  I'm trying to recover GRUB after installing Windows 7. I installed Ubuntu 12.04 first, then installed Windows 7 so I lost the GRUB at startup. Made a USB stick with Ubuntu to boot from, I get the menu tell it to start and it takes off but then gets stuck.
