Hi all,
The question is quite simple : I have a plugin for Zend Framework.
Should I put it in the "library/Plugin" folder, or in "application/plugins".
(btw for now it is in library/Plugin but this works on Linux and Mac Os X, but not Windows so i figured maybe that is not the right place)
Thank you
I have learned how to create a simple website with the Zend Framework. Now suppose I want to put it on some web hosting server. In my ZF project, I have a folder named public, which I want to appear as the root of the URL. I want my site to be visible and accessible as
http://www.mysite.com
while being served from a page like /public/index.phtml or similar.
How is this done?
Hai,
After inclunde the library in php.ini .I try to create a project in dos window by typing like C:\wamp\www\Zend\binzf.bat create project quickstart i got a error message:"
'"php.exe"' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file."
this is the error message please help me??how it was occured and a solution
I am following the Zend Framework quickstart document and got stuck on the .htaccess rewrite rules. I am using this:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -s [OR]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -l [OR]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -d
RewriteRule ^.*$ - [NC,L]
RewriteRule ^.*$ index.php [NC,L]
This works find when I access through HTTP, however, nothing is served when accessing through HTTPS. I am using a single directory for HTTP and HTTPS content.
I would not want to force HTTPS either.
How can I fix this?

Hi there,
In Zend Framework (1.10) i want to check if two input fields are identical
I have the following code in my form:
$this->addElement('password', 'password', array(
'label' => 'Wachtwoord:',
'required' => true
)
);
$this->addElement('password', 'verifypassword', array(
'label' => 'Bevestig wachtwoord:',
'required' => true,
)
);
I already tryed the "identical" validator, but I did'nt got it to work.
In a classic Zend Framework MVC setup, there seems to be access to a generic _request object from within the model/view/controller instance as outlined here:
$this->_request->getPost('variablename');
is this request object somehow available in a non-MVC setup as well?
If yes: how would I initialize and access it?
Hello,
How can I disable WSDL file validation in Zend Studio? I have many WSDL files in a project and it takes much much time to validate all of them.
Thank you in advance.
Hello,
I'm trying to perform database migration from the command line using
"php doctrine generate-migrations-diff", it just gives me the error:
"Could not generate migration classes from difference"
Is there anyone having the same issue?
I'm using Zend Framework + Doctrine 1.2.2
Thanks.
In Zend Framework how can I set the title properties of option elements within a select?
Desired output:
<option value="foo" title="bar">option</option>
I am using Zend Framework and it works fine in Firefox/Safari. In IE I have a problem with images not loading.
Say I have an image in my public folder and I have this in my page:
<img src="/photos/category/img.jpg" />
Well that works, except when I'm at a URL with a controller like
http://www.example.com/controller/action
I can see why, but I want a good solution to properly creating these img src links that works across browsers.
Is there some kind a engine for Json in the Zend framework, What I mean is some abstraction that all the Json (ajax) responces go through ?
in other words some class to controll all the Ajax calls?
i am trying to develop website using zend framework so i had created one index.php file where all my requests goes and c.reated two controller one is IndexController and other is TestController
Class IndexController extends Zend_Controller_Action{
public function indexAction(){
echo "Index Index Jamla";
}
public function displayAction(){
echo "Index Display Jamla";
}
}
now when i access the url http://test/
it correctly calls IndexController and its IndexAction function
but when i access the url http://test/index/index
it displays the message url /index/index was not found on this server same it does when i access http://test/test/index
though http://test/ is equivalent to http://test/index/index
Hi
My zend framework render function returns:
Warning: include(C:\wamp\www\cms\application\modules\default\views\scripts) [function.include]: failed to open stream: Permission denied...
It's being called in a postDispatch function on the controller, but that doesn't matter as no matter where i put it, it fails.
Any ideas? My view and layout are started in the bootstrap. Thanks
i used Zend Studio for eclipse, and now i have a problem with encoding.
when i try to write text in foreign language, it doesn't understand the font. but in browser it shows normally.
i've set then default encoding to UTF-8, but it doesn't work.
could you help me.
Thanks
I have a dev project setup in a subfolder on my testing machine and it must stay there.
However all the Zend frameworks views are linked to server root.
CSS are linked like:
<link type="text/css" href="<?php echo $this->baseUrl('/css/frontend.css') ?>" rel="Stylesheet" />
Which must be stayed this way, but it should link to
localhost/a/b/c/prj1/css/frontend.css
How can I setup a global subdirectory for this?
Can I use zend Registry to save variable to use in other controller?
this is my code that don't work in another controller:
Zend_Registry::set('id', $Id);
When using Zend Studio to write views for a MVC framework, is there any way of having those variables autocomplete, perhaps using PHPdoc?
For example, I set a variable in a view called $cart which is an instance of my ShoppingCart class. When I type "$cart-", I'd like the IDE to pop up with all of the objects properties.
I want to start learning Zend Framework. My only concern is that the most recent ZF book on Amazon with good reviews teaches version 1.8 of the framework, which is now about a year old. Do you think it would be a good idea to still pick up that book or is it too old now?
Scenario
Need to update some attributes in an existing XML-file. The file contains a XSL processing instruction, so when the XML is parsed and updated I need to add the instruction before writing it to a file again. Problem is - whatever I do - I'm not able to insert the processing instruction
Based on the Java-example found at rgagnon.com I have created the code below
Example code ##
import groovy.xml.*
def xml = '''|<something>
| <Settings>
| </Settings>
|</something>'''.stripMargin()
def document = DOMBuilder.parse( new StringReader( xml ) )
def pi = document.createProcessingInstruction('xml-stylesheet', 'type="text/xsl" href="Bp8DefaultView.xsl"');
document.insertBefore(pi, document.documentElement)
println document.documentElement
Creates output
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<something>
<Settings>
</Settings>
</something>
What I want
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="Bp8DefaultView.xsl"?>
<something>
<Settings>
</Settings>
</something>
