    On which event or how should I bind data to the dropdownlist to avoid selected value overridden?     Hi, In VS2003, I am trying to find out the particular page where the request is coming from. I want to identify the exact aspx page name. Is there a way to only get the page name or some how strip the page name? Currently I am using the following instruction... string referencepage = HttpContext.Current.Request.UrlReferrer.ToString(); and I get the following result... "http://localhost/MyPage123.aspx?myval1=3333&myval2=4444; I want to get the result back with out any query string parameters and be able to identify the page MyPage123.aspx accurately... How do I do that?? Thanks

    I have a controller with the following two Edit methods. The edit form displays correctly with all additional dropdown lists from the FormViewModel. However, when I changed some field values and submitted the form. None of the changed fields were saved. The fields in the postbask collection have default or null values. I have another edit form which update another table. On submit, the changed values are saved.     I made a test class against the repository methods shown below: public void AddFile<TFileType>(TFileType FileToAdd) where TFileType : File { try { _session.Save(FileToAdd); _session.Flush(); } catch (Exception e) { if (e.InnerException.Message.Contains("Violation of UNIQUE KEY")) throw new ArgumentException("Unique Name must be unique"); else throw e; } } public void RemoveFile(File FileToRemove) { _session.Delete(FileToRemove); _session.Flush(); } And the test class: try { Data.File crashFile = new Data.File(); crashFile.UniqueName = "NonUniqueFileNameTest"; crashFile.Extension = ".abc"; repo.AddFile(crashFile); Assert.Fail(); } catch (Exception e) { Assert.IsInstanceOfType(e, typeof(ArgumentException)); } // Clean up the file Data.File removeFile = repo.GetFiles().Where(f => f.UniqueName == "NonUniqueFileNameTest").FirstOrDefault(); repo.RemoveFile(removeFile); The test fails. When I step in to trace the problem, I found out that when I do the _session.flush() right after _session.delete(), it throws the exception, and if I look at the sql it does, it is actually submitting a "INSERT INTO" statement, which is exactly the sql that cause UNIQUE CONSTRAINT error. I tried to encapsulate both in transaction but still same problem happens. Anyone know the reason?
