  • Start FF with plugins disabled.

    Strange problem. Opened FF 3.6.3 after a re-boot and my last opened tabs appeared but none of the page or menu elements would respond to a click. No error messages...just locked up. Started FF with a different profile and it works normally. Next i used FEBE to restore a backup of my working profile and, after the restore, it's doing the same thing - locked out. No newly installed plugins but since a brand new profile works while a restored one doesn't it kinda points to a problematic plug-in. Is there any way to start FF with all plugins disabled? thx

  • Netbeans: Install/Activate/Uninstall/Deactivate plugins buttons disabled

    I recently installed Netbeans 6.9 on a new computer. I went to install the NB Android plugin, which I have on another computer, but I found most of the functionality of the plugins window disabled. The install, uninstall, activate, and deactivate buttons are grayed out. I have included images at the bottom. This hasn't happened to me before, and searching Google hasn't turned up anything useful. I thought it might have been a permission problem so I tried running Netbeans with gksudo but that didn't help. I also thought it might have been something wonky with the Ubuntu Software Center install, so I uninstalled that one, and downloaded Netbeans from the main site and I installed it in my home directory, but it does the same thing. I'm running Xubuntu 10.10 and Netbeans 6.9.1 Available Plugins Tab It won't let me add more than one hyperlink due to a lack of reputation. Installed Tab - http + i.imgur.com/Nhqi4.png

  • Good DB Migrations for CakePHP?

    Hi, I have been trying a few migration scripts for CakePHP but I ran into problems with all of the in some form or another. Please advice me on a migration option for Cake that you use live and know works. I'd like the following "features": -Support CakePHP 1.2(e.g. CakeDCs migrations will only be an option when 1.3 is stable and my app migrated to the new codebase) -Support for (or at least not halt on) Models with a different database config. -Support Models in sub-folders of app/models -Support Models in plugins -Support tables that do not conform to Cake conventions (I have a few special tables that do not have a single primary key field and need to keep them) -Plays well with automated deployment via Capistrano and Git. I do not need rails-style versioned files a git versioned schema file that is compared live to the existing schema will do. That is: I like the SchemaShell in Cake apart from it not being compatible with most of my requirements above.   • CakePHP 2.0: how to access properties of the parent object?

    I just started learning CakePHP 2.0 a few days ago, and there's one thing that is leaving me stumped: say I have an User model and a Posts model: class User extends AppModel { public $name = "User"; public $hasMany=array( 'Post' => array( 'className' => 'Post', 'foreignKey' => 'author_id' ) ); } class Post extends AppModel { public $name = 'Post'; public $belongsTo = array( 'className' = 'User', 'foreignKey' = 'author_id', ); } (Where "author_id" is the foreign key in the posts table that references the Users table's primary key). And now, in the PostsController, I want to access the properties of the user that owns the current post (to show his display name, for example). What would be the proper syntax? I tried: $this->Post->User->find('first', array('conditions' => array('User.id' => "$usuario"))) But it didn't work (I guess it's because the User is the parent of the Post object, not its child). Or should CakePHP load everything automatically, once you've declared the $hasMany and $belongsTo relationships?

  • JSF Portlets in Liferay on JBoss

    I'm currently looking at working with and deploying JSF portlets into Liferay 6.0.5, sitting on JBoss 5.1.0. I ran into a lot of trouble trying to port some JSF-y/Seam-y/EJB-y stuff I had lying around, so I thought I'd start simple and work my way up. I could generate generic portlets using the NetBeans Maven archetype for Liferay portlets absolutely fine, but it's rather irrelevant because I wanted JSF portlets I took an example JSF portlet from http://www.liferay.com/downloads/liferay-portal/community-plugins/-/software_catalog/products/5546866 and attempted to deploy into a clean, vanilla installation of Liferay 6.0.5/JBoss 5.1.0 to no avail. The log messages are reproduced at the end of this. This particular example was actually tested for GlassFish and Tomcat, so it's not particularly helpful considering I'm deplying into JBoss.   • CakePHP in a subdirectory using nginx (Rewrite rules?)

    OS: Ubuntu 12.10 Server 64bits I've installed Icinga, with ido2db, pnp4nagios and icinga-web (last release, following the instruction given in the documentation, installation with apt, etc). I am using icinga-web to monitor my hosts. For the moment, I have just my localhost, and all is perfect. I am trying to add a host and monitor it with NRPE (version 2.12): root@server:/etc/icinga# /usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_nrpe -H client NRPE v2.12 The configuration looks good.     Hello All, I am using Ubuntu + cakephp 1.3. I am trying the database migration with the help of cakeDC migration plugin. I configured the plugin as per the instructions. But when i goes to the terminal, goes to the path of the application application_path/app/ dir then fire a command 'cake migration help' it gives me following error, Hello user, Welcome to CakePHP v1.2 Console Current Paths: -working: /path/to/cake/ -root: /path/to/cake/ -app: /path/to/cake/app/ -core: /path/to/cake/ Changing Paths: your working path should be the same as your application path to change your path use the '-app' param. A few weeks ago I came across a tutorial in which the author got three tables in Database: Table A: {ID, Description, IsActive} Table B: {ID, TableA_ID, Description, CreationDate, ModifiedDate} Table A_B: {ID, TableA_ID, TableB_ID} The author of the tutorial said that the third table (Table A_B) is needed to run in CakePHP. I don't understand. Is there any specific documentation in CakePHP that I can refer to? I know there is a CookBook in Cakephp web site, but I couldn't find the relevant infromation.

    The CakePHP Cookbook states that a Model can use a file (csv for example) instead of an actual database table but I couldn't find any implementation for it. I was wondering if it is possible to use an Array of data as a model in CakePHP since I have a fairly static set of data which is important to me in a relationship with another table but it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to create a complete table for it. Is it possible to implement a CakePHP Model using an Array?

    Hi somebody please help me out, I've asked this at stackoverflow as well but not got much of a response and was debating whether it was programming or server related. I’m trying to setup a cakephp environment on a Centos server running Nginx with Fact CGI. I already have a wordpress site running on the server and a phpmyadmin site so I have PHP configured correctly. My problem is that I cannot get the rewrite rules setup correct in my vhost so that cake renders pages correctly i.e. with styling and so on.     Hi! I have a C++ application that loads externals plugins thanks to QPluginloader. QPluginLoader provides access to a Qt plugin. A Qt plugin is stored in a shared library (a DLL). The plugins have to inherit from a pure virtual class ( and Q_DECLARE_INTERFACE ) and QObject. I would like to create plugins by using python and PyQt. Is this possible without too much work? For instance if I have to convert the modules to C++ with boost::python, this could be nonsense, as PyQt is already a conversion from C++ to Python... Thanks!

  • Eclipse Java EE - Galileo - Unable to view plugins

    I am new to Eclipse so I am having a hard time troubleshooting this problem. I have a new installation of Eclipse Java EE - Galileo on Windows, and I am unable to see any changes made in the IDE after installing plugins. I have verified that the plugins are installed via installation details, but see no changes made. For example, after installing the maven integration plugin m2eclipse I go to File-New-Project ... and I have no option for maven. After installing the QuickRex plugin I have no view for it etc. I have tried re-installing the plugins, re-installing Eclipse, and starting Eclipse with the -clean option, but nothing has resolved the issue. Any ideas? Thanks!

  • Finding the best jquery plugins

    Is there a resource for finding the "best" jquery plugins, or at least just the most used ones? For example, I wanted to find a menu jquery plugin but when I goto the jquery website there are so many to look through and I don't see a way to see how popular each one is. For ruby there's the http://ruby-toolbox.com/ which lists many plugins, how popular they are, info about them, etc. Is there something similar or at least some way to filter through all the jquery plugins? EDIT 1: To shed some more light on this - the "most popular" link on the jquery page is useless. I can't find a way to search through it but even worse, the ratings don't seem to mean much. Ex - the first item, in other words the most popular plugin in that list has 5 stars and TWO votes. Doesn't seem like a very reliable resource to me.
