• The iPhone “phone” doesn’t have the provisioning profile with which the application was signed.

  i have tried everything to fix this provision problem and nothing is working. ive reformated my mac, reinstalled the iphone, ive also dragged the provisions (developer and distribution) onto the organizer, itunes, and xcode. in itunes people say to drag the provisions to the iphone icon but that doesnt work its only able to go under library it shows a blue rectangle for me to drop it there. i just have a newly created dummy app with a 57x57 icon. ive also setup the project with the distribution thing with its distribution provision. when i build i get this: The iPhone “myphone” doesn’t have the provisioning profile with which the application was signed. Click “Install and Run” to install the provisioning profile “distribution” on “myphone” and continue running “helloworld.app”. and it has a button "install and run" ive clicked on that hundreths of times and nothing. in orgranizer i see a tab called console ive cleared it and rebuild the app and there is some output that i dont understand. I'm thinking its my problem whats it mean? • Adding a valuetype to IDL, compile and it fails with "No factory found"

  I can't figure out why the client keeps complaining about the not finding the factory method. I've tried the IDL with and without the "factory" keyword and that didn't change the behavior. The SDMGeoVT IDL matches other objects used (which run successfully). The SDMGeoVT classes generated match other generated classes in regards to inheritance and methods. The IDL is as follows; The idlj compiler runs w/o error. I implement the function on the server and I see the server code run and serialize the object over the wire (the server code runs fine). The client bombs with the following stack trace (the first couple of lines is from the jacORB library). I've created a small app just to compile and test the code (ArrayClient & ArrayServer). The base app (from the jacORB demo) works fine. In devices solic response and unsolic response is said as immediate response (like acknowledgement to commands) and late response (generated without any further commands being sent) respectively. Likewise can we say events as solic / unsolic based on immediate occurrence and late occurrence?

• Logvat viewer in Eclipse flickers annoyingly

  In the logcat viewer in Eclipse, if it is set to filter messages coming from the application I am currently debugging, the list flickers annoyingly. My guess that it reloads the list every time a log message arrives from my device, even if it is not displayed because of the filter. However, it makes reading log messages very hard. Is there any way to counter this bug? Or is there an alternate logcat viewer for Android?

• Cocoa NSOutputStream send to a connection

  Hi, I am new to Cocoa, but managed to get a connection (to a FTP) up and running, and I've set up an eventhandler for the NSInputStream iStream to alert every response (which also works). What I manage to get is simply the hello message and a connection timeout 60 sec, closing control connection. Should I open - write - close every time i want to write to oStream (and thus to the ftp) and can I then expect a reply (hasBytesAvailable event on iStream)? For some reason I find it very difficult to find any clear tutorials on this matter. Seems like there are more than a few in the same position as me: unclear how to use oStream write? Any little bit that can help clear this up is greatly appreciated! If needed I can write the rest of the code. Chuck

  We have been adding domains to our app without any issues for past couple months, following these instructions https://developers.google.com/appengine/articles/domains Since yesterday we have not been able to, when clicking Activate this service we get this error message "An error occurred while trying to install this application. Please try again later." We have tried this also with older domains and with different apps and getting the same error, so the problem seems to be more widespread, not isolated to particular domains / apps.   I want to downgrade to SL3 on my Mac after accidently installing SL4 Beta. I've tried the SL3 uninstall procedure: rm -rf /Library/Internet\ Plug-Ins/Silverlight.plugin rm -rf /Library/Receipts/Silverlight*.pkg rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/Microsoft/Silverlight But still get an error message when I try to install SL3 saying there is a newer version there.
