• Compare associations between domain objects in Grails

  I am not sure if I am going about this the best way, but I will try to explain what I am trying to do. I have the following domain classes class User { static hasMany = [goals: Goal] } So each User has a list of Goal objects. I want to be able to take an instance of User and return 5 Users with the highest number of matching Goal objects (with the instance) in their goals list. Can someone kindly explain how I might go about doing this?

• Keeping a certain row or column in an HTML table fixed

  I have huge amounts of data populating an HTML <table> having more than 200 rows and 200 columns. However, when i scroll the page horizontally or vertically to view the data, the header columns (like th for instance) go beyond the page. How can i scroll through the table and still keep the top row and leftmost column fixed so that i will always know what data im seeing.

It's like 1/6 of the screen on the right that makes anything over there impossible to see. If not, what would be the best programming language to go about making my own program?   Is this faster: $(document.links).filter('a.someClass') than just plain old this: $('a.someClass') ? I don't see anywhere in jQuery's code the utilization of document.links which gives you the collection of links on the document right away, than, it would seem, it would be faster to just filter in the collection instead of all the DOM nodes, which is alot more nodes to go over.

  I'm somewhat new to grails (not groovy though) and I'm working on a sample CRUD application. The issue I'm trying to solve is how to set a property on a bean based on a radio button before I update it in the database. Is the Form Helper http://www.grails.org/plugin/form-helper plugin the way to go? Will the bean have its value set regardless of if the button is actually clicked by the user or if it is left at its default value? thanks, Jeff

I've seen other answers and they all feature "include" - but this is not what I am wanting to achieve. I only want to exclude around 10-15 files from a "release" package ? The required behaviour is as follows: I have a link(with a ajax link embedded) xyz.com/admin#page1 When I go to the above page, I should be redirected to the login page, if I am not logged in. After I log in, I should be taken back to xyz.com/admin#page1 For this I need to store the url in session when I visit any page. The problem is that when I do request.uri, I get xyz.com/admin But I want to store xyz.com/admin#page1 Regards, Pankaj

  It is my understanding that currently if you use UIImagePicker to grab a photo, it passes back back a UIImage object which doesn't include any of the geotagging information.
