  • Change windows default path or last used path for saving files? Is that possible?

    I'm trying to change the default saving path to my specfied path for example if the file is picture (.jpg .gif etc..) and using google chrome I save an image the path can be anything from default or last used so I want it to be mine specfied for example I choose "C:\SaveHerePics" I don't know how you can change it maybe Registry? Dll? I would like to create vb.net program with textbox you choose the new location to be located every time for example "C:\SaveHerePics" and it should not have anything to do with this program even if you close the program the default location for pictures saved via any program or source saved to "C:\SaveHerePics" Thanks a lot for your help!

    I have an InfoPath 2007 browser-enabled form that has a datasource with three columns, let's say columns A, B, and C. I have a dropdown that is keyed to column A and displays column B. Column C contains some data that I want to display in an expression box, and that I also want to use in some data validation against another field on the form. I think, it would be a cookie stored on user's browser. But, if it is a cookie, how different domains are able to read this cookie. What do you say.

  • Cannot open some websites

    Hi all, I have a very specific problem. We have a wifi router at home which supports three laptops and a desktop. For the past month or so, I've been unable to open a number of websites on our HP desktop, Dell laptop and my Macbook. These include everything connected with http://wordpress.org and several others. The page simply refuses to load. I can't access some other websites as well. I've tried everything. We've rebooted the router, deleted all the cookies/download history, but nothing works. I've tried accessing these websites on IE, Chrome, Firefox and Safari. Strangely, when friends use their laptops on the same wifi connection, the websites open just fine. What do I do? I'm getting desperate here. Jayashree

If any user seen the movie and if goes to any other page or refresh(F5) and then come back on the animation page then animation should not play from start. I want to play it from another frame.   • Websites not working with Opera 11.00, major bugs

    Sites like ebay and even superuser stop working properly when I use opera 11.00. Menus stop working everywhere from ebay to godaddy. Hovering on a menu item doesn't expand it, no sub menu slides out. This makes a large number of very popular websites unusable. Am I right in assuming this is a javascript issue? I use opera for the turbo feature (I have tested opera with and without turbo so it's not turbo's fault) because I'm on mobile broadband until I get my phone line sorted out. Turbo helps me save money, as well as allowing me to surf at a sane speed. Is there a firefox or chrome equivalent to opera turbo that doesn't cost money? I'm using Opera 11.00, build 1156.

    I have some JQuery code that shows or hides a div. $("div#extraControls").show(); // OR .hide() I initially want the div to be not visible so I used: $(document).ready(function() { $("div#extraControls").hide(); }); However, on the browser, the content loads visible for a second before disappearing, which is not what I want. How do I set the hide the element before the page loads whilst keeping the ability to show hide it dynamically with a script?

    I have a PHP script that I don't want anyone to be able to run through their browser. It sends emails and is called via curl by my server's cron, yet needs to be in the public www directory.
