    Hi, A time ago I had a script who got the flv-file from a specified youtube-video, which now is broken due to changes at their website. I am wondering if Youtube may have an API to download the flv-file, where can I find it in that case? Have anyone build an own script, may someone wanna help be building it?     Hi Folks, this call my $th = threads->create(\&print, "Hello thread World!\n"); $th->join(); works fine. But as soon as I add binmode(STDOUT, ":encoding(ISO-8859-1)"); to my script file, I get an error like "segmentation fault", "access denied".   • Refresh text shown in a Gtk Widget

    Hi Guys, Being resonably new to using GTK, im not fully aware of all its functionality. Basically, i have a GtkTreeView widget that has 4 Columns. I need to update the text displayed in the 4 columns every couple of seconds, but im not aware how to do this in GTK. Im aware that i could flush the data using gtk_tree_store_clear, but im not sure how to repopulate the columns and have the top level window refresh to show this new data. Any ideas? Regards Paul

    Hey guys, I'm developing an extension for Safari 5 at the moment. In my extension, I use an additional toolbar, with selectboxes in it. Now, it would be great to style these like the folders in the bookmarks toolbar look. I know that it would be possible to replace my select with a completely styleable ul-list or somethin like that, but maybe there is a simpler solution.   • Winsock Connect Problem with Eset Nod32

    Dear All, my socket library which is implemented using winsock2 is working properly. But when ESET Nod32 installed on the computer, connect() function returns 0(zero) ,that is success, even if remote host is not available. I looked with netstat -b command and saw that ekrn.exe is accepting the client. And after couple of seconds it sends zero byte of information,which means graceful close.     I am resonably experienced with asp.net and would like to learn a new language with a focus on web development. Licensing and hosting costs are why I would like to use something not reliant on microsoft so something based on open source technologies is a plus. I have had a tiny bit of experience with php and did not like it but I guess I could be convinced otherwise.     Hello, all ... I want to determine when the index (transparent alphabet) along the side of a UITableView is tapped. To be more specific, I have a sectioned UITableView that has an index, and said index does the right thing, but when the UITableView's -scrollViewDidScroll method is called, I want to be able to determine if said scrolling was the result of the user tapping the index, vs. dragging or swiping the table view itself.
