• How can I set environment variables depending on directory

  If I have 'export BLA="hey there"' in .profile in my home directory, how can I change this later in other directories just by cd into the other directory? Also, is there a way to just set a new environment variable when I cd into a directory. My first attempt was to just make another .bashrc file in the directory where I want the change but apparently that proved less than effective. I'm on OS X btw.

• jQuery shifting blocks of content to top on click/toggle

  I have blocks of content that are toggled on/off via jQuery and I want to have the most recent one clicked to shuffle to the top of the content area. There are 4 that can be enabled and if you do it in a random order, or even intended order, it is hard to tell which one you just opened if it's not in the view window. • Given this demo, How do I make HTML content area fit to viewport height?

  I just made this demo extracting out what I'm trying to accomplish: Autosize Main Content Area I want the pink/yellow area to act according to these rules: Minimum height is the size of its content (which is variable) IF content size is smaller than viewport size Otherwise minimum height is such that it adjusts to fill the window. Checking out the source to that demo, what am I missing? I feel like this is a pretty easy case that shouldn't require javascript. Any ideas?

  Hi, I am trying to use a Microtheory for a research project I am working on, and am having trouble getting my saved Image of constants I create to work correctly. I save the image after creating the constants using (write-image "world\MyImage") and then going to the \server\run\ directory and using run-cyc-32bit.bat -w "world\MyImage" It loads the server correctly, but not with my constants.   NSIS has a Name variable that you define in the script: Name "MyApp" It defines the name of the installer, that gets displayed as the window title, etc. Is there a way to pull the .NET Version number out of my main EXE and append it to the Name? So that my installer name would automatically be 'MyApp V2.2.0.0" or whatever?

• Fixing VB6 inaccurate mathmetical results due to rounding

  Try running this in a .VBS file MsgBox(545.14-544.94) You get a neat little answer of 0.199999999999932! This rounding issue also occurs unfortunately in Sin(2 * pi) since VB can only ever see the (user defined) variable pi as accurate as 3.14159265358979. Is rounding it manually (and loosing accuracy) the only way to improve the result? What is the most effective way of dealing with this kind of problem?

  I'm developing an iPhone application. I have an EXC_BAD_ACCESS that occurs only in the release target; when I build the debug target the exception does not occur. However, when I set the NSZombieEnabled environment variable to YES, I still get the EXC_BAD_ACCESS with no further information. Is it even possible for NSZombieEnabled to work when executing the release target? I don't see why not, since gdb is running in both cases...
