  I have to support an old C++ program (I am not its author) that uses Extended MAPI to scan mail folders from Outlook 2007. Suddenly the software began meeting problems on one customer's computer by the following scenario: call of OpenMsgStore fails for some folders with code 0x80040102 (MAPI_E_NO_SUPPORT ). for other folders it fails with code 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED). But other folders opened by OpenMsgStore OK. What can be reason of the problem?

I tried downloading the version 1.6.0 of VSS plugin from http://sourceforge.net/projects/vssplugin/ , but that did not help as it seems this version of the plugin does not support WSAD 5.1 as it uses eclipse 2.1 Any help would be appreciated.

• Can we turn on the iphone's number keyboard WITHOUT using type=number?

  I'm making a webapp, and I'd like an input field to show the Iphone's number keypad. I understand that type=number will make the keypad show the way I'd like. The trouble is that type=number does not support placeholder text. So if I would like this: Expiration Date: [eg: 2010] I can not get it to work, and also show the right keyboard. Is there a way to force the iphone keyboard into number mode without using the number input type?

• Is it safe to install .Net 3.5 SP1 after .Net 4.0 RC has already been installed?

  I have a Build Agent that was only dealing in .Net 4.0 RC stuff, and so only had .Net 2.0 (natively) and 4.0 (manually) versions installed. It now needs to support stuff compiled against 3.5 SP1. Does anyone know if I'm asking for trouble trying to install 3.5 SP1 after 4.0 RC has already been installed? Thanks in advance.

  How can I convert a given object (in a generic way with reflection) to pretty printable HTML? What ready made library do you recommend that does this? I need support for simple nested objects (as long as they don't create loops in the object graph). I tried to convert it to JSON, but DefaultPrettyPrinter is not HTML friendly.

If I implement Forms-Based Authentication on the 10 pages, will it also spread across the public part of the website too? i.e. changes in web.config.   Hi, I recently contacted a web host regarding support for external database access to a Microsoft SQL Server database included in a package they offer. They replied saying that it is only possible with an SSH-tunnel. Is it possible to connect to a SQL Server database in Visual Studio using an SSH-tunnel? It is important for me to be able to access the database from my local machine (for debugging, generating LINQ classes, editing tables, etc). Or, how should I go about working with their database?

  Hey, I'm trying to develop a toolbar for Microsoft Outlook. For getting it to work I need mso.dll and msoutl.olb as an import. My problem is: the path is hardcoded , but it varies for every OS and of course if someone doesn't install Office to the default path.   int, char and bool usually have different sizes. Where intcharbool, I suppose. But does the RAM even support this? How is it built up? Can it take advantage of bool being only 1 byte and store it in a small "register"?
