• Not able to recieve mails in my mailbox

  Hi, I've configured google apps (google services) to my domain for access mails some thing like mail.mysite.com. I've configured successfully all the accounts include admin and users also. But here the surprising thing is I cant able to receive any mails when i sent mails to [email protected]. But I can able to send mails from the same account ([email protected])to any other email ids. Anybody know the reason? I'm working on the same thing from the week. Thanks in advance

  hi, I've a dell studio 1555 bought on september with Windows 7 64bit Professional on it. Audio devide works proprerly, while listening/watching audio/video contents (from disk or internet) Using VoIP Program Ventrilo Audio from others people works good, and I hear their voices clearly... Using VoIP Program such as Teamspeak 2/3, MSN, Skype I hear a really disturbed voice, and it's impossible to comprehend somethings... Anyway I can say that the first week that I've bought and installed Win7 Skype worked good, this problem happened after I installed Ventrilo... • Is it possible to install Windows 8 on the SanDisk ReadyCache 32GB SSD drive?

  I bought the SanDisk ReadyCache 32GB SSD drive this week. I didn't know about the caching stuff and thought that I would be able to install Windows 8 on it. Now I'm using it as a cache drive with the ExpressCache software. But I wonder if it is possible to use this SSD as a primary system drive with an operating system installed on it. I've tried to format the disk via Windows Disc Manager Tool, but the format option is disabled. Only delete and information options are allowed. Can you help me with this?

• Is there a way to do 'correct' arithmetical rounding in .NET? / C#

  I'm trying to round a number to it's first decimal place and, considering the different MidpointRounding options, that seems to work well. A problem arises though when that number has sunsequent decimal places that would arithmetically affect the rounding. An example: With 0.1, 0.11..0.19 and 0.141..0.44 it works: Math.Round(0.1, 1) == 0.1 Math.Round(0.11, 1) == 0.1 Math.Round(0.14, 1) == 0.1 Math.Round(0.15, 1) == 0.2 Math.Round(0.141, 1) == 0.1 But with 0.141..0.149 it always returns 0.1, although 0.146..0.149 should round to 0.2: Math.Round(0.145, 1, MidpointRounding.AwayFromZero) == 0.1 Math.Round(0.146, 1, MidpointRounding.AwayFromZero) == 0.1 Math.Round(0.146, 1, MidpointRounding.ToEven) == 0.1 Math.Round(0.146M, 1, MidpointRounding.ToEven) == 0.1M Math.Round(0.146M, 1, MidpointRounding.AwayFromZero) == 0.1M I tried to come up with a function that addresses this problem, and it works well for this case, but of course it glamorously fails if you try to round i.e. 0.144449 to it's first decimal digit (which should be 0.2, but results 0.1.) • Trying to install Windows 7 on Samsung 530u3c. Laptop won't boot

  I just bought a Samsung 530u3c with Windows 8 installed,so it's a week old. From day one, I have wanted to revert back to Windows 7. So I have created a USB bootable drive with Windows 7 on, and tried installing it both on the SSD 24GB drive and the 465GB SATA HDD. The laptop will not boot from either drive. After trying to boot once, the laptop reboots and then presents me with a boot menu that only shows the SATA HDD. Selecting it does nothing. So I'm losing my mind here. I have absolutely no clue on how to solve this. I'm starting to think i just threw away 700 Euros... :( Any thoughts on what my next steps should be in troubleshooting the issue? Installation goes through without problems. All files are copied. By the time the laptop needs to restart, it goes into a boot loop.

• Is there a Standard or Best Practice for Perl Progams, as opposed to Perl Modules?

  I've written any number of perl modules in the past, and more than a few stand-alone perl programs, but I've never released a multi-file perl program into the wild before. I have a perl program that is almost at the beta stage and is going to be released open source. It requires a number of data files, as well as some external perl modules -- some I've written myself, and some from CPAN -- that I'll have to bundle with it so as to ensure that someone can just download my program and install it without worrying about hunting for obscure modules. So, it sounds to me like I need to write an installer to copy all the files to standard locations so that a user can easily install everything. The trouble is, I have no idea what the standard practice would be for this. I have found lots of tutorials on perl module standards, but none on perl program standards. Does anyone have any pointers to standard paths, installation proceedures, etc, for perl programs? This is going to be complicated by the fact that the program is multi-platform. I've been testing it in Linux, but its designed to work equally well in Windows.

We are using bind parameters to bind each sublist. However we still get error "could not execute native bulk manipulation query" How does one avoid the problem of limited parameters possible in IN query when parameters passed are more than 1000? regards Sameer

If not then a new objectcontext will be created. If I am passing an object context to it, then it is getting disposed after the method is done. I was expecting only "ctx" variable gets disposed. If I write a small app, to know the using and dispose mechanism. • MapKit custom annotations being added to map, but are not visible on the map

  I learned a lot from the screencast at http://icodeblog.com/2009/12/21/introduction-to-mapkit-in-iphone-os-3-0/ , and ive been trying to incorporate the way he creates a custom annotation into my iphone app. He is hardcoding annotations and adding them individually to the map, whereas i want to add them from my data source. So i have an array of objects with a lat and a lng (ive checked that the values are within range and ought to be appearing on the map) that i iterate through and do [mapView addAnnotation:truck] once this process is completed, i check the number of annotations on the map with [[mapView annotations] count] and its equal to the number it ought to be, so all the annotations are getting added onto the mapView, but for some reason I cant see any annotations in the simulator. I've compared my code with his in all the pertinent places many times, but nothing seems to stand out as being incorrect. Ive also reviewed my code for the last several hours trying to find a point where I do something wrong, but nothing is coming to mind. The images are named just as they are assigned in the custom AnnotationView, the loadAnnotation function is done properly, etc... i dont know what it could be. so i suppose if i could have the answer to one question it would be, what are possible causes for a mapView to contain several annotations, but to not show any on the map? The resultant code happily dealt with churning out 2000+ threads. Can anyone explain this behavior?

• Getting NFS clients to retry mount if NFS server down when client boots

  I have an NFS server that several clients mount. I am using the following in my /etc/exports on the server: /content *(rw,no_root_squash) and on the clients in my /etc/fstab I have: content.prd.domain.tld:/content /content nfs rw,hard,intr 0 0 If the clients boot while the NFS server is down, the share does not get mounted. I read in the NFS man page that the retry defaults should handle this: retry=n The number of minutes to retry an NFS mount operation in the foreground or background before giving up. The default value for forground mounts is 2 minutes. The default value for background mounts is 10000 minutes, which is roughly one week. I have tested this, but it doesn't appear to work. Am I missing something? All servers are RHEL 5.4. Cheers z0mbix

• Cannot select fields with the mouse Windows 7

  Lately I cannot select a word (field) with the mouse. When I left click on a field drag the mouse to the end of the field then release the button, the selection (blue shading) disappears. Sometimes after several tries the shading stays and I can delete the field. Up to a week ago everything worked fine. Is this a bug, virus? I am using Windows 7 Also, in Live Mail after I finished reading an item in the Inbox, I click the X in the upper right corner to return to the rest of my mail, but instead it takes me back to the desktop and have to double click the Live Mail again to continue. Again this only happened recently. Things worked OK before and this does not happen regularly.

• Scala Interpreter scala.tools.nsc.interpreter.IMain Memory leak

  I need to write a program using the scala interpreter to run scala code on the fly. The interpreter must be able to run an infinite amount of code without being restarted. I know that each time the method interpret() of the class scala.tools.nsc.interpreter.IMain is called, the request is stored, so the memory usage will keep going up forever. Here is the idea of what I would like to do: var interpreter = new IMain while (true) { interpreter.interpret(some code to be run on the fly) } If the method interpret() stores the request each time, is there a way to clear the buffer of stored requests? What I am trying to do now is to count the number of times the method interpret() is called then get a new instance of IMain when the number of times reaches 100, for instance. Here is my code: var interpreter = new IMain var counter = 0 while (true) { interpreter.interpret(some code to be run on the fly) counter = counter + 1 if (counter > 100) { interpreter = new IMain counter = 0 } } However, I still see that the memory usage is going up forever. It seems that the IMain instances are not garbage-collected by the JVM. Could somebody help me solve this issue? I really need to be able to keep my program running for a long time without restarting, but I cannot afford such a memory usage just for the scala interpreter. Thanks in advance, Pet

• Monitor flashes black when starting video files, opening folders with video files

  My entire monitor flashes black for a second or so when starting any video file. It does the same thing when closing the file. It also does this when opening a folder that has video files and a thumbnail view, or when I do anything that presumably accesses the video stream inside a video file. It happens in VLC and Windows Media Player, though it occurs to me certain video editors I have like avidemux and virtualdub don't have that issue when opening video files... It also does not happen when watching flash-based videos on web sites. It doesn't seem to happen when Quicktime. I went through and uninstalled any extraneous programs a week or so ago and didn't see any change. I also updated the graphics card driver. What can I do to troubleshoot/fix this?

• How can I open VLC via browser with PHP (Mac OS X)

  I'm trying to open VLC via browser and make it instantly play the given video file on Mac OS X. This runs on my local server and is only meant to run locally - therefore I already run apache (MAMP) with my username and with group "staff" (defined in httpd.conf). YES - I do know that VLC has http interface - however that is not what I need, so do not suggest that... My current system works without any problems when I run it via Terminal: php /var/www/Movies/index.php - This leads to VLC opening and video starts playing fullscreen like intented. Problems start when I run the same PHP-page with browser. Then the VLC-process starts, but there's no GUI for it, video file won't start playing and the VLC-process takes nearly 100% of CPU. Both; terminal and browser started VLC-processes run with the same user (mine) Both have "Parent process" bash VLC-process begun with Terminal has empty "Process group" (only process id-number) and browser started has "httpd" + (id-number) VLC-process started via browser makes 1000-times more "Mach System Calls" than it's Terminal-started counterpart. Could anyone give me any pointers on how to get this thing working? index.php # $j is a file path to the videofile and is defined before exec('/var/www/Movies/vlc.sh "' . $j . I'm not asking the community what the "best" backup software for Windows is, but instead: Is there any true Time Machine clone for Windows, one that includes as many of the following as possible: Completely transparent, "set-it-and-forget-it" backup Incremental backups (changes only) for every hour for a day, every day for a month, and every week until the backup disk is full Ability to rebuild from this backup disk in case of main drive meltdown (the backup doesn't have to be bootable; neither are Time Machine disks) Extremely easy to use UI (target user == wife). Bonus points for a beautiful UI

• Custom listbox sorting

  I need to sort the data contained within a number of listboxes. The user will be able to select between two different types of sorting using radio boxes, one of which is checked by default on form load. I have created the IF statements needed in order to test whether the checked condition is true for that radio button. but i need some help to create the custom sort algorithms. Each list with contain similar looking data, the only difference in the prefix with which each line starts. For example each line in the first listbox starts with the prefix "G30" and the second listbox will be "G31" and so on. There are 10 listboxes in total (G30-G39 in terms of prefixes). The first search algorithm has to sort the lines by the number order of the first 13 chars. Example: This is how the data looks before sorting G35:45:58:11 JG07 G35:45:20:41 JG01 G35:58:20:21 JG03 G35:66:22:20 JG05 G35:45:85:21 JG02 G35:64:56:11 JG03 G35:76:35:11 JG02 G35:77:97:12 JG03 G35:54:29:11 JG01 G35:55:51:20 JG01 G35:76:24:20 JG06 G35:76:55:11 JG01 and this is how it should look after sorting G35:45:20:41 JG01 G35:45:58:11 JG07 G35:45:85:21 JG02 G35:54:29:11 JG01 G35:55:51:20 JG01 G35:58:20:21 JG03 G35:64:56:11 JG03 G35:66:22:20 JG05 G35:76:24:20 JG06 G35:76:35:11 JG02 G35:76:55:11 JG01 G35:77:97:12 JG03 as you can see, the prefixes are the same. so it is sorted, lowest first, by the next pair integers, then the next pair and the next but not by the value after "JG". the second sort algorithm will ignore the first 13 chars and sort by order of the value after "JG", highest first. any help? theres some rep in it for you :) thanks in advance

• Generate colors between red and green for a power meter?

  I'm writing a java game and I want to implement a power meter for how hard you are going to shoot something. I need to write a function that takes a int between 0 - 100, and based on how high that number is, it will return a color between Green (0 on the power scale) and Red (100 on the power scale). Similar to how volume controls work: What operation do I need to do on the Red, Green, and Blue components of a color to generate the colors between Green and Red? So, I could run say, getColor(80) and it will return an orangish color (its values in R, G, B) or getColor(10) which will return a more Green/Yellow rgb value. I know I need to increase components of the R, G, B values for a new color, but I don't know specifically what goes up or down as the colors shift from Green-Red. Progress: I ended up using HSV/HSB color space because I liked the gradiant better (no dark browns in the middle). • Alerting for incorrect cell values

  My problem: I have two ranges R16 and R01. These ranges were set up by swiping each range and then renaming them in the upper left panel of the sheet. Each range requires users to fill in each cell with a value. R16 requires users to enter a number of 0 through 5. The range R01 requires a value of 0 or 1 to be entered. NO cell can be left blank in any cell within these two ranges. These ranges and requirements are specific to this sheet only. It would be nice if at the time of user entering a number, an error message appeared like [invalid entry] if the value inputted was outside parameters set. For example, in R16, if someone entered 12 or -1 they would be alerted. Finally when the user presses a button on the page to use these values in a separate process, it is essential to check that no cell is left blank. I am trying to find a way to halt the running of the marco (via the button) if these parameters above are not met. Thank you

• How to boot windows 8 in a dual boot along with windows 7? [migrated]

  I have installed a WIndows 8 evaluation about a week ago. Usually, it asks me every time I turn on my computer whether to boot into windows 8 or windows 7. The default was windows 8 after 30 seconds. I changed that just yesterday to be default windows 7 after 5 seconds. And after I changed the setting, I went ahead and went into windows 8 and did my work. Today, when I turned on my computer, it is failing to ask me which one to boot it in. It simply boots directly into Windows 7. Is there any reason for this? Can I no longer boot into Windows 8?
