  • UIImagePickerController can not select picture

    I have some problem when i work with UIImagePickerController .when I presentModalViewController,and the picker pops up right,but i can not select a picture! when i touch on the picture list, the list can only scroll up and down,but can not select! how about this? thanks.

  • Which bug in the Delphi IDE / VCL do you despise the most?

    I've been working in Delphi 7 for the last 6 years now and have learnt to merely submit to the instablity of the IDE. For example, there are particular projects I've inherited which, when working on, I cannot use the CTRL+SPACE dropdown symbol list in the Delphi editor without getting an Access Violation error, this would easily top my list but there are many more. I'd like to know which bugs frustrate you the most.

  • Is it possible to make ListView display a text obtained through its ListViewItem.Tag?

    I'd like to fill System.Windows.Forms.ListView with the items I've stored in a separate System.Collections.Generics.List<. I would like to avoid to store the data twice, once in the List< and once as a string in ListViewItem. Is there a way to make ListViewItem use some callback function to obtain the text to put in its columns from the Tag property, instead of using its Text property?

  • Sort Strings by first letter [C]

    I have a program which places structures in a linked list based on the 'name' they have stored in them. To find their place in the list, i need to figure out if the name im inserting is earlier or later in the alphabet then those in the structures beside it. The names are inside the structures, which i have access to. I don't need a full comaparison if that is more work, even just the first letter is fine. Thanks for the help!

    Say I have a TODO list iphone app, that can be edited/viewed from both a web application and the iphone application. When on the iphone, when a user views all his todo lists, or sub-items, I would think that each time the user views a particular list it shouldn't be hitting the web applications API every-time, but rather cache locally the values and only hit the web when things change. What strategies are there for this type of scenerio?

    Hey All, I am a newbie in C# and curious about the better solution of my case. I have a method which gets the DataTable as a parameter and creates a List with MyClass's variables and returns it. public static List<Campaigns> GetCampaignsList(DataTable DataTable) { List<Campaigns> ListCampaigns = new List<Campaigns>(); foreach (DataRow row in DataTable.Rows) { Campaigns Campaign = new Campaigns(); Campaign.CampaignID = Convert.ToInt32(row["CampaignID"]); Campaign.CustomerID = Convert.ToInt32(row["CustomerID"]); Campaign.ClientID = Convert.ToInt32(row["ClientID"]); Campaign.Title = row["Title"].ToString(); Campaign.Subject = row["Subject"].ToString(); Campaign.FromName = row["FromName"].ToString(); Campaign.FromEmail = row["FromEmail"].ToString(); Campaign.ReplyEmail = row["ReplyEmail"].ToString(); Campaign.AddDate = Convert.ToDateTime(row["AddDate"]); Campaign.UniqueRecipients = Convert.ToInt32(row["UniqueRecipients"]); Campaign.ClientReportVisible = Convert.ToBoolean(row["ClientReportVisible"]); Campaign.Status = Convert.ToInt16(row["Status"]); ListCampaigns.Add(Campaign); } return ListCampaigns; } And one of my another DataTable method gets the DataTable from the database with given parameters. These all Database methods do take return type as DataTable but different number of parameters. public static DataTable GetCampaignDetails(int CampaignID) { DataTable dtCampaigns = new DataTable(); Campaigns Campaigns = new Campaigns(); dtCampaigns = Campaigns.Select(CampaignID); return dtCampaigns; } At the end, I want to pass a Delegate to my first GetCampaignList Method as parameter which will decide which Database method to invoke. I dont want to pass DataTable as parameter as it is newbie programming. Could you pls help me learn some more advance features. I searched over it and got to Func< delegate but could not come up with a solution.

  • Sharepoint - how to set permission level to add item but not view?

    I want to allow a certain group of users to add items to a list, but not be able to view all items. This is so I can set up a workflow with certain parts of it private. I thought it'd be possible by defining a new permission level in: http://servername/_layouts/addrole.aspx ('Add a permission level' page) However, when you select the "add items" list permission, "view items" is automatically ticked also. Anyone know a solution to this?

I made a new iphone library project and copied over some of my classes there, but the project can't build because it doesn't know about stuff like UIView or CGRect. I added in the UIKit, CoreGraphics, and QuartzCore frameworks, but still no go. What am I missing?

    There's a few questions discussing Merge sorting a LinkedList, but how can I do it with the C# LinkedList? Since the LinkedListNode Next and Previous properties are read-only most of the in-place algorithms I've come across are not possible. I've resorted to removing all the nodes, sorting them with a .OrderBy(node = node.Value) and then re-inserting them into the Linked list, but it's fairly crude.

    I wonder how to list the content of a tar file only down to some level? I understand tar tvf mytar.tar will list all files, but sometimes I would like to only see directories down to some level. Similarly, for the command ls, how do I control the level of subdirectories that will be displayed? By default, it will only show the direct subdirectories, but not go further.

    I am initialising a StringBuilder as follows: StringBuilder builder = new StringBuilder("Symptoms are "); After this I loop through a list and add each string item to the end using foreach(var item in list) { builder.Append(item); } An example item would be something like "headache" but once i've appended it to "Symptoms are " and called builder.ToString() it shows: "Symptoms areHeadache...etc" as opposed to "Symptoms are Headache...etc" Why is it ignoring the space?
