  Ive defined a a class that inherits from django.contrib.syndication.feeds.Feed class Rss(Feed): ... def item_title(self, item): return "Hello" def item_description(self, item): return "Test" The issue those strings are never used, even when not using a template whats used is the templates you define. Am I missing something?

  hello all, I am new to the concept of threading in C..so I find it difficult to implement that in my function...I have a simple application in which i want to display a progress bar at a particular place..In a particular funtion I will read files(in a for loop) for some manipulations(regarding my application) ...while its reading the files I want to display a progress bar...stating that its in process of reading files...I know it should be done using the concept of threading...but i am not quite sure how to do it..please help me with this

  Hello I built a webusercontrol in asp.net which contains a databound dropdown. When I directly put this control into a webform it runs well. But if I try to add this control as childcontrol to another control at runtime Childcontrol childcontrol = new Childcontrol (); maincontrol.controls.add(childcontrol) , the dropdown of the childcontrol is not instatiated (is null) so that I run in an exception by trying to bind the data to the dropdown.

After some quick research I saw there was an interesting library called 'wxi' (based on Fudgets of Haskell) which uses a different approach on GUI's. No central loop, every widget processes it's own events and handles it's own data. What do you guys think about this?
