• Form data sent to Node via Post is undefined

  I know this has been asked countless times on here, however I tried all the solutions and am still having the issue. Most people say to set the content-type (which I did) and to name the inputs that I wish to Post to node. I have done both of these things, yet still get "undefined" when trying to send data from an HTML form to node. • Syntax highlighting with Chili

  I want to use jquery Chili plugin for syntax highlighting a piece of code thats generated on the fly, but its not working for the same, because the code is inserted into the #output div on page load. • Dynamically inserted input elements not showing up in ActionResult's FormCollection parameter

  I am adding input elements to a view, dynamically, using JavaScript. But I am unable to find those inputs in my ActionResult's FormCollection parameter...: public ActionResult Del(FormCollection fc) I am able to find static input elements in the View. And using FireBug in Mozilla FireFox, I can see that the inputs are inside of the form element, in the DOM, and are not floating around somewhere random. How can I access these inputs?

• Git - git add in a gitignore directory

  If my .gitignore file has tmp\ in it and I do a git add file.test from tmp, Git adds file.test to the repository. If file.test never changes, than this is as good as a one time add to the repository, right? Say for static files that I want to be in version control. You want the file in an initial clone and that's it. I assume file.test doesn't get tracked, so if there are updates, Git doesn't see it as modified?

• Marshal.PtrToStructure (and back again) and generic solution for endianness swapping

  I have a system where a remote agent sends serialized structures (from and embedded C system) for me to read and store via IP/UDP. In some cases I need to send back the same structure types. I thought I had a nice setup using Marshal.PtrToStructure (receive) and Marshal.StructureToPtr (send). However, a small gotcha is that the network big endian integers need to be converted to my x86 little endian format to be used locally. When I'm sending them off again, big endian is the way to go.   I'd like to implement a custom command to capture a Backspace key gesture inside of a textbox, but I don't know how. I wrote a test program in order to understand what's going on, but the behaviour of the program is rather confusing. Basically, I just need to be able to handle the Backspace key gesture via wpf commands while keyboard focus is in the textbox, and without disrupting the normal behaviour of the Backspace key within the textbox. • PL/SQL pre-compile and Code Quality checks in an automatted build environment?

  We build software using Hudson and Maven. We have C#, java and last, but not least PL/SQL sources (sprocs, packages, DDL, crud) For C# and Java we do unit tests and code analysis, but we don't really know the health of our PL/SQL sources before we actually publish them to the target database. Requirements There are a couple of things we wan't to test in the following priority: Are the sources valid, hence "compilable"? For packages, with respect to a certain database, would they compile? Code Quality: Do we have code flaws like duplicates, too complex methods or other violations to a defined set of rules? Also, the tool must run head-less (commandline, ant, ...) we wan't to do analysis on a partial code base (changed sources only) Tools We did a little research and found the following tools that could potencially help: Cast Application Intelligence Platform (AIP): Seems to be a server that grasps information about "anything". Couldn't find a console version that would export in readable format. Toad for Oracle: The Professional version is said to include something called Xpert validates a set of rules against a code base. Sonar + PL/SQL-Plugin: Uses Toad for Oracle to display code-health the sonar-way. This is for browsing the current state of the code base. Semantic Designs DMSToolkit: Quite general analysis of source code base. Commandline available? Semantic Designs Clones Detector: Detects clones. But also via command line? Fortify Source Code Analyzer: Seems to be focussed on security issues. But maybe it is extensible? more... So far, Toad for Oracle together with Sonar seems to be an elegant solution. But may be we are missing something here? Any ideas? Other products? Experiences? • jQuery .ajax success function not rendering html with jQuery UI elements.

• Some more multitasking java issues

  I had a task to write simple game simulating two players picking up 1-3 matches one after another until the pile is gone. I managed to do it for computer choosing random value of matches but now I'd like to go further and allow humans to play the game. Here's what I already have : http://paste.pocoo.org/show/200660/ Class Player is a computer player, and PlayerMan should be human being. Problem is, that thread of PlayerMan should wait until proper value of matches is given but I cannot make it work this way. When I type the values it sometimes catches them and decrease amount of matches but that's not exactly what I was up to :) Logics is : I check the value of current player. If it corresponds to this of the thread currently active I use scanner to catch the amount of matches. Else I wait one second (I know it's kinda harsh solution, but I have no other idea how to do it). Class Shared keeps the value of current player, and also amount of matches. By the way, is there any way I can make Player and Shared attributes private instead of public and still make the code work ?
