  • Enabling SSL Requests on Jdev's Integrated Weblogic

    Often times you will want to enable SSL access for such things as secure login or secure signup. By default, the integrated WLS that ships with JDev does not listen to SSL requests. However, this is easily fixed.Just navigate to http://127.0.0.1:7101/console. This will deploy the console app where you can configure WLS. By default the login credentials are:username: weblogicpassword: weblogic1Then go to Environment -> Servers -> DefaultServer. Check the "SSL Listen Port Enabled" box and your server will now listen to SSL requests (just make sure to use the listen port that is specified).For added security, you can always check while processing your request that it is going through an SSL connection by first checking HttpServletRequest.isSecure().

    Hi What was that "wpf trigger events after a few Milli-seconds" ;) Let me explain about that: I have a wpf form with few controls. some of these control over-writing template. for example a textblock with an effect will be trigger on Mouse-Enter event and change color of foreground to something else. But after running program when mouse enter on textBloc, it takes a few Milli-seconds until Mouse-enter event triggers. also all control or better say all control which use mouse-events have this problem. How solve this problem???

    Hi I am using Ajaxy Call to load the partial view. It is working fine in Firefox and IE without in Debug Mode.     I have a field in a form to state the time duration of an event. Say, the event is to last 15 mins. So the field will have the following value: 00:15 If it is to last 1 hour: 01:00, etc. How can I create a Joda Duration object with the string "HH:MM"? Looking at Joda Time home page, it mentions that it is possible to create a Duration object from specified object using ConverterManager and DurationConverter respectively. My question is, how can I implement the above interfaces so that I can create a Duration object by passing the a "4:30" parameter? Thanks in advance, Lucas

  • C or assembly code to find current cpu core speed

    How can my application efficiently determine the following information peroidically while it executes: 1: current speed of each of the 8 CPU cores. 2: which core the code is currently executing on. My application is C and assembly-language, so any solution in either C or assembly-language is fine. This code needs to execute quickly, so creating, reading and processing a file generated by "cat /proc/cpuinfo" is much too slow. The cores slow-down and speed-up automatically, probably to keep CPU temperature under control. Therefore, a one-time measure is not sufficient for my purposes. My application already reads and subtracts the cpu cycle counter in assembly language to determine number of clock cycles, but my program cannot compute elapsed time in nanoseconds unless it knows the current clock frequency of the cpu cores (and which core the code is executing on). Now I'd like to expand / collapse the groups with a single mouse-click (not with a double click as the default behaviour).     Hey, I'm new to silverlight and wpf programming I've just created a simple storyboard in silverlight which increases height and width of a button. But now I wanted to use the same functionality in WPF. But the problem I faced is that in WPF button click event handler I can't access the Storyboard1 object.   • How to recover unavailable memory in /dev/shm

    Good day to all, I have a question regarding the use of /dev/shm. I use it as a temporary folder for large files to speed up processing and save IO off the HD. My problem is that some of my scripts sometimes require "forceful" interruption for a variety of reasons. I can then manually remove the files left over in /dev/shm but the memory is not returned to available space (as seen by df -h). Is there any way to recover the memory without restarting the system? I'm using LTS12.04 and most of the scripts are PERL running system call on C programs (bioinformatics tools). Thanks.

  • How Do I Detect A WordPress Admin Panel in my Plugin?

    I've got two events in my plugin. One is run for the front-end. The other is run for the admin panel. Both call the same function in one particular situation, and this echoes stuff to the screen. How do I make it such that the function is smart, calls something in WordPress, and detects whether it's being loaded in the front-end versus the admin panel? I don't want it to echo stuff to the screen on the front-end, but do want it to do so on the admin panel. Right now, it's echoing on both, which is not what I want. Background For the front end (the side of the site that the visitor sees), I'm intercepting the 'wp' event and checking for: ( is_single() || is_page() || is_home() || is_archive() || is_category() || is_tag()) For the admin panel, I'm intercepting the 'admin_menu' event. I tried intercepting the is_*() stuff above, but it seems to somehow answer TRUE or something, not giving me a difference between front-end and admin panel.

    Hey all I have this code where I am using jQuery to navigate to the next page, because I want some effects to take place before that happens. The problem is, that everything after the prevent.Default(); doesn't seem to work! $("a").click(function(event){ event.preventDefault(); $(".content-center").animate({height: "0px"}, 500); navigate($(this).attr('href')); }); I need things to happen in that order, so that the animation happens and once it's complete - load the next page...   • Calling activateWindow on QDialog sends window to background

    I am debugging certain application written with C++/Qt4. On Linux it has problems that with certain window managers (gnome-wm/metacity), the main window (based on QDialog) is created in the background (it's not raised). I managed to re-create the scenario using PyQt4 and following code: from PyQt4.QtCore import * from PyQt4.QtGui import * import sys class PinDialog(QDialog): def showEvent(self, event): QDialog.showEvent(self, event) self.raise_() self.activateWindow() if __name__ == "__main__": app = QApplication(sys.argv) widget = PinDialog() app.setActiveWindow(widget) widget.exec_() sys.exit(0) If I remove self.activateWindow() the application works as expected. This seems wrong, since documentation for activateWindow does not specify any conditions under which something like this could happen. My question is: Is there any reason to have activateWindow in showEvent in the first place? If there is some reason, what would be good workaround for focusing issues?

    I am attaching handlers to the KeyDown and KeyUp events of a Silverlight 3 TextBox as so: _masterTextBox.KeyDown += (s, args) => { CheckForUserEnteredText(MasterTextBox.Text); args.Handled = false; }; _masterTextBox.KeyUp += (s, args) => { UpdateText(MasterTextBox.Text); }; When I comment out the KeyDown handler, then the KeyUp will trap the event, otherwise, only the KeyDown handler is triggered. Can someone explain why the KeyUp event handler is not firing after the KeyDown handler does? Thanks.

  • Winforms web browser control not firing document complete with AJAX web site.

    The VB.Net desktop app uses the IE browser control to navigate the web. When a normal page loads the document_complete event fires and I can read the resulting page and go from there. The issue I am having is that the page I am driving is written with AJAX, so the document complete event never fires. Furthermore, when you view the source of the page after it loaded a new portion via AJAX, it hasn't change. How are people handling this? What are my options?

    I have a website, in which users can upload mp3 files (uploadify), stream them using an html5 player (jplayer) and download them using a php script (www.zubrag.com/scripts/). When a user uploads a song, the path to the audio file is saved in the database and i'm using that data in order to play and show a download link for the song. The problem that i'm experiencing is that, according to my host, this method is using a lot of memory on the server, which is dedicated.   • redoing object model construction to fit with asynchronous data fetching

    I have a modeled a set of objects that correspond with some real world concepts. TradeDrug, GenericDrug, TradePackage, DrugForm Underlying the simple object model I am trying to provide is a complex medical terminology that uses numeric codes to represent relationships and concepts, all accessible via a REST service - I am trying to hide away some of that complexity with an object wrapper. To give a concrete example I can call TradeDrug d = Searcher.FindTradeDrug("Zoloft") or TradeDrug d = new TradeDrug(34) where 34 might be the code for Zoloft. This will consult a remote server to find out some details about Zoloft. I might then call GenericDrug generic = d.EquivalentGeneric() System.Out.WriteLine(generic.ActiveIngredient().Name) in order to get back the generic drug sertraline as an object (again via a background REST call to the remote server that has all these drug details), and then perhaps find its ingredient. This model works fine and is being used in some applications that involve data processing. Recently however I wanted to do a silverlight application that used and displayed these objects. The silverlight environment only allows asynchronous REST/web service calls. I have no problems with how to make the asychhronous calls - but I am having trouble with what the design should be for my object construction. Currently the constructors for my objects do some REST calls sychronously. public TradeDrug(int code) { form = restclient.FetchForm(code) name = restclient.FetchName(code) etc.. } If I have to use async 'events' or 'actions' in order to use the Silverlight web client (I know silverlight can be forced to be a synchronous client but I am interested in asychronous approaches), does anyone have an guidance or best practice for how to structure my objects. I can pass in an action callback to the constructor public TradeDrug(int code, Action<TradeDrug> constructCompleted) { } but this then allows the user to have a TradeDrug object instance before what I want to construct is actually finished. It also doesn't support an 'event' async pattern because the object doesn't exist to add the event to until it is constructed. Extending that approach might be a factory object that itself has an asynchronous interface to objects factory.GetTradeDrugAsync(code, completedaction) or with a GetTradeDrugCompleted event? Does anyone have any recommendations?
