    I have setup a cron job to run a php file every 30 minutes, lynx -source public_html/scripts/file.php the result comes through to an email but seems to get this error Can't Access `file://localhost/home/username/public_html/scripts/file.php' Alert!: Unable to access document. lynx: Can't access startfile any advice would be much appreciated

    I have been using Flesigrid for my CMS and I like it except there are some things I think it could do better like get the column headers from the ajax results rather then in the setup of the flexigrid or having the ability to change the buttons on reload things of that nature. I've been considering a mod of the plugin though I'm not sure i really want to do that. But the question is ... is there something that might be better that I somehow missed when I was looking for grid display ?

    Here is the code I am using to setup the form: <% using (Ajax.BeginForm("SaveCroppedPhoto", new { Id = Model.memberId.GetValueOrDefault() }, new AjaxOptions { OnBegin = "ProfileOnBegin", OnComplete = "ProfileOnComplete", OnFailure = "ProfileOnFailure", OnSuccess = "ProfileOnSuccess" }, new { id = "cropPhotoForm" })) {%> My action result returns a json result as follow: return Json(new { success }); In IE8 when the action returns, it tries to download the result. The content type coming back is application/json. Anyone have any idea how to stop IE from trying to download the result?

    I am trying to setup my dev environment on my Mac (running Mac OS X 10.6) for my work's rails application.   • Doctrine-CLI database creation issue.

    I have Doctrine setup in my Zend Framework application and I built my schema YAML file. But when I tell Doctrine to build the tables it says it does but it doesn't actually make them. It creates the models, and will create the DB but it will not populate the DB with the tables and throws no errors. Does anyone have a guess or know why this is not working? Thank you.

Some ideas I've had Put it in APC with apc_store($page, 60*60*) - I feel this isn't what APC is for and will probably be doing something bad to the other parts of my site Save the output to a filesystem somewhere - Then apache needs write access somewhere which might be a pain Somehow setup apache to do the caching for me - Is this possible?

  • Visual Studio Generating Code in Release mode

    I am using Visual Studio to compile some C++ Code. When I compile my program in Debug mode it works perfectly, but when I try compiling it in Release mode, VS halts when Generating Code (ie: took 20 mins and still didn't finish). After I forced VS to stop the build process, the executable generated was huge 2MB while it should be about 304KB. Please can you help figure this out.     Hi everybody, In an application we are developpment, we are accessing Active Directory users and groups using the .Net DirectoryEntry and DirectorySearcher classes. Managing the test groups and users during development is getting tedious. I am wondering if there was an easy way to setup a simple local AD in which we could easily create / delete users and assign them or remove them from groups as we want with the DirectoryEntry / DirectorySearcher classes?     I'm running the latest Mercurial and Python 2.6; IIS6 is using the wildcard ISAPI method to attach the site to the Mecurial hgwebdir_wsgi [paths] \ = \\COMP3254\TestRepo\* [web] baseurl = / allow_push = * push_ssl = false style = monoblue The setup works perfectly if I reference the local drive E:\repo* but doesnt work if I specify the network as above; I've given the server (MERCDEV01$) full permissions on the shared folder on COMP3254, I can't think of any other reason it wouldn't work. Any ideas?

    Hi!, I have setup svnserve server (1.6.5,plain, without apache) on Fedora. I start the svnserve with the command 'svnserve -d --foreground --listen-port=3690 -r /usr/local/svn-repos/proj-test' When user trying to checkout working copy from the local machine with command 'svn checkout svn://127.0.0.1/proj-test' gets following error svn: URL 'svn://127.0.0.1/proj-test' doesn't exists but, 'svn checkout svn://localhost/proj-test' works. I am curious to know why using 127.0.0.1 with svn:// fails? Thanks. Banani

  • How is it that i am getting two different open ids for the same site for the same user

    I was under the impression that the open id for a user remains constant. I am allowing users to setup open id with my site with 2 different screens in my app... I was under the impression that the open id for a user is constant and will not change and I was planning to save it to my database for a given user, However, to my suprise, I found different ids for the same user using the same google account in the two different screens. How does open id actually work ?

  • apt-get commands pausing at 'Waiting for headers' [closed]

    I have a VM running Ubuntu Server 9.10 running a basic web server setup. Whenever I run an apt function it will pause for around 1 minute at 'Waiting for headers...'. It will eventually clear through and continue as normal but it is a bit of an annoyance. Everything else on the server seems to run fine. Any ideas?
