    Hi, further to a previous question, I have this code: {textarea onblur="if(this.value=='') this.value='Skriv her';" onfocus="if(this.value=='Skriv her') this.value='';"} And I want the output to be <textarea onblur="if(this.value=='') this.value='Skriv her';" onfocus="if(this.value=='Skriv her') this.value='';">Write here!</textarea> I tried [/textarea} but it didn't work in my template file. Is it possible to make this in smarty/php? Thanks :)

  • Get back the default browser styling for input fields

    I need to style all the input fields but one. So i have set a rule for all the inputs on the site. For the seachfield i need to use the browser default, so i was thinking i could just inherit all the values i have set for the general input fields. (have tried border: none to) This does not work in FF nor Safari :( The border just gets transparent. http://jsfiddle.net/N5KKH/1/ Any idea how i could get the default browser styling back?     I want to create a banner scrolling function for my homepage. I am not too sure of which programming language to use here. I want to code something similar to: http://www.squidfaceandthemeddler.com/. But I want the footer to remain at the same position while the user scroll the table. Is it possible to get that result?     Why would someone use WHERE 1=1 AND <conditions> in a SQL clause (Either SQL obtained through concatenated strings, either view definition) I've seen somewhere that this would be used to protect against SQL Injection, but it seems very weird. If there is injection WHERE 1 = 1 AND injected OR 1=1 would have the same result as injected OR 1=1. Later edit: What about the usage in a view definition?

    Is it possible to add a function to a plugin without modifying the actual plugin? Can I do something like this in my site's js file? $.fn.Watermark.Refresh = function() { $.Watermark.HideAll(); $.Watermark.ShowAll(); } or (function($){ $.fn.Watermark.Refresh = function() { $.Watermark.HideAll(); $.Watermark.ShowAll(); }; })(jQuery); neither worked, the first says $ is undefined, the second that jQuery is undefined... ideas? Solution: Either method works, just include the jquery file before the site js file.

Say I have an image in my public folder and I have this in my page: <img src="/photos/category/img.jpg" /> Well that works, except when I'm at a URL with a controller like http://www.example.com/controller/action I can see why, but I want a good solution to properly creating these img src links that works across browsers.

    Hello friends, I have a JSP page on which I have a div tag in which there is a a IMG tag. Using this IMG tag I want to show an image in it. Here the source path of an image is comes from database so I assigned a JSP variable using JSP scriplet. This JSP variable have the source path of an image. This path of image may be of different machine or of same machine i.e. images are stored on different machine or on same machine i.e. on local machine on different drive. The problem is that how to give path of image stored on different machine as well as on same machine. I have tried different ways like by giving ip address of that machine. Here is the path that of local machine where the image is stored img src= file:\localhost\D:\ScannedSheets\testproj/batch1/IMG001.jpg style="z-index:1; position:absolute; top:0; left:0; width:850; height:1099" With this syntax the image is visible in Internet Explorer but With the same syntax Its not visible in FireFox, Google Chrome etc. Please Guide me in friends. Also tell me that how to give path of the image stored on different machine which works In Internet Explorer, FireFox, Google chrome etc.

  • Detecting file upload size on the client side?

    I'm using PHP for file uploads. In the PHP manual it shows an example using a MAX_FILE_SIZE hidden field, saying that it will detect on the client side (i.e. the browser) whether the file is too large or not. I've just tried the example in Firefox, Chrome and IE and it doesn't work. The file is always uploaded, even if it is way larger than the specified hidden field. Incidentally, if the file is larger than MAX_FILE_SIZE then calling move_uploaded_file doesn't work, so it seems the variable is having an effect server-side, but not client-side.

  • AutoComplete field and IE

    My web page does not have the autocomplete attribute that would tell browsers not to autocomplete the field. In spite of not having this attribute, IE 8 or Safari (not sure on other browsers) does not autocomplete the page. Autocomplete does work on some sites (such as Gmail) so I am assuming that the browser setting is not causing it? I know this code would work if it's triggered in the body onload attribute, but I'd like to avoid that method and implement it in a function or a file instead.

    Hello im developing some backends in ASP.NET 2.0 and i have put all the images in Cache, GZIPED my CSS, JS files and everything to speedup the load of each options. the performance its good and i have no problems with the clients but i want "MORE" fast loads and im looking for some recomendations. Is important to mention that those websites are using only in intranets so im thinking to implement my next projects using IFRAME for content that way (i think) the options will be loading faster because they not have to load the entire site. any help / recomendations? thanks in advance.

    I have an XML file with company data in it, for 30 companies across 8 industries, on a portfolio page. The user has the option to sort this data by Industry, and this XML file will be added to constantly. This sorting is done in my XSL file using <xsl:choose>. Example: <xsl:when test="(invest[@investid='con'])"> <xsl:for-each select="$invest-port/portfolio/company[@industry='Communications']"> <xsl:sort select="name" /> <div class="invest-port-thumb"> <a> <xsl:attribute name="href"> <xsl:value-of select="link" /> </xsl:attribute> </a> </div> </xsl:for-each> </xsl:when> When navigating to an individual company's page, there are "previous" and "next" buttons at the bottom of the window. My issue is that I need these to dynamically link to the previous and next elements from within the XML data that has been sorted. Is this possible? Or is there an easier way to do this? (such as place each company in industry-divided XML files instead of one) Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
