  • base64-Encoding breaks smime-encrypted emaildata

    I'm using Mime::Lite to create and send E-Mails. Now I need to add support for S/Mime-encryption and finally could encrypt my E-Mail (the only Perllib I could install seems broken, so I'm using a systemcall and openssl smime), but when I try to create a mime-object with it, the E-Mail will be broken as soon as I set the Content-Transfer-Encoding to base64. To make it even more curious, it happens only if I set it via $myMessage->attr. If I'm using the constructor -new everything is fine, besides a little warning which I suppress by using MIME::Lite->quiet(1); Is it a bug or my fault? Here are the two ways how I create the mime-object.     Under what circumstances would I see the above message? I have a single call to SQL Server which is wrapped in a call to TransactionScope. In our development and QA environments MSDTC is turned off and the call succeeds fine. However, in our production environment with MSDTC turned on we are failing with this call. Is there something that would cause this when I am sure we are not looking at a distributed transaction call at all?

  • Contact form problem - I do receive messages, but no contents (blank page).

    I have a contact form on site which used to work, but since last few months has stopped working properly. This could have been due to some coding error that I can't figure out. I tried that on a dll files I got and got an error message saying that "the entry-point DLLRegisterServer was not found." I heard that to use theis dll file you have to use "ctypes." I assumed grant alter on myTable to [user] was enough but I'm getting the error message The UPDATE permission was denied on the object 'myTable', database 'x', schema 'dbo'.   • Getting 404 when attempting to POST file to Google Cloud Storage from service account

    I'm wondering if anyone can tell me the proper syntax & formatting for a service account to send a POST Object to bucket request? I'm attempting it programmatically using the HttpComponents library. I manage to get a token from my GoogleCredential, but every time I construct the POST request, I get: HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?><Error><Code>AccessDenied</Code><Message>Access denied.</Message><Detailsbucket-name</Details></Error The Google documentation that describes the request methods, mentions posting using html forms, but I'm hoping that wasn't suggesting the ONLY way to get the job done. I know that HttpComponents has a way to explicitly create form data by using UrlEncodedFormEntity, but it doesn't support multipart data. Which is why I went with using the MultipartEntity class.
