  • SOAP logging axis2

    Using axis1 it is possible to log incoming/outgoing soap messages by adding logging on HTTPSender in log4j.properties. After migrating to axis2 (version 1.4.1) I have a hard time figuring out how to accomplish the same kind of logging. I have tried to add logging on the axis2 package and org.apache.commons.httpclient but no logging is provided. Any ideas? TIA

  • 2 pages using the same url using rails routes.

    Im trying make a login page for my rails application that looks like "www.domain.com" and when you login you still are still located at the domain "www.domain.com". Is there a way that I can map 2 different actions to the same url using routes. Twitter does it this way, you log in at twitter.com and after you are logged in you are still located at twitter.com.     I have written a simple python module, it has this code: _log = logging.getLogger("mymodule") _started = False def set_log_level(level): _log.setLevel(level) if not _started: _hdlr = logging.FileHandler('mymodule.log') When I call set_log_level() program fails because symbol _started is not found. It is normal because global _started is missing in the method. But my question is: symbol _log has the same visibility as _started, so why does this symbol can be found? BR, // Toby

    Hello, i configured log4j for basic purpose usin the conversion pattern :- log4j.appender.rollingFile.layout.ConversionPattern=%p %t %c - %m%n But now i want to log the class name from which the error came as well as the username(available in session object) as well as the date and time when that event occurs.     Can I write a module/filter that gets put into the processing pipleline in Tomcat BEFORE the web application even gets run? Something that I could turn on/off for each web application that tomcat is handling. is this possible? So basically it would be a re-usable filter that hooks into the web pipeline that could alter the requests behavior or perform/modify the requests. One example would be to log all ip's, or redirect based on the url, block the request, etc.

    Is it possible to use a Perl hash in a manner that has O(log(n)) lookup and insertion? By default, I assume the lookup is O(n) since it's represented by an unsorted list.   • How do I deploy .NET Framework 4 using Active Directory deployment?

    I know it's possible to deploy earlier versions of the .NET framework using AD deployment, for example: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc160717.aspx. How do it do this for .NET 4? I tried unpacking the standalone .NET 4 installer and deploying the netfx_Extended_x86.msi package. This didn't work. After a reboot the event log shows that it tried but it failed to install with a message saying to run setup.exe.
