• Pass Linq Expression to a function

  I want to pass a property list of a class to a function. with in the function based on property list I'm going to generate a query. As exactly same functionality in Linq Select method. Here I'm gonna implement this for Ingress Database. I think my Select function should looks like this, ( *I think this should done using Linq Expression. I got everything to work and it is deserialized perfectly (almost). The problem I have is with the random text mixed throughout the child nodes. The generated verse-unit objects gives me a list of objects (begin-line, begin-block-indent, etc), and also another list of string objects that represent the bits of string throughout the xml.   Hello, I'm trying to create a class that can instantiate arrays at runtime by giving each array a "name" created by the createtempobjectname() method. I'm having trouble making this program run. I would also like to see how I could access specific objects that were created during runtime and accessing those arrays by either changing value or accessing them. • Why is conversion from UTF-8 to ISO-8859-1 not the same in Windows and Linux?

  I have the following in code to convert from UTF-8 to ISO-8859-1 in a jar file and when I execute this jar in Windows I get one result and in CentOS I get another.   Somehow, I can't get this done. The pointer is the correct memory location on the C++ side, but the data isn't there. What am I missing?

• Symfony 1.4: Is it possible to prevent escaping of a redirect URL?

  Hi, If I do a redirect in action as normal: $this->redirect('@mypage?apple=1&banana=2&orange=3'); ... Symfony produces the correct URL: /something/something?apple=1&banana=2&orange=3 However, the following gets escaped for some bizarre reason: $string = 'apple=1&banana=2&orange=3'; $this->redirect('@mypage?'.$string); ... and the following URL is produced: /something/something?apple=1&amp;banana=2&amp;orange=3 Is there a way to avoid this escaping and have the ampersands appear correctly in the URL? I've tried everything I can think of and it's driving me mad. I need this for a situation where I'm pulling a saved query as a string from the database and would just like to latch it onto the URL. I'm aware that I could generate an array from the string and then generate a brand new URL from the array, but it just seems like a lot of overhead because of this silly escaping. Thanks.
