  • how do you release code like a static library in windows

    I had a question with regards doing an official release of code. Its my first time using VS2008 so bear with me. I have my header file that has the api's which grant them access to the lib. now there is a debug and a release version that is talked about. how do i give these to my client? do i need to give them both folders or just the lib file along with the header file for that lib. The lib is ready for use directly. but i am a little confused between debug vs release. thanks

I would like to share a .class file but I'm not sure how to do the following: Compile an Android .java file into .class What does the receiver of the .class file have to do to use that .class in their project?     I am using Propel as my DAL for my Symfony project. I can't seem to get my application to work across two or more databases. Here's my schema.yml: db1: lkp_User: pk_User: { type: integer, required: true, primaryKey: true, autoIncrement: true } UserName: { type: varchar(45), required: true } Password: longvarchar _uniques: Unique: [ UserName ] db2: tesco: Id: { type: integer, required: true, primaryKey: true, autoIncrement: true } Name: { type: varchar(45), required: true } Description: longvarchar And here's the databases.yml: dev: db1: param: classname: DebugPDO test: db1: param: classname: DebugPDO all: db1: class: sfPropelDatabase param: classname: PropelPDO dsn: 'mysql:dbname=bpodb;host=localhost' #where the db is located username: root password: #pass encoding: utf8 persistent: true pooling: true db2: class: sfPropelDatabase param: classname: PropelPDO dsn: 'mysql:dbname=mystore2;host=localhost' #where the db is located username: root password: #pass encoding: utf8 persistent: true pooling: true When I call php symfony propel-build-model, only db1 is generated, db2 is not.   • Form Arrays support across browsers

    I'm not even sure if form arrays is the proper term, but it looks a bit like this: <input name='element[]' type='text' /> <input name='element[]' type='text' /> Which is then retrieved in PHP as an array stored in $_POST['element'] -- in this case with 2 values. I've tested it in the browsers I have available to me, but I've never seen this before and I'm wondering is this supported pretty much in all browsers? Or is this something very old that I've just not run into? Thanks!

  • Creating a library of classes in php - how to handle the library root location?

    I am about to create a collection of classes in php which are interrelated. Now I would like to include files using their absolute path, ie If I were in '/com/mysite/licences/Generator.class.php' I would like to include files like this: include '/com/mysite/lib/Utils.class.php' I don't want to include like this, I think it is confusing and ugly include '../licenses/Utils.class.php' This works ok, unless 'com' is not in the root of public_html. I assume I will need some sort of prefix to append to each file LIBRARY_ROOT that hold the location of 'com' in the current filesystem. So it might look like this include LIBRARY_ROOT.'com/mysite/lib/Utils.class.php' What is the best way to do this?

    I am running CentOS 5.5 x86_64 with JDK 1.6, Eclipse Galileo, and the 0.9.7 ADT is installed; however, after installation, the Android project type is not available. I have checked in the installed packages list and it is installed. Anybody encounter this problem before? Could it be due to my use of the 64-bit java VM that is installed on my system?

The setup is as follows: site loads, there's a big menu in the center (frame 805). When you click on a menu item from there, the whole menu moves to the side, and the right side I want a "contentBox" movieclip, filled with "bagLink" (which is site content) and to have a close button (closeBtn.) It also needs to know that if you click the same link again on the left side that it doesn't reanimate, it just stays (which I achieved with the "if" statement.) Finally, if someone clicks another link, it needs to clear "contentBox" and refill it with whatever movieClip that was clicked. I know this is a lot to ask, but I'm in dire need of help as this is due on Wednesday...
