I can execute: SELECT COUNT (Field1) WHERE (Field1 <> '') AS Field1Count SELECT COUNT (Field2) WHERE (Field2 <> '') AS Field2Count SELECT COUNT (Field3) WHERE (Field3 <> '') AS Field3Count SELECT COUNT (Field4) WHERE (Field4 <> '') AS Field4Count Is it possible to roll up these separate SQL statements into one that will return the 4 results in one hit? Is there any performance advantage to doing so (given that the number of columns and rows may be quite large in practice)?

Still, to easily have content updates it should be able to update it's content once connected to internet. It's quite some data ( around 300 full lines of text ) and I want it to be loaded, stored and visualized as optimized as possible.   Currently I have two pages: The first page contains an input form, and the 2nd page generates an excel document. The input form's button posts to this 2nd page. What I'd like to do is add a second button which also posts to the 2nd page; however, I'll need requests created from this new button to act differently, which brings me to my question: Is there a way I can tell, from the 2nd page, which button was pressed to submit the request? The main reason I'm asking is I'd like to re-use the 2nd page's logic in parsing the information from the first page if possible; I'd rather not have to copy it to a new page and have the new button post to that.   I know that there are simmilar questions like this on the forum, however I am still having problems to update a datetime field o the database. I dont get any problems when inserting but I get problems when updating and I am formating the same way , like this: e.Values.Item("SelectionStartDate") = Format(startdate, "yyyy-MM-dd") + " " + startTime1 + ".000" startTime is of type string. I have tried different solution that I came across on the internet but still get this error. Please help. Thanks in advance

  I want to clear the session on Page unload. Here is a condition : If user goes from Page A to Page B of the same site session must not get cleared. If user close the browser window or Tab(close the site),session must gets cleared. I have tried using AJAX PageMethod to call server-side procedure to remove session from client side script.But the procedure is not getting hit,I have checked it using Breakpoint. server side procedure is in master.cs file I will appreciate your help. • Session Variable Not Being Updated? ASP.NET

  I have a three step wizard. On the first step I use a repeater to create a series of buttons that an individual can select from. When the user selects one of the buttons the value of the button is saved to session state. They are taken to the next step and shown a similar list of buttons that are based on what they previously selected. Thus, if you choose "Hamburger" you might receive the options of "onion", "lettuce", "tomato" while if you choose "Hot Dog" you might receive "sauerkraut" and "ketchup". Lets say an individual chooses Hamburger. This is saved into session state like so: Public Sub Button_ItemCommand(ByVal Sender As Object, ByVal e As RepeaterCommandEventArgs) ' ******** Lets pass on the results of our query in LinqDataSource1_Selecting. Session("food_select") = RTrim(e.CommandName) Wizard1.ActiveStepIndex = 1 End Sub Now, this works fine and dandy. But lets say I select hamburger and then realize I'm really hankering for a hot dog. I go back to the first wizard step and click on the hot dog button - but when the wizard progresses to the next step I still see the options for hamburgers! The session variable has not been updated.   I realize something like this has been asked, but this may be a little different Below is my Event object: Event : IEvent public int Id public string Title public List<EventContact> Contacts And EventContact: EventContact public int Id public string Name So, an Event has a list of EventContact' objects. Now, Event also implements IEvent - hence the custom model binder. I useIEventinstead of Event, so when the default model binder tries to do its thing, it lets me know it can't create anIEvent'. I have my view with populated with the contact info: <input type="text" name="contact[0].Name" value="DB Value"/> <input type="text" name="contact[1].Name" value="DB Value"/> <input type="text" name="contact[2].Name" value="DB Value"/> <!-- Event fields, etc --> So, in my custom model binder I am able to see all the value - sweet! The only thing is, I'm really not sure how to get all the contact fields and create a list of contacts from them, along with binding all the Event fields. Any and all help is appreciated!

  Hi, I have a MVC app where I have a User class and the user can also impersonate another user(Admin users only). So I have this code below that authenticates the request and instantiates my version of a User class. It then tries to get the impersonated user from the Session object but Session is not available in this method in the global.asax. Hope this makes sense. • LOAD DATA INFILE not working in mariadb

  Iam trying to migrate from mysql to mariadb. On this time I can face an issue with mariadb. When I can trying to load a data file into a table, it shows an error like : SQL Error (29): File 'C:/Documents and Settings/Administrator/Local Settings/Temp/SAMPLE/DATA_TEMP1351761841668/SampleFile0' not found (Errcode: 2) But the file already exists in the path.... Another one point is that the same command successfully works with MySQL. Is MariaDB has any permission issue? Login as Administrator. See below my query : load data infile "'C:/Documents and Settings/Administrator/Local Settings/Temp/SAMPLE/DATA_TEMP1351761841668/SampleFile0" into table SAMPLETABLE; When changing the path loke "C:/SampleFile0", its working properly. From Administrator folder it doesn't working. Can anyone help me in this regard??? Iam a newone in MariaDB.

• Preventing a button from responding to 'Enter' in ASP.net

  I have a master template that all the pages on my site use. In the template there is an empty panel. In the code-behind for the page an imagebutton is created in the panel dynamically in my Page_Load section (makes a call to the DB to determine which button should appear via my controller). On some pages that use this template and have forms on them, pressing the Enter key fires the click event on this imagebutton rather than the submit button in the form. Is there a simple way to prevent the imagebutton click event from firing unless it's clicked by the mouse? I'm thinking a javascript method is a hack, especially since the button doesn't even exist in the master template until the button is dynamically created on Page_Load (this is ugly since I can't simply do <% =btnName.ClientId %> to refer to the button's name in my aspx page). I tried setting a super-high tabindex for the image button and that did nothing. Also set the button to be the DefaultButton in its panel on the master template but that did not work either.

• MQ EOL Data conversion

  we are sending data trough MQ from a z/OS/CICS system to an AS400. Original encoding of the message is CCSID 500 with a MQSTR Format. The client application is getting the message with the CONVERT option and CCSID 819. Data is almost converted correctly except for the end of line caracter. Any idea? The z/OS is sending 0D (CR) as end of line caracter. If they had 0D+0A (CR+LF), CCSID automatically change from 500 to 437, and the end of line still ain't right on the client side.

Sales" End If Basically what is happening is, if a certain radio button is selected and the user didn't click the checkbox the default regions are included and they are hardcoded because the query runs much faster. if the user did click the checkbox then the textbox where they type the specific regions shows up and it will run the query that includes the dbo.B605SaleAsOfAdvancedMaster.SDESCR in (" & TextBox1.Text & ") If you can somehow do this using parameters and not with the textbox1.text in the query it will run much faster for me thanks for your help
