  Hello... I am using rhino and Scripting for the Java Platform in order to allow the user extend my application. However the user can write some cases eg (ASTO.value>440) || (ASTO.bellowNormal) etc... The problem is that before running the script from my JAVA application using ScriptEngine i want to get the names of all the variables! Because i should know which variables are required for the script to run... I know that a regular expression would do the job but i amnt sure... Please i somebody could help me figure out the java regexp to get the variables i would really appriciate it..

  Example: The following string is defined in a json.js file. var test = "One complimentary entrée with the purchase of an entrée."; It is included in an index.html file by <script type="text/JavaScript" src="./json.js"></script> When the string is displayed in UI, it shows up as "One complimentary entr?e with the purchase of an entr?e." But if string is defined directly in the index.html, then it is not a problem. Can anyone suggest a solution on how to keep the text in the separate .js file?

• JQuery not copying state dropdown list 1 to DDL2 on checkbox change

  I've looked at similar posts on the subject but none of the recommended solutions have worked for me so I'm not sure where I'm going wrong. I have a billing and shipping address form with a dropdown list for the state. Upon checking/unchecking the "billing address same as shipping" everything copies over except the state dropdown list. The state dropdown list is populated from a SQLDataSource state table.   Hi all, I was using this JQuery in this download link, and included it in the head tag of a HTML web page: <script type="text/javascript" src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery-latest.js"></script> In a php web page, I got these few lines of codes: $.ajax({ url: 'http://mywebsite.com/site1/toavail/, type: "post", success: function(data) { // some more code here } }); When I tested the HTML page in IE 6, and 7, I saw the same warning message: "permission denied" When I tested it in Firefox 3, nothing was returned from the server web page. Later, I changed the JQuery source link to be: http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.4.2.js then I refreshed the web page, and I could saw the returned value.

This script works fine when I run it from command line but if it is invoked from cron it always fails to link the object files. My application has dependency on openssl. I want the script to resolve the url to an IP address as well, to store that, too. However, some of the URLs are like this: http://111.111.111.111/~example/index.php So it also needs to work with that. I'm not SURE that this is possible, but it only makes sense it would be. However, if there are some "conflicting" debug modes, I am not sure how to set the "precedence of debug_modes"? Also, I am not certain if my approach is good enough to Perlists and I hope I am getting my feet in the right direction. One biggest problem is that I now put if statements inside most of my subroutines for controlling their behavior under different modes. Is this okay? Is there a more elegant way? I know there must be a debug module from CPAN or elsewhere, but I want a real minimal solution that doesn't depend on any other module than the "default". And I cannot have any control on the environment where this script will be executed...

• CSS file not getting downloaded in Visual Studio 2008 SP?

  Hi guys, This might sound a little wierd, but all of a sudden the CSS and Javascript files referenced in my master page are not being downloaded while the page is being rendered. I am working on a ASP.NET MVC project and things were all fine like half an hour ago! Here is what I have in head section of the master page, <link href="/Content/MyCSS.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /> <script src="/Scripts/jquery-1.3.2.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script> I can see the CSS class intellisense while designing pages. But in the page source I do not see these files being added. I can see the css being applied in the VS designer. I have tried restarting VS, restarting my machine too. Anyone else faced this situation before. I might go crazy now.

  I am trying to run a python script which uses a binary file (xFiles.bin.addr_patched) created by a postlinker. However, I am getting this error. File "abc.py", line 74, in ParseCmd shutil.copy(gOptions.inputX, gWorkingXFile) File "/usr/lib/python2.6/shutil.py", line 89, in copy copymode(src, dst) File "/usr/lib/python2.6/shutil.py", line 66, in copymode os.chmod(dst, mode) OSError: [Errno 1] Operation not permitted: 'myPath/xFiles.bin.addr_patched' When I checked the permissions of this xFiles.bin, by ls-l, it shows that -rwxrwxrwx 1 nobody nogroup I presume the error is because this file was created by some other application, the python script I am running does not have access to it. Since I am beginner wrt ubuntu, I don't really know how to fix it. Any suggestions on how to fix this? SOLVED: As one of the answers Suggested : chown username:groupname file name fixes this issue
