Fixing Floating Point Error

I have some code that gets the leading value (non-zero) of a Double using normal math instead of String Math... For Example: 0.020 would return 2 3.12 would return 3 1000 should return 1 The code I have at the moment is: LeadingValue := Trunc(ResultValue * Power(10, -(Floor(Log10(ResultValue))))) However when ResultValue is 1000 then LeadingValue ends up as 0. What can I do to fix this problem I'm assuming is being caused by floating point errors? Thanks.

Calculation error in Datasheet view in SharePoint

I have a custom list, with calculation, in SharePoint. Everything worked fine until recently when the DataSheet will show strange or wrong % calculation in a % column. But the Standard View will show correct values. IT checked the server side and everything looked ok, I checked the formulas and even re-did them in the column and the issue persist. Error message when trying to insert method into touchesBegan

I am trying to create a new method within my TapDetectingImageView file and it's giving me a warning that it cannot find the method even though I have it declared in the .h file. The specific three warnings all point to the @end line in the .m file when I build it and they say: "Incomplete implementation of class 'TapDetectingImageView' ; 'Method definition for '-functionA:' not found" ; "Method definition for '-functionB:' not found" What am I missing? Am I not allowed to do this in a protocol file like TapDetectingImageView? Hi How can i pass the different types of errors from Data access layer to presentation layer? suppose if we take the northwind database scenario I want to delete the customer, so i selected one customer in ui and clicked the "delete" button.It internally calls the "delete" in data access layer. The prerequisite for deleting the customer is that the customer doesn't have any orders.So in data access layer we wil check whether that customer has any orders.If the customer has orders how can we pass the message from dal to presentation layer that the customer has orders and we don't delete. Hi All, I have seen the BusinessCard example provide in Android examples. I am using ContactAccessor abstract class to seperate out the SDK versions. My code is running fine for 2.0 onwards, but when I am trying to build the code in Adnroid 1.6 I am getting the following errors: Build.VERSION_CODES.ECLAIR is not resolved. Getting errors in the whole class in which I have used Contacts APIs from 2.0 (say in class ContactAccessorSdk5.java). How to resolve these issues? I want to run my App on both the versions. I use EF for the back-end DataLayer in my asp.net websites. I create a class library and add the Model in it, reference it and use it from the ASP.NET Website. But this time, I generated the model from database but it seems does not implement IDisposable, and the methods I used to see are not there. DeleteObject , SaveChanges etc. There are only Two tables in the DB and the Model was generated with only the TableSets and two methods AddToTableSet ... Had anybody encountered such a problem?

Hi, I am trying to use templates recursively to define (at compile-time) a d-tuple of doubles. The code below compiles fine with Visual Studio 2010, but g++ fails and complains that it "cannot call constructor 'point<1::point' directly". Could anyone please shed some light on what is going on here?
