    Hey. I use FBStreamDialog to let users publish on their news feed. [fbStreamDialog show]; makes the dialog view popup, the user can press cancel or submit that message. Now...my problem is that both buttons close the dialog view and call the delegate method dialogDidSucceed. How do I find out which button was pressed? Its very important for me to know, any useful advice would be reaally really nice! Thanks, John

    I hope this gets a response. Say Person A sends an SMS to a shortcode in a certain syntax. How could a confirmation SMS be sent to Person A's mobile phone automatically ("Your message has been received successfully!"), after determining that the SMS received from Person A is in the correct syntax? I'm a total newbie when it comes to SMS - so if anyone could describe the entire end-to-end process/architecture that could make this happen, I'd be grateful!

    I have a piece of code VERY similar to this one http://java.sun.com/developer/onlineTraining/JavaMail/contents.html#JavaMailFetching I the difference is that I need to get the "TO" addresses as a String. I can't find in the API how to get the "TO" recipients as String for each Message. Can anyone guide me on how to do this? At least a link where someone has already done it. Thanks in advance

    hi there, I have a stored procedure and trying to run "sp_OACreate" but fall over with the following message: Msg 50000, Level 16, State 1, Procedure HTTP_REQUEST, Line 26 sp_OACreate on MSXML2.XMLHttp.4.0 failed That occurs because I am setting a variable to get the return value of sp_OACreate and raise the above error if the return value is not 0. Now, the return value I get is "-6" but i don't know why it is happening? Any help on this would be good to help make this work.

  • Android popup style activity which sits on top of any other apps

    What I want to create is a popup style application. I have a service in the background - something arrives on the queue and i want an activity to start to inform the user - very very similar to the functionality of SMSPopup app. So I have the code where something arrives on the queue and it calls my activity. However for some reason the activity always shows on top of the originally started activity instead of just appearing on the main desktop of the android device. As an example: I have the main activity which is shown when the application is run I have the service which checks queue I have a popup activity. When i start the main activity it starts the service - I can now close this. I then have something on the queue and it creates the popup activity which launches the main activity with the popup on top of it :S How do I stop this and have it behave as i want... Rather than attempting to parse it out myself and converting escape chars and so on, I thought I'd check to see if anyone knows of an objective-c library to do this for me. In .NET, I've always used the Mailbee classes for anything email related, but I can't seem to find anything similar for cocoa.
