  I am getting the error TypeError: unsupported operand type(s) for +=: 'dict' and 'str' on this line of code : payload += "\x00" * (509 - len(payload)) the payload is: 'S\x96#:\x04\x04R\x1alD\x02\x04\x04V;\x15&\x06\x10 \x01' and what it should do is pad the payload until the length of the payload is 509 bytes long, but I do not understand this error, what does it mean and how can I solve it?

• Openlayers - Redraw() layer. Add / Remove layer.

  TLDR: I have an Openlayers map with a layer called 'track' I want to remove track and add track back in. I have an image 'imageFeature' on a layer that rotates on load to the direction being set. I want it to update this rotation that is set in 'styleMap' on a layer called 'tracking'. I set the var 'stylemap' to apply the external image & rotation. The 'imageFeature' is added to the layer at the coords specified. 'imageFeature' is removed. 'imageFeature' is added again in its new location. Rotation is not applied.. The image will move in coordinates as it should though. So what am I doing wrong with the redraw function or how can I get this image to rotate live? Thanks in advance -Ozaki Add: I managed to get map.layers[2].redraw(true); to sucessfully redraw layer 2. But it still does not update the rotation. I am thinking because the stylemap is updating. But it runs through the style map every n sec, but no updates to rotation and the variable for heading is updating correctly if i put a watch on it in firebug.

As 32-bit xp don't have RegGetValue function so I am trying to make use of RegQueryValueEX but I am having problem in passing arguments to this function. I think it should be used some thing like: uFuncReturnValue = RegQueryValueExA ( hRegistry, "\\DosDevices\\J:", NULL, NULL, (LPBYTE) &structVal, &dwSize ); But something is wrong here because the code compiles successfully but when I execute it I get a message: The program '(128) myProgram.exe: Native' has exited with code 1 (0x1). Can someone help me here please?

• Implementation of ZipCrypto / Zip 2.0 encryption in java

  I'm trying o implement the zipcrypto / zip 2.0 encryption algoritm to deal with encrypted zip files as discussed in http://www.pkware.com/documents/casestudies/APPNOTE.TXT I believe I've followed the specs but just can't seem to get it working. I'm fairly sure the issue has to do with my interpretation of the crc algorithm. The documentation states CRC-32: (4 bytes) The CRC-32 algorithm was generously contributed by David Schwaderer and can be found in his excellent book "C Programmers Guide to NetBIOS" published by Howard W. Sams & Co. Inc. The 'magic number' for the CRC is 0xdebb20e3. The proper CRC pre and post conditioning is used, meaning that the CRC register is pre-conditioned with all ones (a starting value of 0xffffffff) and the value is post-conditioned by taking the one's complement of the CRC residual. The solution that I have in my mind is doing the operation in O(n), the worst case since I am planning to do an inorder traversal of the entire tree. • NHibernate mapping with optimistic-lock="version" and dynamic-update="true" is generating invalid up

  I have an entity "Group" with an assigned ID which is added to an aggregate in order to persist it. This causes an issue because NHibernate can't tell if it is new or existing. To remedy this issue, I changed the mapping to make the Group entity use optimistic locking on a sql timestamp version column. This caused a new issue. Group has a bag of sub objects. So when NHibernate flushes a new group to the database, it first creates the Group record in the Groups table, then inserts each of the sub objects, then does an update of the Group records to update the timestamp value. However, the sql that is generated to complete the update is invalid when the mapping is both dynamic-update="true" and optimistic-lock="version".   I have built my own little custom XML-RPC server, and since I'd like to keep things simple, on both server and client side (server side PHP runs, by the way), what I would like to accomplish is to create a simplest possible client in C# using WCF. Let's say that Contract for service exposed via XML-RPC is as follows.   I am writing a tool where I need to reflect upon methods and if the parameters of the methods are complex type, then I need to certain type of actions such as instantiating them etc. Now I saw the IsPrimitive property in the Type variable. However, it shows string and decimal as complex types, which technically isn't incorrect. However what I really want is to be able to distinguish developer created class types from system defined data types. Is there any way that I can do this?

• MVC repository pattern design decision

  I have an asp .net MVC application and recently started implementing the repository pattern with a service validation layer, much like this. I've been creating one repository/service for each model that I create. Is this overkill? Instead, should I create one repository/service for each logical business area that provides CRUD for many different models? To me, it seems like I'm either cluttering the project tree with many files or cluttering a class with many methods. 6 one way half dozen the other. Can you think of any good arguments either way?

• Including an embedded framework using a cross-project-reference: Header no such file or directory

  I'm trying to create a Cocoa framework by using a cross-project reference in Xcode. I have 2 projects: one for the framework; one for the application that will use the framework. This framework is not intended to be stored within the system; it is an embedded framework that lives within the application bundle. I have successfully made the cross-project reference, marked the framework as being a dependency of my target, added a Copy Files build phase that puts the framework in Contents/Frameworks/ and added the framework to the linker phase (I checked the little "Target" checkbox; I've also done it manually by dragging the framework into the linker phase). My framework's install directory is correctly set to @executable_path/../Frameworks. However, when I try to build my app it: a) Correctly builds the framework first b) Correctly copies the framework c) Errors because it cannot find the master header file in my framework I have verified that the header is there. I can see it in the app product that is partially built. ls build/Debug/CioccolataTest.webapp/Contents/Frameworks/Cioccolata.framework/Headers/Cioccolata.h build/Debug/CioccolataTest.webapp/Contents/Frameworks/Cioccolata.framework/Headers/Cioccolata.h I have been able to successfully build the app by copying my framework into /Library/Frameworks (I can then delete it again after the successful build), but this is a workaround, I'm looking to find it out why Xcode doesn't find the framework's master header file without it being copied to a system directory. Is copying it to the app bundle during the build not sufficient? When a bad condition happens, it should output that the another user is locking this file or if nobody is locking, it should show "you are not locking this file message (file´s name)". The error happens when the file´s name has some latin character like "ç" and tortoise show me this in the output.   i'm using linq-to-sql and i'm use complied linq for better performance. I have a users table with a INT field called "LookingFor" that can have the following values.1,2,3,12,123,13,23. I wrote a query to return the users based on the "lookingFor" column i want to return all users that contains the "lookingFor" value (not only those equal to it). I can get everything installed smoothly but I can not get it to start. And now to start the server: service nginx start And this is where s#!+ hits the fan - Nada. I check to see if Nginx is running with service --status-all and its not. Also with nginx -V and its not installed??? I reboot the system too and still nothing. So I am not sure what is wrong here. The ini was copied over from the old server along with all the other config files after deleting the old files. When I opened the new compiled files, the nginx default data was present so I replaced them with my old original data prior to starting the new server for the first time. Also to be safe, I rm /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/default and symlinked with ln -s /etc/nginx/sites-available/default /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/default with no errors and I verified that the data was in the sites-enabled/default file. I don't think the server really/fully installed because of the nginx -V result: The program 'nginx' can be found in the following packages: * nginx-core * nginx-extras * nginx-full * nginx-light * nginx-naxsi Try: apt-get install <selected package> Do/should I apt-get install nginx-1.7.4 ?? Or what package do I use being that its a custom package and make install earlier did nothing?? If you need to see the conf files I copied over from the old to the custom server, LMK and I'll post them. Again your help here would be appreciated!

The user calling the function is a local admin and should be able to start a process with local system privilege. I also tried different combination but no luck. I would appreciate any help. Thanks

  I am trying to retrieve a group policy from a Windows Server 2008 Active Directory and change the minimum password age, maximum password age, and minimum password length in a C# application. Is there a way to do this? So far I have only found out how to create new Group Policy objects using Interop.GPMGMTLib (gpmgmt.dll), yet I haven't figured out how to change the policy's password rules and I am not sure if there is an easier way.
