  • SQL query construction - separate data in a column into two columns

    I have a column that contains links. The problem is that the titles of the links are in the same column, so it looks like this: linktitle|-|linkurl I want link title and linkurl in separate columns. I've created a new column for the urls, so I'm looking for a way to extract them and update the linkurl column with them. Is there any clever way to construct a query that does this?

    I tried the following Net::HTTP.get_print URI.parse(URI.encode('https://graph.facebook.com/me/likes?access_token=mytoken', '|')) (My Token is my actual token in code) I get a EOFError: end of file reached error If I visit the page with my browswer it loads up a JSON page. Any idea what could be causing the error? It was working a few days ago. Can't see any changes to facebook api.

    Hello.I have a page "index.php" where i have a link called "add_users.php".In "add_users.php",i accept user information and come back to the same page "index.php" where information comes through post action and gets inserted into the database.When i refresh the page orhit back button,resend box appears.I went through many solution where they asked me to create third page.I tried doing that as follows:After inserting values in database,I redirected ht page as header('Location:http://mysite.com/thankyou.php, and in thankyou.php I again redirected the page to index.php.But getting warning as Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by.... provide me a better solution.     I am calling SetTimer in a function of a Class. SetTimer(NULL, 0, 10000, (TIMERPROC) TimerCallBack); Where TimerCallBack is: static VOID CALLBACK TimerCallBack(HWND, UINT, UINT, DWORD) Now my need is to call one of the method of class which initiated timer, since TimerCallBack is static it has no access to the class object anymore. I cant find any way to pass object pointer along with the SetTimer so that I can receive it back on Callback function. Is there any other way to achieve this, if its not supported using SetTimer then which other way I can implement this.

    I'm new to Python (like Zygote new), and it's just to supplement another program but what I need is I have a text file that's a group of items for a game and it is formatted so: [1] Name=Blah Faction=Blahdiddly Cost=1000 [2] Name=Meh Faction=MehMeh Cost=2000 [3] Name=Lollypop Faction=Blahdiddly Cost=100 And I need to be able to find out what groups (the numbers in brackets) have matching values. So if I search Faction=Blahdiddly Group 1 & 3 will come up. I unfortunately have NO idea how to do this. Can anyone help?

    I'm working on a program from my C++ textbook, and this this the first time I've really run into trouble. I just can't seem to see what is wrong here. Visual Studio is telling me Error: identifier "string" is undefined. I separated the program into three files. A header file for the class specification, a .cpp file for the class implementation and the main program file. These are the instructions from my book: Write a class named Car that has the following member variables: year. An int that holds the car's model year. make. A string that holds the make of the car. speed. An int that holds the car's current speed. In addition, the class should have the following member functions. Constructor. The constructor should accept the car's year and make as arguments and assign these values to the object's year and make member variables. The constructor should initialize the speed member variable to 0. Accessors. Appropriate accessor functions should be created to allow values to be retrieved from an object's year, make and speed member variables. There are more instructions, but they are not necessary to get this part to work.   • How to normalize SVG path data (cross browser)?

    I have tried to find a way to implement cross browser path normalizer. There IS a native way which is described here and functional example is here, but it works only in newest Opera (but not in IE, FF, Safari, Chrome). The native way uses pathElm.normalizedPathSegList and it converts all relative coordinates to absolute ones and represents all path segment types as a following subset of types: M,L,C,z. I have found only one javascript code and jsfiddled functional example of it, but it works only in IE and FF. Chrome gives "Uncaught Error: INDEX_SIZE_ERR: DOM Exception 1". How this could be fixed to work also in Opera, Safari and Chrome or is there any other way for normalizing SVG paths?
