  • How to use MongoRegex (MongoDB C# Driver)

    - by Hery
Has anyone have any idea how to use MongoRegex for the document search? I attempted this, but returns nothing back: var spec = new Document(); spec.Add("Name", new MongoRegex("/" + searchKey + "*/", "i")); collection.Find(spec) Wondering why it doesn't work, I tried to execute following command from the console: db.things.find({"Name":/john*/i}) /* WORKS */ db.things.find({"Name":"/john*/i"}) /* DOESN'T WORK */ Is that possible that the driver applies double quotation to the regex? Thanks..

  • Searching global catalog

    - by Will I Am
If I do a query (I plan to use SDS.P) against the global catalog, what should the starting path be so I can search the entire GC? I want to enumerate all users in GC, for example. Let's say my gc has users for 3 domains (one parent, two children): TEST.COM ONE.TEST.COM TWO.TEST.COM and i'm on a computer in ONE.TEST.COM. I do not want to hardcode DC=XXX,DC=yyy, I would like to determine that at runtime. TIA! -Will

  • Beginner SEO question on urlrewrite rules

    - by Charlie
I just starting reading about SEO and realized that I should change my "GET" queries to / separated keywords for SEO purposes. Here's my question: I have a multi-select checkbox on my form, so my query string would be: http://www.domainname.com/searchitem.html?cat[]=A&cat[]=B&cat[]=C&param1=p1&param2=p2 Whats the convention for handling this kind of queries? changing it to search/catA/catB/catC/p1/p2 doesn't seem right to me but i don't know what else to do Thanks

  • Valid URL-string as NSUrl becomes null

    - by Mike
Hello, another issue where I seem to have found an solution for ObjC but not MonoTouch. I want a NSUrl from an URL (as string). The string may contain whitespace and backslashes. Why is NSUrl returning null for such string, even though these are valid urls in a browser? For example: NSUrl foo = NSUrl.FromString(@"http://google.com/search?\query"); foo == null Any suggestions?

  • Labeling Y axis with PChart

    - by Sortea2
I am using PChart for PHP to draw graphs, it is working pretty well. I have drawn a graph with intensities (2 = strong, 1 = medium, 0 = low) and I would like to know if is possible to show on the Y axis the description of the data (strong, medium, low) instead of the inappropriate numbers (2,1,0). (I have search a lot without success, theoretically you can only set the X labels according to http://pchart.sourceforge.net/documentation.php?topic=faq.xlabels.) Thanks!

  • powerbuilder: insert data using datawindow

    - by Archangel
Hi, suppose I have a table called 'test', into which there are three columns named test_id, test_name and test_age. I have used a retrieval argument called :al_test_id to promot the user to insert an id and search the database for the corresponding id entries, and if found, display it to the user. Now if no entry is found, then I want the user to be able to insert a new row using the id that he/she entered as the retrieval argument. How can I do that?

  • Install webapp to homescreen on iPhone?

    - by Stefan Kendall
How do I go about allowing my webapp to be installed as an icon on a user's homescreen? Is the data cached locally, so that the webapp can be run when the user is outside of 3G? I did a quick google, but my search terms were lacking. I noticed that Google Buzz allowed me to install locally, and I'm wondering what the process is for creating web apps, and if they get special treatment (full caching/running offline).

  • JavaScript autocomplete upon typing

    - by James
Right guys, all autocomplete plugins and functions that I've found, they only update upon keyup/down, etc. This is fine but the search only begins occurring once the user has stopped typing and if they are typing a phrase or word, the script is unable to instantly start suggesting, etc. I know this'll be a very simple fix or suggestion for some of you guys, so any help would be greatly appreciated as to how I can convert it to be instantly as a key is pressed. Thanks!

  • How can I find images to represent user text?

    - by Crashalot
On our web site, users enter free form text like "Ribeye steak at Safeway for $8.99. Great deal in Palo Alto." Does anyone know of APIs that can take free form text and return an image that best represents the text? Right now, we're feeding the whole text to Google Image Search, but sometimes the extraneous words (e.g., at, for, $8.99) skew the query and induce weird results.

  • JavaScript query string

    - by Chris
Is there any JavaScript library that makes a dictionary out of the query string, ASP.NET style? Something that would be used like: var query = window.location.querystring["query"]? Is a "query string" called something else outside the .NET realm? Why isn't location.search broken into a key/value collection already? EDIT: I have written my own function, thanks, but does any major JavaScript library do this?

  • ASP.NET Tab Controls

    - by George Stocker
I'm currently attempting to create a tabbed interface in a web application, and based on my search, there aren't any 'built in' tab controls in ASP.NET. There are some in the ASP.NET AJAX downloadable toolkit, as well as a wealth of 'pay for use' third party Tab Controls. My question is: What Tab control have you used for ASP.NET applications, and why do you use it?
