  Hi, Today I run into some oddity with PHP, which I fail find a proper explanation for in the documentation. Consider the following code: <?php echo $_GET['t']. PHP_EOL; ?> The code is simple - it takes a single t parameter on the url and outputs it back. So if you call it with test.php?t=%5Ca (%5c is a '\'), I expected to see: \a However, this is what I got: $ curl http://localhost/~boaz/test.php?t=%5Ca \\a Notice the double slash. • Jenkins and Visual Studio Online integration authentication

  right now I am trying to Setup Continuouse Integration - Delivery for a basic WCF Service, which will be hosted on a Microsoft Azure VM. The Project is Version Controlled through Visual Studio Online. So I installed Jenkins (also on the Azure VM), TFS plugin etc. and started the first Test Build: As Server URL I used "[VSO Adress]/DefaultCollection" and for Login purposes my Microsoft Account (I can Access VSO with that).   I have button on the page that being used as a link to another page. So when the user clicks the button they are redirected to the right page. I am using the Selenium extension for PHPUnit and I would like to test that the button is correctly redirecting the user. Here is the HTML that I am trying to test: <button onclick="window.location='/sponsor';" value="Continue" type="button" id="sponsorContinue" name="sponsorContinue">Continue</button> I have tried a lot of different approaches to click the button, but I can't seem to get any of them to work: $this->click("//button[@id='sponsorContinue']"); This command executes and does not throw any errors, but the page isn't redirected. It works fine when I manually click the button. What should I do?

• Jquery: how to trigger td a when tr is clicked

  Hey, I have a table where the first td in the trs contains a link. I want this anchor to be triggered (clicked) no matter where i click in the containing tr. I have read and tried alot of recents post and suggentions on this topic but i can't get this to work. I tried the trigger() and triggerHandle() functions, but it does not trigger the anchor click that i want. There must be others who have had the need to trigger a anchor click when a tr is clicked, so that the user doesn't have to click the tds anchor link. It sure is a nice UI feature if its possible? • Howto mix TDD and RAII

  I'm trying to make extensive tests for my new project but I have a problem. Basically I want to test MyClass. MyClass makes use of several other class which I don't need/want to do their job for the purpose of the test. So I created mocks (I use gtest and gmock for testing) But MyClass instantiate everything it needs in it's constructor and release it in the destructor. That's RAII I think. So I thought, I should create some kind of factory, which creates everything and gives it to MyClass's constructor. That factory could have it's fake for testing purposes. But's thats no longer RAII right? Then what's the good solution here?

• Unit testing the app.config file with NUnit

  When you guys are unit testing an application that relies on values from an app.config file? How do you test that those values are read in correctly and how your program reacts to incorrect values entered into a config file? It would be ridiculous to have to modify the config file for the NUnit app, but I can't read in the values from the app.config I want to test. Edit: I think I should clarify perhaps. I'm not worried about the ConfigurationManager failing to read the values, but I am concerned with testing how my program reacts to the values read in.

• Pass HTML form entries into a Javascript array to then be written to a client side cookie?

  I'm building a bit of a test-case JS application, something very basic, but have run into some problems. I'm trying to use a HTML form for a user to enter a number, which is then written to a Javascript Array. The user then has the option to write that same array to a local (client side) cookie. (I understand the security implications of this - it's a test-case and not for commercial use.) However, I can't make the connection - how can I capture the HTML entry, press 'submit' which will send it to a JS array, where the user can then press a different 'submit' which will write the array to a text file? If anyone can help I'd appreciate it because it's been nearly 6 hours and it's not funny anymore.

• Silverlight Calling an HttpHandler

  I have a Silverlight application that I'm trying to get to invoke an HttpHandler by using WebClient. I have the HttpHandler just sending an email that says test when invoked. If I hit it via a browser, I get the email. However, using a WebClient object with a delegate, I can't seem to get it to connect. I'm going to try a plain old WinForms app to test my code out later this evening, but wasn't sure if I was missing something in my Silverlight app. Any ideas?

  Hi all, I'm a bit new to Javascript and am trying to create a delimited string from a textare. The problem is when passing in the textarea, it adds newlines for each row on the textarea. I need to have the entire textarea parsed into a string with a delimiter for each line (replacing the newline char).   Hi, I cannot for the life of me get lists:keyfind to work as I expect in Erlang. I have the following eunit test: should_find_key_test() -> NewList = lists:keystore("key", 1, [], {"key", "value"}), Value = case lists:keyfind("key", 1, NewList) of false -> notfound; {_key, _value} -> _value end, ?debugVal(Value). Whenever I run this test I get the following error message: indextests:should_find_key_test (module 'indextests')...failed ::error:undef in function lists:keyfind/3 called as keyfind("key",1,[{"key","value"}]) in call from indextests:should_find_key_test/0 Can anyone see what I am doing wrong? • How to specify schema location in an xsd file?

  I have an xsd file Foo.xsd. I tried following ways to refer it in a WSDL file but it doesnt work. 1) placed the xsd file in local file system and imported it as <xsd:import namespace="http://ws.test.com/" schemaLocation="file:///D:/wsdl/Foo.xsd"></xsd:import> 2) Placed the xsd file in web root folder and imported as <xsd:import namespace="http://ws.test.com/" schemaLocation="http://localhost:8080/Xfire/Foo.xsd"></xsd:import> When I run the client I get null for the fields of response object. But this works when I embed the type definition inside the WSDL itself. How do we specify the path to external xsds? I am using xFire 1.2.6 for generating webservices. Client is generated using xFire WSGen ant task.
