  var resolver = new AutofacWebApiDependencyResolver(container); configuration.ServiceResolver.SetResolver(resolver); after updating to ASP.NET MVC4 (RC) I get the following error: 'System.Web.Http.HttpConfiguration' does not contain a definition for 'ServiceResolver' and no extension method 'ServiceResolver' accepting a first argument of type 'System.Web.Http.HttpConfiguration' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) I realize after reading this (http://www.asp.net/web-api/overview/extensibility/using-the-web-api-dependency-resolver) that these interfaces have changed, but I am not sure how to apply this change to how I use Autofac. Do i need to wait for a new release from Autofac or is there another way I can get past this.

  Hello all, I'm using C#/.NET with the C# wrapper for SQLite. I'm attempting to merge two SQLite databases together while excluding duplicates. • Optimistic non-locking copy of InnoDB .frm files

  MySQL Enterprise Backup(MEB) does hot backup of innodb data and log files. Till MEB 3.6.1, the user backs up the only innodb tables in a 3 step process: STEP 1. Take backup using --only-innodb option STEP 2. Temporarily make the table read only by executing “FLUSH TABLES WITH READ LOCK” MEB 3.7.0 has an enhancement to innodb file copying. The .frm files gets copied along with the hot backup done for innodb files. I would like to make the blog a little interactive by explaining the feature as answers: 1. What are these .frm files? The files containing the metadata, such as the table definition, of a MySQL table. For backups, the full set of .frm files are always required along with the backup data, to be able to restore tables that are altered or dropped after the backup. 2. Can the .frm files not be copied by MEB itself? --only-innodb-with-frm is the new option introduced in MEB 3.7.1 to do a copy of .frm files without locking the tables during backup operation itself. This is to reduce the pain of manually copying the .frm files. The option is intended for backups where you can ensure that no ALTER TABLE, CREATE TABLE, DROP TABLE, or other DDL statements modify the .frm files for InnoDB tables during the backup operation. 3. How is data consistency ensured? MEB does validation of the .frm files after copying by comparing with the server directory to see if the timestamps of any of the .frm files is greater than the saved system time (check .frm time).  This change in timestamp of the .frm files will show if a table is altered during the process of backup. The total number of frm files in the server directory is also verified against the copied contents. If the number of .frm files is less compared to server directory, it shows that table/tables have been dropped during the process of backup. If the number of .frm files is more compared to server directory, it shows that new table/tables have been created during backup operation. 4. How does MEB handle data inconsistency? MEB copies the .frm files through several iterations,  does the validation and throws a WARNING if there is any inconsistency found in .frm files at the end of backup operation. This means the user is warned of some DDL operations that had occurred during backup operation, and has to manually copy the .frm files or do a backup again. 5. What is the option and explain its usage? The option introduced is --only-innodb-with-frm which does optimistic copy of .frm files without locking. This can be used when the user wants to backup only innodb tables along with .frm files. The option can take one of the 2 values: all | related. --only-innodb-with-frm=all does copy of all .frm files of all innodb tables. --only-innodb-with-frm=related works in conjunction with --include option.This is to allow partial backup of .frm files corresponding to the tables specified in --include. • Redmine connecting to SVN through SSL

  I am having trouble connecting Redmine to a locally hosted subversion repository using SSL. I suspect it's the self-signed certificate that usually triggers a warning in the SVN client and browser. When I try to connect to the local repo through SSL in Redmine, I get a red "Revision not available" error. When I try connecting through svn://, the connection times out, and I have to restart the web server. Connecting without SSL works without problems. It would be nice to run subversion on SSL to make it safely accessible from the outside as well. I could run the repository through plain HTTP but would like SSL for outside communication. As far as I understand, subversion can't be run both ways at the same time. Does anybody know what to do in such a situation? Is there a configuration setting to ignore invalid certificates somewhere?

  hi all friends I meet a problem yestoday...maybe it's becoz it is april 1st... but it did exist. here i begin clarifying: i have 3 pcs in remote area..2 clients and 1 oracle server.. my app is running seperately in the two clients hourly connecting to the oracles,,my clients worked well be4 April 1th, but suddenly my app in the clients mechines went down...first i did not change any configurations.... i used libsqlora8 to connect the server...I went into a dead loop in the library...I tried sqlplus, but it dead there in my shell terminal, like it meets a infinite loop....no return until i pressed ctrl + c, the reason i guess is "infinite loop" somewhere..... btw, when i used my local pc to connect the server, it worked well...just from this phenomenon, wen can see the is problems lie in the client mechines..and i check the configuration file both in local mechine and client mechines..they are identical have you met a problem like this.... I dont hope it's frank of April 1st

• Seam cache provider with ehcache null

  Hi every one, I'm trying to configure seam/ehcache following the tutorial from jboss page: http://docs.jboss.org/seam/2.1.2/reference/en-US/html/cache.html I put the ehcache.1.2.3.jar in project.ear/lib and injected CacheProvider as especified, but the CacheProvider always return null. The documentation doesn't show any aditional configuration for ehcache, just for jboss cache. • Is it possible to configure a location in Web.config to only allow local connections

  Hi All, I've got a page in an ASP.Net app (its Mvc actually but not important) and I would like to only allow connections to this page from the local machine. I would love to do something like this in Web.config: <location path="resources"><system.web><authorization><allow ips="local"/></authorization></system.web></location> I know this is possible with a simple check in the page code behind (or controller) and its even possible just with IIS configuration but I would love a Web.config config as this would be the most elegant solution in my opinion.   I have a php account with my provider, and I also have cpanel installed for me. I currently have two drupal sites there, let's called the main myMainSite and another one under construction called myNewSite. So when I go to www.myMainSite.com, I go to the main site. When I go to myNewSite.myMainSite.com, i go to the drupal site that is under construction. My question is, when my under construction site goes live, I want that all users that go to www.myMainSite.com see the new site (the one that is under myNewSite.myMainSite.com). How can I accomplish this with cpanel? is it within the "addon domains" configuration? I don't want a redirect that changes the address bar, ie, I want to keep the original url.

• Tomcat blankpage for default error page

  First off, I'm using Tomcat 5.5 and my .jsp's live in /webapps/foo/bar/*.jsp. I followed the directions here to set up a default 404 error page. In my TOMCAT_HOME/conf/web.xml I entered: <error-page> <error-code>404</error-code> <location>/error.html</location> </error-page> I dropped copies of a test error.html file into each of the dirs (I wasn't sure where /error.html was referring to): /webapps/ /webapps/foo/ /webapps/foo/bar/ Whenever I attempt to access a non-existent page in a browser at url's /foo/missingpage.html or /foo/bar/missingpage.html I'm redirected to my error page that exists in /foo/error.html. However, attempting to access a non-existent page in a browser at url /missingpage.html yields a blankpage. Or any permutation of /missingDir/missingfile.html will also yield a blank page. Any suggestions? Am I missing some extra configuration? Thanks PR

• In OpenRasta is it possible to Pattern match multiple key/value pairs?

  Is it possible in OpenRasta to have a Uri pattern that allows for an array of values of the same key to be submitted and mapped to a handler method accepting an array of the query parameters. Example: Return all the contacts named Dave Smith from a collection. HTTP GET /contacts?filterBy=first&filterValue=Dave&filterBy=last&filterValue=Smith With a configuration of: What syntax would be best for the Uri string pattern matching? • Django, Redirecting staff from login to the admin site.

  So my site basically has 2 kinds of ways to login, one of them is for the common users, who get the regular screen that asks them for username and password, the other way its for staff. The staff login should redirect them to the admin site after logging in, but for some reason the redirect doesnt happen, it stays on the same login page. I use this condition on the login view. if user is not None and user.is_active and user.is_staff: auth.login(request,user) return HttpResponseRedirect("/admin/") The admin site its up and running in my url configuration and everything, but i dont know if this is the correct way to redirect to the admin site already on session. • Discover the environment and relative path of the running application

  Hi, While playing with RubyCocoa, I keep progressing with my idea for my application. Because my application will be going to use configuration files, I would like to know how I discover the relative path to store these inside my application structure (or if a better idea emerges, please elaborate also the "why"). Also good for me to know is to discover environment variables, such as operating system version, the amount of memory that is available and such. Hyperlinks would be awesome too. • Minimum Hardware requirements for Android development

  I need information about minimum hardware requirement I need to have better experience in developing Android application. My current configuration is as follows. P4 3.0 GHz, 512 MB of ram. Started with Hello Android development on my machine and experience was sluggish, was using Eclipse Helios for development. Emulator used to take lot of time to start. And running program too. Do I need to upgrade my machine for the development purpose or is there anything else I am missing on my machine(like heavy processing by some other application I might have installed). And If I do need to upgrade, do I need to upgrade my processor too(that counts to new machine actually, which I am not in favor of), or only upgrading RAM will suffice.

• skip-limit ignored for skippable exception thrown from writer

  i am working on a project with spring batch 2.0.2 and have skippable exception set up in the config. for exceptions thrown from the processor everything works fine. it skips and once the limit is execeed the job fails (or stops). for exceptions thrown from the writer (same chunk) it keeps skipping. the skip-limit doesnt seem to matter. maybe i missunderstood and skipping and writer don't go together or maybe i am missing a configuration. does anyone know how to skip issues - with a limit - within the writer properly?

• unit test service layer - NUnit, NHibernate

  Hi, I would like to unit test a DEPENDENT service layer which allows me to perform CRUD operation without mocking using NUnit. I know this is probably bad practice but I want to give it a try anyway - even if the tests have to run over night. My data is persisted using NHibernate and I have implemented a little library that 'bootstraps' the database which I could use in a [Setup] method. I am just wondering if someone has done something similar and what the fastest method for bootstrapping the database is. I am using something like this: var cfg = new Configuration(); cfg.Configure(); cfg.AddAssembly("Bla"); new SchemaExport(cfg).Execute(false, true, false); to establish the db schema. After that I populate some lookup tables from some Excel tables. Any feedback would be very much appreciated. Thanks. Christian

• Namespace Autoload works under windows, but not on Linux

  I have the following php code: index.php <?php spl_autoload_extensions(".php"); spl_autoload_register(); use modules\standard as std; $handler = new std\handler(); $handler->delegate(); ?> modules\standard\handler.php <?php namespace modules\standard { class handler { function delegate(){ echo 'Hello from delegation!'; } } } ?> Under Windows 7, running WAMP, the code produces the message "Hello from Delegation!" however under Linux, I get the following: Fatal error: spl_autoload(): Class modules\standard\handler could not be loaded in /var/www/index.php on line 15 Windows is running PHP 5.3.0 under WAMP, and Linux is running the 5.3.2 dotdeb package under Ubuntu 9.10. Is this a configuration issue on my linux box, or just a difference in the way namespaces and autoloading is handled on the different operating systems

• Hibernate and stored procedures

  As my understanding on setting hibernate, I need to create table meta data file (person.hbm.xml), include all the fields mapping java object (person.java) If we use stored procedures for all transaction, do we still need the above configuration? It seems hibernate and stored procedures will overlap, We set up the stored procedure because we don't want the to developer know all the field in db. If tables change, then we need update above files. Does it mean if we purely use stored procedure, we should just go for JDBC? If hibernate, we should stay in HQL?

  I'm trying to use CLEAR Motorola WiMax USB in Ubuntu as there is no support for linux as yet. I've installed windowsxp as guest in ubuntu and the version I'm using is 3.2.2.
