node.js community with the same result (ldapjs, etc)... We try to fix it with: - request.readable =true; //before pipe call - request.pipe(proxy_request, {end : false}); with the same result (the pipe doesn't work). Can anybody help us?   I am facing some problems with my server space. The images are using all the space from the server, making it slow. As it is an eCommerce website, it cannot be slow or we lose customers.   I'm aware that there are modules that fully simplify this function, but saying that I am running from a base install of python (standard modules only), how would I extract the following: I have a list. This list is the contents, line by line, of a webpage. Here is a mock up list (unformatted) for informative purposes: <script> link = "/scripts/playlists/1/" + a.id + "/0-5417069212.asx"; <script> "<a href="/apps/audio/?feedId=11065"><span class="px13">Eastern Metro Area Fire</span>" From the above string, I need the following extracted. The feedId (11065), which is incidentally a.id in the code above., "/scripts/playlists/1/" and "/0-5417069212.asx". Remembering that each of these lines is just contents from objects in a list, how would I go about extracting that data? • Creating a new variable in C from only part of an existing u_char

  I'm writing some C code to parse IEEE 802.11 frames, but I'm stuck trying to create a new variable whose length depends on the size of the frame itself. Here's the code I currently have: int frame_body_len = pkt_hdr->len - radio_hdr->len - wifi_hdr_len - 4; u_char *frame_body = (u_char *) (packet + radio_hdr->len + wifi_hdr_len); Basically, the frame consists of a header, a body, and a checksum at the end. I can calculate the length of the frame body by taking the length of the packet and subtracting the length of the two headers that appear before it (radio_hdr->len and wifi_hdr_len respectively), plus 4 bytes at the end for the checksum. However, how can I create the frame_body variable without the trailing checksum? Right now, I'm initializing it with the contents of the packet starting at the position after the two headers, but is there some way to start at that position and end 4 bytes before the end of packet? packet is a pointer to a u_char, if it helps. I'm a new C programmer, so any and all advice about my code you can give me would be much appreciated. Thanks!
