    If it's important to keep data access 'away' from business and presentation layers, what alternatives or approaches can I take so that my LINQ to SQL entities can stay in the data access layer? So far I seem to be simply duplicating the classes produced by sqlmetal, and passing those object around instead simply to keep the two layers appart. For example, I have a table in my DB called Books. If a user is creating a new book via the UI, the Book class generated by sqlmetal seems like a perfect fit although I'm tightly coupling my design by doing so.

So basically I've pared it down to needing to find out how to mess with the name of each input so that it can reflect the loop index appropriately, so Catalyst::Plugin::Params::Nested will build the correct structure. Thoughts?

    I have the three following lines and the first two line gets all the images on the document and hides all, but then when I add the third line shows all the images. What I need its to hide only the images with the attribute alt=minimize and alt=maximize but for some reason hides all the images. $('img').attr('alt', 'minimize').css("display","none"); $('img').attr('alt', 'maximize').css("display","none"); $('img').attr('alt', 'logo').css("display","inline"); I am using IE7, but it should be compatible with IE6 and IE8. The problem is on a particular product i need to check IF my pages contains: <span class="ProductNameText">This is product ABC</span> This is a work around because the customer only has 2 products which dont require 25 quantity. Ideally i would want to check if a page contained Kit Option form fields and then add 25 to the box. Any ideas on how to check for a span and then update the quantity. But the quantity shouldnt be forced, so if the user wants 6 items they should be able to add that figure.

  • Major JQuery bug on IE not reproducible - What can i do in this situation to solve this bug?

    I am hoping to get some help on this issue. Some users on IE have been reporting this javascript issue, but I have been unable to re-produce it. In essence, for some class of windows IE users, the game doesn't work (or $.ajax() is not working). What I know: I swapped out an ajax call (ajax_init_trainer) and used a standard link with some request parameters to do the initialization and ppl seemed to get passed the problem until they hit the next ajax call. I read somewhere that IE does crazy caching so you need to make the urls unique, which is why i added the _requestno parameter. However, setting the cache:false is said to also do this.   • jQuery: Preventing an event from being attached more than once?

    Essentially, I have an element FOO that I want when clicked to attach a click event to a completely separate set of elements BAR, so that when they're clicked they can revert FOO to its previous content. I only want this event attached once. When FOO is clicked, its content is cached away in $back_up, and a trigger is added on the BAR set so that when clicked they can revert FOO back to its previous state. Is there a clever way to do this? Is there any way to make #div2 disappear when #div1's CSS property top = 0 and reappear whenever it is changed? Or is there a better way to implement this?
