  • Swapping of columns in a file and remove duplicates

    Hi all i have a file like this: term1 term2 term3 term4 term2 term1 term5 term3 ..... ..... what i need to do is to remove duplicates in any order they appear, such as: term1 term2 and term2 term1 is a duplicate to me. It is a really long file, so I'm not sure what can be faster. Does anyone has an idea on how to do this? awk perhaps?

    I have a file that looks something like this: ABC DEF GHI I have a shell variable that looks something like this: var="MRD" What I want to do, is to make my file look like this: ABC MRD DEF GHI I was trying to do this: sed -i -e 's/ABC/&$var/g' text.txt but it only inserts $var instead of the value. I also tried this: sed -i -e 's/ABC/&"$var"/g' text.txt but that didn't work either. Any thoughts? Thanks!

    Hi guys, I've made a library which I'd like to compile to an SWC file, I've tried to do this in FDT by choosing FDT AS3 Library as Run settings, but all I end up with is a 0kb .swc file. Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong? I can't find much when I google it either, if anybody has a quick walkthrough on how to do it saved in your bookmarks or something, that would be great! It takes in 128 bits, encrypts and returns 128 bits So how do i enhance my function so that it can handle more than 128 bits? How do i make the encryption algorithm handle larger strings? In internet I saw that there is should be -J-Dswing.aatext=true -J-Dawt.useSystemAAFontSettings=on in netbeans_default_options. This file should be located in /etc/netbeans.conf. But there isn't this file. I have NetBeans 6.8. Help, please.
