  • Embeding EasyVideoPlayer Code into Wordpress Theme - Video not showing

    I'm attempting to place some embed code into a Premium WordPress Theme. NOTE: I'm not great when it comes to php. The embed code is produced by a video player called EasyVideoPlayer. (Basically it allows me to use Amazon S3 and gives me feedback on when people stop watching the video.) This is the embed code I have: _evpInit('ZXh0cmEtbW9uZXktZnJvbS1ob21lLTEubW92'); I've opened the index.php wordpress file and placed this video embed code in between the that represents the area of the website I want it to show up. However the video is not showing. If we place both the theme and video player aside, would you expect the php code to accept what I've done or is this not the way to go about adding this embed code? NOTE:I've contacted both the Wordpress Premium Theme support at Woothemes.com and the video players support for EasyVideoPlayer.com However both tend to stop at the point that another paid product is involved!     I have a pdf form that uses Acrobat 8 features. The form contains Javascript that interacts with the hosting web page. Some of my Windows users have both Adobe Acrobat and Acrobat Reader installed, and need Adobe Acrobat to be the default handler for pdf files. The users with Adobe Acrobat 7 are unable to use the form, even though they might have Acrobat Reader 8 or 9 installed.   • How can I embed a youtube video using variable widths/heights for a dynamic width web page?

    I want to set a youtube video to 100% width so that it scales appropriately in a dynamic width column on a web page I am designing. The problem is that the height doesn't behave like the height of an image. Instead of scaling proportionately, it either collapses (if set to "auto" or left blank) or it scales seemingly random if set to a percentage. How can I get it to remain proportionate while still dynamic?

    I've got various flash files stored on my server. For this exmaple - here is the directory structure: Files Example - example.swf - example.xml So then on a separate webpage stored in the root of my server.. i'm embeding the flash. ... <param name="movie" value="http://www.example.com/Files/Example/example.swf"> ... Now the issue comes. Because the .swf is trying to access example.xml ... which is NOT stored in the root directory. How can I fix this problem? (I'd rather not use an iframe)

    I know that it's possible to compile my C code into a dll, and then use P/Invoke to call that code. What I wondered if it was possible to have a chunk of C code embedded directly in my code, perhaps only available to one class... Something like this (non-working) example: public class MyClass { extern "C" { int do_something_in_c(int i) { return i*2; } } public int DoSomething(int value) { return do_something_in_c(value); } } I've been trying for a few hours using Visual Studio 2008, but I'm not getting anywhere, and I suspect that it isn't actually possible.     Is is possible to export an entire unity3d project/game as an AssetBundle and load it on iOS/Android/Windows on an app that doesn't know anything about such game beforehand? What I have in mind is something like the web plugin does - it loads a series of .unity3d files over http, and render inline in the browser window. Is it even possible to do something closer for iOS/Android?   • Embed album art in OGG through command line in linux

    I want to convert my music from flac to ogg, and currently oggenc does that perfectly except for album art. Metaflac can output album art, however there seems to be no command line tool to embed album art into ogg. MP3Tag and EasyTag are able to do it, and there is a specification for it here which calls for the image to be base64 encoded. However so far I have been unsuccessful in being able to take an image file, converting it to base64 and embedding it into an ogg file. If I take a base64 encoded image from an ogg file that already has the image embedded, I can easily embed it into another image using vorbiscomment: vorbiscomment -l withimage.ogg > textfile vorbiscomment -c textfile noimage.ogg My problem is taking something like a jpeg and converting it to base64. Currently I have: base64 --wrap=0 ./image.jpg Which gives me the image file converted to base64, using vorbiscomment and following the tagging rules, I can embed that into an ogg file like so: echo "METADATA_BLOCK_PICTURE=$(base64 --wrap=0 ./image.jpg)" > ./folder.txt vorbiscomment -c textfile noimage.ogg However this gives me an ogg whose image does not work properly. I noticed when comparing the base64 strings that all properly embedding pictures have a header line but all the base64 strings I generate are lacking this header. Further analysis of the header: od -c header.txt 0000000 \0 \0 \0 003 \0 \0 \0 \n i m a g e / j p 0000020 e g \0 \0 \0 \0 \0 \0 \0 \0 \0 \0 \0 \0 \0 \0 0000040 \0 \0 \0 \0 \0 \0 \0 \0 035 332 0000052 Which follows the spec given above. Notice 003 corresponds to front cover and image/jpeg is the mime type. So finally, my question is, how can I base64 encode a file and generate this header along with it for embedding into an ogg file?

Is there a way to make it render the sub-template for each iteration? Edit: stranger yet, if caching is enabled for the sub-template, it renders for each iteration—but, of course, the arguments on the embed tag aren't passed to subsequent iterations, as the sub-template is cached.

    I'm using the Gmail labs feature that allows me to embed images into emails. The feature works fine and when I send the email, I believe it actually does embed the image and the recipient sees it as such. But when I look in my sent box and bring up the email, instead of the embedded image, I see an icon in its place. Is this correct? Why is this like this? I want to be able to see the embedded image just like when the email was composed.

    Hello, I've been trying to embed an icon (.ico) into my "compyled" .exe with py2exe. Py2Exe does have a way to embed an icon: windows=[{ 'script':'MyScript.py', 'icon_resources':[(1,'MyIcon.ico')] }] And that's what I am using. The icon shows up fine on Windows XP or lower, but doesn't show at all on Vista. I suppose this is because of the new Vista icon format, which can be in PNG format, up to 256x256 pixels. So, how can I get py2exe to embed them into my executable, without breaking the icons on Windows XP? I'm cool with doing it with an external utility rather than py2exe - I've tried this command-line utility to embed it, but it always corrupts my exe and truncates its size for some reason.

Uploading the files on scribd and embedding it on our website for viewing on scribd viewer. Will making documents available on srcibd viewer on our website affect search engine rankings ? Will search engines treat it as duplicate content as those are already uploaded on scribd and we are embedding it on our website ? On scribd we have set the uploaded documents as 'private' though. And if it affects, can you suggest any suitable way to make .docx files to be viewed on our website that doesn't affect search engine rankings ?

  • How to embed woff fonts for iframe source pages?

    I am trying to make and embed a slideshow (of text, photo, audio, video, etc) in my site (HTML5) by loading webpages consecutively inside an iframe embedded in my first page. Most or all of the frame source pages, i.e. pages loaded inside first iframe are mine, but located in many different places. All of these pages are in an Indic language. Although I can use UTF-8 charset and lang="" declaration and that's probably enough functionally, but I also want to embed my preferred Indic unicode font in WOFF format via CSS3 @font-face rule , so the size and look of the text is uniform and the way I want it - throughout the slideshow. Problem is, there are many many pages in the slideshow all located in various places with many more linked pages, and it is next to impossible, or at least would be extremely tedious, to embed my custom WOFF font in every single page (which will also require separate css and uploading of fonts in every single instance). Besides, this may make the slideshow very heavy, sluggish and cumbersome for the user, since it will have to load the custom Indic font again and again everytime a new page is loaded in the iframe. I am not sure about this though. Is that how it works? I ask this, because I noticed that when I embedded my custom WOFF font in the 'first' page, it did not have any effect on the pages loaded inside the iframe. If I embed the font in some of the pages in the iframe, the next pages still don't get my font. Is there a way to embed my custom WOFF font only once, preferably in the first page where the first iframe is, and pass its effect on to all the pages embedded / loaded through the iframe and make their text show up as per my initially embedded woff font - without embedding my font in every single of them? Please help!
