  • Create symbolic link to files on an FTP server

    - by Kevin Burke
I do a lot of work with files hosted on an FTP server. Currently to edit a file on the server I have to open the server in Cyberduck, navigate with the mouse to the folder I want and then click "Edit," which opens a temporary file. Anyway, editing files on the server would be way easier if I could use the terminal to navigate through the file directory and edit files. Is there a way to create a symbolic link in my home directory to an FTP server? edit: I'm on a Mac

  • FCBKcomplete, Create a new TAG with Commas as opposed to Enter

    - by nobosh
Currently, FCBKcomplete created new tags after you type something in and press enter. Is there a way to get the plug-in to allow for comma's (which is how tags are commonly separated) to create new tags? I'd hate to have to try to retrain users to user enter as opposed to the more standard comma separator. Plugin: http://www.emposha.com/javascript/fcbkcomplete.html Demo (use the second control): http://www.emposha.com/demo/fcbkcomplete_2/

  • WEBrick::HTTPStatus::LengthRequired error when accessing create method in controller

    - by Chris Bisignani
I have a very simple controller set up: class LibrariesController < ApplicationController ... def create @user.libraries << Library.new(params) @user.save render :json => "success!" end ... end Basically, whenever I try to access the create method of LibrariesController using HTTParty.post I get a WEBrick::HTTPStatus::LengthRequired error on the server. The method is not even being accessed! Here is the stack trace (this is the full output server side - notice that the controller isn't even being accessed): [2010-04-16 00:35:39] ERROR WEBrick::HTTPStatus::LengthRequired [2010-04-16 00:35:39] ERROR HTTPRequest#fixup: WEBrick::HTTPStatus::LengthRequired occured. - by EasyDot
Hello! Im trying to create a new ASP.NET website and add it to my subversion repository but it does not work because subversion only add the C:\Users\XXX\Documents\Visual Studio 2008\Projects\WebApplication1 folder and ignores the project files located in C:\Users\XXX\Documents\Visual Studio 2008\WebSites folder. Why can't I add a ASP.NET website to Subversion like WindowsFormsApplications? How shall i add a ASP.NET website to Subversion repository?

  • Program to create window transparency in XP

    - by sadmicrowave
I'm looking for a program to create window transparency within Windows XP; somewhat like Glass2K. I've used Glass2K and found it extremely processor intensive and would like to try something else. The application needs to act upon the current Windows Theme rather than be a theme itself like Aero Glass.

Is it possible to create an Excel document using VSTO, using a SharePoint contenttype? Creating a document in VSTO based on a template is easy. Workbook newWorkbook = this.Application.Workbooks.Add(@"C:\temp\TestTemplate.xltx"); But the "template" that's assigned to a content type in SharePoint has xlsx as an extension.

What is happening? Has Visual Studio GONE CRAZY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
