Hello, I have two wifi cards and two separated internet connections.
I connect to the Internet with both of them but one does all of the internet transactions (and I have not seen any place where I can specify which one I would prefer to use!)
What I would like to do is use one of them for the browser and skype only, and the other one for stock exchange software for instance.
Any idea if it is possible?

I use Firefox as my browser of choice but my computer came with Internet Explorer pre-installed.
Is it safe to remove Internet Explorer from my computer completely or will this cause any problems?
All the Drupal documentation I can find has a step of "going to a browser and continuing installation there".
How can I perform these steps from my command line?
I am trying to have a site where I can fire up an AWS instance and install Drupal etc by command line.
Thanks!
I have a dev server for my C# Web Application and to access the dev site I go to the server name in my browser (lfi-fsxmv06) and I can access my web application. Now I want to set up a subdomain of that (test.lfi-fsxmv06) is this possible?
My bindings on the dev site (lfi-fsxmv06) are http with port 80 and ip address *, and the hostname is blank.
My bindings on the subdomain site are http, port 80, IP adddress *, and the hostname is test.lfi-fsxmv06 however if I try t
People who use OpenDNS and go to a non-existing domain are getting a nice fancy search page telling them that the domain doesn't exists instead of the browser error page.
here in my home network we have a win 2008-r2 server with the dns role enabled. Is there any way to make my own fancy looking error page to show up at all computers when they enter a domain not found by the local dns server and the Forwarders / root hints servers?
-- David,
I had many programs opened and was typing a message in my web browser and suddenly a window asking me something popped up. I think I was in the middle of typing the word "for" but whatever button I hit seemed to be the confirmation to shutdown the computer. Is there a way to find which program caused this and prevent it in the future? I have a hunch it was JDownloaders fault.
I'm using Windows 7.
Hi
I lost some notes and i have about 40 minutes before my pc will restart.
I know it might be imposible but anyway maybe i will learn something.
So the question goes:
Is there a RAM trace left by keyboard input that could be recovered in 40 minutes or less.

Since I am not familiar with php and mysql please tell me how to do it in simple way.
I've setup extension mobility to the best of my ability, however, it its perplexing me...
From the materials I've been reading I have established I need to have the following URL in place: http://IP/emapp/EmAppServlet?device=#DEVICENAME#
If I try and browse to this in a web browser I can a blankHTML page.
When my registered phone (CIPC) presses Services - Extension Mobility, it just sits there / delivers a blank page.
I figure this isn't coincidence... Any ideas?
On my notebook i use IE 8.0 ,Firefox , Google Chrome and Opera and I want any free application that tell me the full history of all sites I visit through any browser ?
On a old machine (512 MB RAM) I am currently running ubuntu jaunty and firefox 3.0.15. I tried the ad blocker addon add block plus but it eats lots of RAM (300 MB).
Is high memory load of this add-on a bug, which is fixed in a newer version or just normal? If so, why is the memory usage so high?
Is there another ad blocker add-on for firefox or another browser- add-on combination for linux (ubuntu jaunty) which uses significant less RAM?
We used to be able to add a custom search provider in Internet Explorer to search any site that put search words in the query string (such as in StackExchange sites). The page where that it was done was
http://www.ieaddons.com/gb/createsearch.aspx
However, this page now redirects to a generic IE Gallery page.
When I upgraded from IE8 to IE9, my StackOverflow provider carried over, but I recently reset my browser settings and am not able to get it back.
Can we easily create a custom search provider?
Evernote, Dropbox, Xmarks and what not. Many know these but is there a software that can synchronize clipboard between devices? For what you might be asking? Here is for what:
Sometimes I want URL that I see on my desktop/laptop computer to enter into laptop's/smartphone's browser but unless I save that URL to .TXT file, email URL or save to Evernote there is no other way to directly do that.
So is there such software already?
Within the last week, whenever I go to save a file from the internet when I save to "Documents" it doesn't show just what is in My Documents at the higher level, it shows all the contents of every sub-folder.
I haven't changed any settings- how can I get this back to normal (so that files of sub-folders are not shown when saving)?
I tried with both Chrome and IE so it's not the browser doing it.
The problem seems to only happen with My Documents, no other folders like Downloads etc.
I created a couple of rooms in Exchange 2007 (http://www.msexchange.org/articles_tutorials/exchange-server-2007/management-administration/managing-resource-mailboxes-exchange-server-2007-part1.html)and I want to logon to OWA to manage resource settings but I can't logon to the mailboxes via OWA because of an invalid password error. I've reset it but still no luck. I've granted myself full permissions to the mailbox and try to access via my account but I just get a popup of my own account in the browser (ie9 and ie8).
What's going on here?
This is a question to enhance the feature on Windows 7, where you drag the screen to one side and it docks to that side of the screen.
Is there a way to have it so when I load a program, it knows that I always like it docked on the right side, so it just loads on the right side? And I don't have to drag it to the right.
It will be done for Internet Explorer, so, if there is no setting on the Shortcut for this, can it be programmed into the browser?
For some reason I can't access anything on python.org. nslookup resolves the IP address, but no browser or curl command will fetch anything. It works fine on a VMWare Ubuntu virtual machine and on a Windows machine on the same network. I've checked there's nothing funny in /etc/hosts
I don't know where else to go looking for issues, can anyone suggest anything?
Running OS X 10.5 Leopard
I'm running Win7 in Parallels 5 and have a five button USB mouse (Microsoft Intellimouse).
I have my mouse's side buttons mapped to the Forward and Back (browser) commands. However, Parallel's Mouse Synchronization Service seems to be intercepting the mouse keypress event for these two buttons, and remapping them to the Windows Start Menu command.
Any way to undo this? i.e. get my Back/Forward buttons working again?
I'm running ubuntu server and have apache installed as a web server. I'm letting my web developers upload files through sftp (ssh) to /var/www. I'm using www-data group to control access to /var/www folder. They are able to upload the files successfully but when they try to access that file in a browser, they get a 403 forbidden error.
How do I make sure that when the files are uploaded, the permissions are set right?
I've got a pile of .swf files here that are static animations, and I'd like to find some way of playing them at half or quarter speed. Preferably one that doesn't rely on exploiting sloppy browser/antivirus software processor usage.
Is there some sort of Windows-compatible Flash player with this functionality? Preferably open source?
I'm trying to install vim via MacPorts. I found this port at http://trac.macports.org/browser/trunk/dports/editors/vim/Portfile.
There are variants like tiny, small and huge. Is there any way to tell
which variant installs what features?
