  • Storing old previous year data in Rails?

    - by Millisami
Hi, I'm developing an app which has massive data entries. Its like Campaign which has attrs like rate_per_sq_feet, start_date, end_date. i.e it will have max date of around 30 days. Once the campaign is finished, its done and another starts. Now I'm confused that how to store those campaigns as reports so that its not accessed regurlarly. What I mean is to store in such a way that it will act like report on later years to come? Its something like fiscal year on accounts where the previous year reports are stored with all the calculations done so that when retrieved later, all the algorithms and calculations shouldn't be performed. Something like frozen data??

  • Setting a cell's format using Excel 2007 Interop and C#

    - by CVertex
I'm using the office 2007 interop assemblies to create some excel spreadsheets. There are plenty of questions on here about getting started and MSDN contains heaps of articles, like this one. The API is funky, and sometimes a bit confusing. When I set a value of a cell, is there a way to set it's format? I'd like to mark particular fields as Date's so my customer can run excel macros on them. Also, numbers would be useful. Thanks!

  • Dealing with ISO-encoding in AJAX requests (prototype)

    - by acme
I have a HTML-page, that's encoded in ISO-8859-1 and a Prototype-AJAX call that's build like this: new Ajax.Request('api.jsp', { method: 'get', parameters: {...}, onSuccess: function(transport) { var ajaxResponse = transport.responseJSON; alert(ajaxResponse.msg); } }); The api.jsp returns its data in ISO-8859-1. The response contains special characters (German Umlauts) that are not displayed correctly, even if I add a "encoding: ISO-8895-1" to the AJAX-request. Does anyone know how to fix this? If I call api.jsp in a new browser window separately the special characters are also corrupt. And I can't get any information about the used encoding in the response header. The response header looks like this: Server Apache-Coyote/1.1 Content-Type application/json Content-Length 208 Date Thu, 29 Apr 2010 14:40:24 GMT Notice: Please don't advice the usage of UTF-8. I have to deal with ISO-8859-1.

  • Fixtures and inheritance in Symfony

    - by Tere
Hi! I have a database schema in Symfony like this: Persona: actAs: { Timestampable: ~ } columns: primer_nombre: { type: string(255), notnull: true } segundo_nombre: { type: string(255) } apellido: { type: string(255), notnull: true } rut: { type: string(255) } email: { type: string(255) } email2: { type: string(255) } direccion: { type: string(400) } ciudad: { type: string(255) } region: { type: string(255) } pais: { type: string(255) } telefono: { type: string(255) } telefono2: { type: string(255) } fecha_nacimiento: { type: date } Alumno: inheritance: type: concrete extends: Persona columns: comentario: { type: string(255) } estado_pago: { type: string(255) } Alumno_Beca: columns: persona_id: { type: integer, primary: true } beca_id: { type: integer, primary: true } relations: Alumno: { onDelete: CASCADE, local: persona_id, foreign: id } Beca: { onDelete: CASCADE, local: beca_id, foreign: id } Beca: columns: nombre: { type: string(255) } monto: { type: double } porcentaje: { type: double } descripcion: { type: string(5000) } As you see, "alumno" has a concrete inheritance from "persona". Now I'm trying to create fixtures for this two tables, and I can't make Doctrine to load them. It gives me this error: SQLSTATE[23000]: Integrity constraint violation: 1452 Cannot add or update a child row: a foreign key constraint fails (eat/alumno__beca, CONSTRAINT alumno__beca_persona_id_alumno_id FOREIGN KEY (persona_id) REFERENCES alumno (id) ON DELETE CASCADE) Does someone know how to write a fixture for a table inherited from another? Thanks!

  • How does one inject variables into page templates from a custom Drupal module?

    - by Michael T. Smith
We've created a custom module for organizing and publishing our newsletter content. The issue I'm running into now -- and I'm new to theming and Drupal module development, so it could just be a knowledge issue as opposed to a Drupal issue -- is how to get each newsletter themed. At this point the URL structure of our newsletter will be: /newsletters/{newsletter-name}/{edition-name}/{issue-date} which means that we can create template files in our theme using filenames like page-newsletters-{newsletter-name}-{edition-name}.tpl.php, which is great. The one issue I'm running into is that all of the content comes through in the $content variable of the theme. I'd like to have it come through as different variables (so that I can, inside the theme, place certain content in certain areas.) Is there a proper way for doing this?

  • How do I change JAVASCRIPT_DEFAULT_SOURCES for my application?

    - by Adam Lassek
When you call javascript_include_tag :defaults you usually get: prototype.js, effects.js, dragdrop.js, and controls.js. These are stored in a constant in ActionView::Helpers::AssetTagHelper called 'JAVASCRIPT_DEFAULT_SOURCES`. My application uses jQuery, so I want to replace the Prototype references with something more useful. I added an initializer with these lines, based on the source code from jRails: ActionView::Helpers::AssetTagHelper::JAVASCRIPT_DEFAULT_SOURCES = %w{ jquery-1.4.min jquery-ui jquery.cookie } ActionView::Helpers::AssetTagHelper::reset_javascript_include_default But when I do this, I get: warning: already initialized constant JAVASCRIPT_DEFAULT_SOURCES during startup. What's the correct way of changing this value? In the source code it checks for the constant before setting it, but apparently that happens before it runs the initializer scripts. The Rails 3.0 release will provide much greater flexibility with choice of JS libraries, so I guess this is a problem with an expiration date.

  • MySQL LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE example in python?

    - by David Perron
I am looking for a syntax definition, example, sample code, wiki, etc. for executing a LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE command from python. I believe I can use mysqlimport as well if that is available, so any feedback (and code snippet) on which is the better route, is welcome. A Google search is not turning up much in the way of current info The goal in either case is the same: Automate loading hundreds of files with a known naming convention & date structure, into a single MySQL table. • Finding gaps (missing records) in database records using SQL

    - by Tony_Henrich
I have a table with records for every consecutive hour. Each hour has some value. I want a T-SQL query to retrieve the missing records (missing hours, the gaps). So for the DDL below, I should get a record for missing hour 04/01/2010 02:00 AM (assuming date range is between the first and last record). Using SQL Server 2005. Prefer a set based query. DDL: CREATE TABLE [Readings]( [StartDate] [datetime] NOT NULL, [SomeValue] [int] NOT NULL ) INSERT INTO [Readings]([StartDate], [SomeValue]) SELECT '20100401 00:00:00.000', 2 UNION ALL SELECT '20100401 01:00:00.000', 3 UNION ALL SELECT '20100401 03:00:00.000', 45

  • Is it feasible to write a Firefox plugin to make use of ActiveX control on Windows?

    - by Gary B2312321321
I use an ActiveX control called TAPIEx enabling TAPI phone system integration using MS Access 2000 (+Visual Basic). I want to turn this Access database into a web app with the clients running Firefox (all on internal network). Since Firefox doesnt support ActiveX is it feasible for me to write a Firefox plugin that in turn utilizes the ActiveX control? With regard to how plugins work - Would I be able to call 'functions' of the plugin from page script (eg dial call specifying phone number, check if calls in process)? Would adding these functions to the Firefox right click menu 'globally' inside Firefox be easier? Hope you guys can help. Note I'm not a fulltime programmer; I just need to know how steep the learning curve will be or even if my idea is possible! Ive now found a project to allow using activex controls in firefox that seems to be quite up to date at: http://code.google.com/p/ff-activex-host/

  • Polymorphic association in reverse

    - by Erik
Let's say that I have two models - one called Post and one other called Video. I then have a third model - Comment - that is polymorphically associated to to each of these models. I can then easily do post.comments and video.comments to find comments assosciated to records of these models. All easy so far. But what if I want to go the other way and I want to find ALL posts and videos that have been commented on and display these in a list sorted on the date that the comment was made? Is this possible? If it helps I'm working on Rails 3 beta.

  • Trouble updating my datagrid in WPF

    - by wrigley06
As the title indicates, I'm having trouble updating a datagrid in WPF. Basically what I'm trying to accomplish is a datagrid, that is connected to a SQL Server database, that updates automatically once a user enters information into a few textboxes and clicks a submit button. You'll notice that I have a command that joins two tables. The data from the Quote_Data table will be inserted by a different user at a later time. For now my only concern is getting the information from the textboxes and into the General_Info table, and from there into my datagrid. The code, which I'll include below compiles fine, but when I hit the submit button, nothing happens. This is the first application I've ever built working with a SQL Database so many of these concepts are new to me, which is why you'll probably look at my code and wonder what is he thinking. public partial class MainWindow : Window { public MainWindow() { InitializeComponent(); } public DataSet mds; // main data set (mds) private void Window_Loaded_1(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e) { try { string connectionString = Sqtm.Properties.Settings.Default.SqtmDbConnectionString; using (SqlConnection connection = new SqlConnection(connectionString)) { connection.Open(); //Merging tables General_Info and Quote_Data SqlCommand cmd = new SqlCommand("SELECT General_Info.Quote_ID, General_Info.Open_Quote, General_Info.Customer_Name," + "General_Info.OEM_Name, General_Info.Qty, General_Info.Quote_Num, General_Info.Fab_Drawing_Num, " + "General_Info.Rfq_Num, General_Info.Rev_Num, Quote_Data.MOA, Quote_Data.MOQ, " + "Quote_Data.Markup, Quote_Data.FOB, Quote_Data.Shipping_Method, Quote_Data.Freight, " + "Quote_Data.Vendor_Price, Unit_Price, Quote_Data.Difference, Quote_Data.Vendor_NRE_ET, " + "Quote_Data.NRE, Quote_Data.ET, Quote_Data.STI_NET, Quote_Data.Mfg_Time, Quote_Data.Delivery_Time, " + "Quote_Data.Mfg_Name, Quote_Data.Mfg_Location " + "FROM General_Info INNER JOIN dbo.Quote_Data ON General_Info.Quote_ID = Quote_Data.Quote_ID", connection); SqlDataAdapter da = new SqlDataAdapter(cmd); DataTable dt = new DataTable(); da.Fill(dt); MainGrid.ItemsSource = dt.DefaultView; mds = new DataSet(); da.Fill(mds, "General_Info"); MainGrid.DataContext = mds.Tables["General_Info"]; } } catch (Exception ex) { MessageBox.Show(ex.Message); } // renaming column names from the database so they are easier to read in the datagrid MainGrid.Columns[0].Header = "#"; MainGrid.Columns[1].Header = "Date"; MainGrid.Columns[2].Header = "Customer"; MainGrid.Columns[3].Header = "OEM"; MainGrid.Columns[4].Header = "Qty"; MainGrid.Columns[5].Header = "Quote Number"; MainGrid.Columns[6].Header = "Fab Drawing Num"; MainGrid.Columns[7].Header = "RFQ Number"; MainGrid.Columns[8].Header = "Rev Number"; MainGrid.Columns[9].Header = "MOA"; MainGrid.Columns[10].Header = "MOQ"; MainGrid.Columns[11].Header = "Markup"; MainGrid.Columns[12].Header = "FOB"; MainGrid.Columns[13].Header = "Shipping"; MainGrid.Columns[14].Header = "Freight"; MainGrid.Columns[15].Header = "Vendor Price"; MainGrid.Columns[16].Header = "Unit Price"; MainGrid.Columns[17].Header = "Difference"; MainGrid.Columns[18].Header = "Vendor NRE/ET"; MainGrid.Columns[19].Header = "NRE"; MainGrid.Columns[20].Header = "ET"; MainGrid.Columns[21].Header = "STINET"; MainGrid.Columns[22].Header = "Mfg. • Configuring log4net appenders via XML file *and* code

    - by Dave
I started to play with log4net today and so far, I really like it. In order to preserve our current logging functionality, the app needs to create a new log file whenever the application is started. The log file name has the date and time stamp encoded in it. Currently, I've got log4net configured via an XmlConfigurator, which works great, except that the filename for my RollingFileAppender is hardcoded in the configuration XML file. I'd like to continue to use the XmlConfigurator, but after calling Configure(), I want to get at the RollingFileAppender and, in code, change its file value to be a dynamically-generated string. The sample documentation online seems to be down right now, but I've poked through the SDK reference, and it looks like I could use the Heirarchy and GetAppenders() to do what I need to do. Am I on the right track?

  • [VBA] Create a recurrent event in Outlook

    - by CFP
Hello everyone! I'm trying to create annual, all-day events with VBA in outlook 2007. I use the following code, but no matter which conbination of Start, StartDate, End, etc I use, it won't create a whole-day event. Either it gives it default start/end times, or it remove the all-day attribute... Dim Birthday As Date 'Get the birthday '... Dim BDay As AppointmentItem Dim Pattern As Outlook.RecurrencePattern Set BDay = Application.CreateItem(olAppointmentItem) Set Pattern = BDay.GetRecurrencePattern Pattern.RecurrenceType = olRecursYearly Pattern.DayOfMonth = Day(Birthday) Pattern.MonthOfYear = Month(Birthday) Pattern.PatternStartDate = Birthday Pattern.NoEndDate = True BDay.AllDayEvent = True BDay.Subject = Contact.FullName BDay.Save When created directly in outlook, entries start on the birth day and end 24 hours later. Yet trying to set Start and End this way results in errors. Plus, entries created outlook have no start/end time in the recurrence pattern (well, they are all-day entries...) Ideas, anybody? Thanks!

  • ListView adapter data change without ListView being notified

    - by brockoli
    I've written a ListActivity that has a custom list adapter. The list is being updated from a ContentProvider when onCreate is run. I also have a service that gets started when I run the app and it first updates the ContentProvider, then sends a Broadcast that the content has been updated. My ListActivity recieves the broadcast and tries to update my ListView. My problem is, I'm getting intermittent errors about the ListView adapter data changing without the ListView being notified. I call the notifyDataSetChanged() method on my list adapter right after I update it. What it seems like is happening is the list is still in the process of being updated after first call in onCreate when it recieves the broadcast from the service to update, so it tries to update my ListView before it's finished updating from it's first run. Does this make sense? Here is some of my code. NOTE: The service is working properly, it gets new data and updates my ContentProvider, and I do get the broadcast in my activity when it is updated. @Override public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); ctx = this; getPrefs(); setContentView(R.layout.main); // Setup preference listener preferences = PreferenceManager.getDefaultSharedPreferences(this); preferences.registerOnSharedPreferenceChangeListener(listener); // Setup report list adapter ListView nzbLv = (ListView) findViewById(R.id.report_list); nzbla = new NZBReportListAdaptor(ctx); getReports(); nzbla.setListItems(report_list); nzbLv.setAdapter(nzbla); // Broadcast receiver to get notification from NZBService to update ReportList registerReceiver(receiver, new IntentFilter(NZBService.BROADCAST_ACTION)); startService(new Intent(ctx, NZBService.class)); } @Override public void onResume() { super.onResume(); timerHandler.resume(); new updateSabQueue().execute(); //updateList(); } @Override public void onPause() { super.onPause(); timerHandler.pause(); unregisterReceiver(receiver); } private BroadcastReceiver receiver = new BroadcastReceiver() { public void onReceive(Context context, Intent intent) { Toast.makeText(ctx, "NZBService broadcast recieved", Toast.LENGTH_SHORT).show(); updateReportList(); } }; private void updateReportList() { new updateReportList().execute(); } private class updateReportList extends AsyncTask<Void, Void, Boolean> { /* (non-Javadoc) * @see android.os.AsyncTask#onPreExecute() * Show progress dialog */ protected void onPreExecute() { } /* (non-Javadoc) * @see android.os.AsyncTask#doInBackground(Params[]) * Get new articles from the internet */ protected Boolean doInBackground(Void...unused) { getReports(); return true; } /** * On post execute. * Close the progress dialog */ @Override protected void onPostExecute(Boolean updated) { if (updated) { Log.d(TAG, "NZB report list adapter updated"); synchronized(this) { nzbla.setListItems(report_list); } Log.d(TAG, "NZB report list notified of change"); nzbla.notifyDataSetChanged(); } } } Now that this question is answered, I will post my updated code in an effort to help others who might come across it. @Override public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); ctx = this; getPrefs(); setContentView(R.layout.main); // Setup preference listener preferences = PreferenceManager.getDefaultSharedPreferences(this); preferences.registerOnSharedPreferenceChangeListener(listener); // Setup report list adapter ListView nzbLv = (ListView) findViewById(R.id.report_list); nzbla = new NZBReportListAdaptor(ctx); report_list.addAll(getReports()); nzbla.setListItems(report_list); nzbLv.setAdapter(nzbla); // Broadcast receiver to get notification from NZBService to update ReportList registerReceiver(receiver, new IntentFilter(NZBService.BROADCAST_ACTION)); startService(new Intent(ctx, NZBService.class)); } private class updateReportList extends AsyncTask<Void, Void, ArrayList<Report>> { /* (non-Javadoc) * @see android.os.AsyncTask#onPreExecute() * Show progress dialog */ protected void onPreExecute() { } /* (non-Javadoc) * @see android.os.AsyncTask#doInBackground(Params[]) * Get new articles from the internet */ protected ArrayList<Report> doInBackground(Void...unused) { return getReports(); } /** * On post execute. * Close the progress dialog */ @Override protected void onPostExecute(ArrayList<Report> updated) { nzbla.setListItems(updated); nzbla.notifyDataSetChanged(); } } private ArrayList<Report> getReports() { ArrayList<Report> reports = new ArrayList<Report>(); ContentResolver r = getContentResolver(); Cursor c = r.query(NZBReportProvider.CONTENT_URI, null, null, null, NZBReportProvider.ARTICLE_KEY_ROWID + " DESC"); startManagingCursor(c); Log.d(TAG, "NZBReport cursor.getCount=" + c.getCount()); int title = c.getColumnIndex(NZBReportProvider.ARTICLE_KEY_TITLE); int desc = c.getColumnIndex(NZBReportProvider.ARTICLE_KEY_DESCRIPTION); int cat = c.getColumnIndex(NZBReportProvider.ARTICLE_KEY_CAT); int size = c.getColumnIndex(NZBReportProvider.ARTICLE_KEY_SIZE); int link = c.getColumnIndex(NZBReportProvider.ARTICLE_KEY_LINK); int catid = c.getColumnIndex(NZBReportProvider.ARTICLE_KEY_CATID); int date = c.getColumnIndex(NZBReportProvider.ARTICLE_KEY_DATE_ADDED); int group = c.getColumnIndex(NZBReportProvider.ARTICLE_KEY_GROUP); if (c.getCount() > 0) { c.moveToFirst(); do { URL url = null; try { url = new URL(c.getString(link)); } catch (MalformedURLException e) { // TODO Auto-generated catch block e.printStackTrace(); } reports.add(new Report(c.getString(title), url, c.getString(desc), c.getString(cat), c.getString(date), c.getString(size), c.getInt(catid), c.getString(group))); } while (c.moveToNext()); } return reports; }

My windows form application has a grid view control with filename as a default column. User should create a column of following types Text, Number, Currency, Combo Box, Check Box, Radio Button ,Date time type (should display DateTimePicker control) and Hyper Link type. After that i want to pass all rows to next screen for further processing. We can create a column of these types in a grid view but how can i store it in a data table so that i can pass it to next screen. Or should i create a column in a data table and then assign data table to grid view by gridview.DataSource = dt; but can we create a these types of columns in a data table.

  • How to Remove the Last Week Of a Calendar

    - by Nassign
I am not sure why other people have not asked this before. But have you notice that the asp:Calendar shows an extra week at the end? For example if the VisibleMonth is set to 2010-03-01 and FirstDayOfWeek to Sunday: It will show 6 weeks. Feb 28 to March 6 March 7 to March 13 March 14 to March 20 March 21 to March 27 March 28 to April 3 April 4 to April 10 I was wondering why Microsoft shows the last Row which is entirely on April. I tried to search the net for a property but it does not seem to be existing. The only solution that I could think of is to override the Pre_Render and check all individual date if they are still within the week of the VisibleDate. But of course that is an extreme checking since each rendering of the control shows it.

  • Can't get my head arround background workers in c#

    - by Connel
I have wrote an application that syncs two folders together. The problem with the program is that it stops responding whilst copying files. A quick search of stack-overflow told me I need to use something called a background worker. I have read a few pages on the net about this but find it really hard to understand as I'm pretty new to programming. Below is the code for my application - how can I simply put all of the File.Copy(....) commands into their own background worker (if that's even how it works)? Below is the code for the button click event that runs the sub procedure and the sub procedure I wish to use a background worker on all the File.Copy lines. Button event: protected virtual void OnBtnSyncClicked (object sender, System.EventArgs e) { //sets running boolean to true booRunning=true; //sets progress bar to 0 prgProgressBar.Fraction = 0; //resets values used by progressbar dblCurrentStatus = 0; • Is wordpress a good platform for webapp development?

    - by darlinton
I am planning a webapp to control bank paying orders. In a quick review, the user goes online and creates a payment order. This order goes to other people that pays it and register the payment on the system. The system keeps track of all the payments, keeping the account balance up-to-date. The system needs a login system, bank integration, and to support at some point thousands of clients. We can find articles on the web about the benefits of using wordpress platform to build webapps. However, I could not find discussion with counterarguments to user wordpress. As the platform the most important choice in webapp project, I would to know more about the pitfalls and harms for choosing wordpress. The question is: What are the benefits and harms for choosing wordpress as a development platform for a webapp that need to be integrated with other system (backend systems) and to handle thousands of users (does it scale up?)?

  • SQL: How to join a view with a table?

    - by gamerzfuse
CREATE VIEW qtyorderedview AS SELECT titleditors.title_id, titleditors.ed_id, salesdetails.title_id, salesdetails.qty_shipped FROM titleditors, salesdetails WHERE titleditors.title_id = salesdetails.title_id I am using the above SQL statement to create a view. I need to show Editors First Name, Last Name, City where they shipped more than 50 books. The three tables I have are: create table editors ( ed_id char(11), ed_lname varchar(20), ed_fname varchar(20), ed_pos varchar(12), phone varchar(10), address varchar(30), city varchar(20), state char(2), zip char(5), ed_boss char(11)); create table titleditors ( ed_id char(11), title_id char(6), ed_ord integer); create table salesdetails ( sonum integer, qty_ordered integer, qty_shipped integer, title_id char(6), date_shipped date); Can anyone tell me what the second Join code would be to create this result? My first view works fine, but I don't know how to join it to the second table to achieve this result? I didn't make the tables, I just have to work with what I was given. Thanks in advance!

  • Task scheduler ran a task twice

    - by Ross Buggins
Update: This has now happened two days in a row. Update: XML of scheduled tasks and images now included. Two servers located in London, both Windows 2012, have a scheduled task set to run at 3pm Monday to Friday. This has been set up for the last 5 months without a problem. However, on Monday the 28th of August they both ran the scheduled task at 3pm and then again at 4pm. When it was first reported, I thought it was too much of a coincidence to be the day after the clocks had gone back an hour. However, I’m failing in being able to explain why it has happened and if it is related to the clock change at all. The relevant logs from one server (the logs for the other follow this pattern as well): Event 129 15:00:20 Task Scheduler launch task "\3pm", instance "C:\Program Files (x86)\PHP\v5.4\php.exe" with process ID 2388. Event 100 15:00:20 Task Scheduler started "{75a3590f-dec1-4dee-bd27-73d63a50a9d7}" instance of the "\3pm" task for user "x\y". Event 200 15:00:20 Task Scheduler launched action "C:\Program Files (x86)\PHP\v5.4\php.exe" in instance "{75a3590f-dec1-4dee-bd27-73d63a50a9d7}" of task "\3pm". Event 201 15:00:23 Task Scheduler successfully completed task "\3pm" , instance "{75a3590f-dec1-4dee-bd27-73d63a50a9d7}" , action "C:\Program Files (x86)\PHP\v5.4\php.exe" with return code 0. Event 129 16:00:20 Task Scheduler launch task "\3pm", instance "C:\Program Files (x86)\PHP\v5.4\php.exe" with process ID 1224. Event 100 16:00:20 Task Scheduler started "{3dd46ca9-c525-4796-86b5-5e513fd45f26}" instance of the "\3pm" task for user "x\y". Event 201 16:00:23 Task Scheduler successfully completed task "\3pm" , instance "{3dd46ca9-c525-4796-86b5-5e513fd45f26}" , action "C:\Program Files (x86)\PHP\v5.4\php.exe" with return code 0. I've seen this question Scheduled task running twice from time to time which points to a bug at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2461249 being the cause. However, this doesn't include Server 2012 in it's list of problem operating systems. I’m struggling to explain this, can anyone else? The XML export for the scheduled task is: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-16"?> <Task version="1.2" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/windows/2004/02/mit/task"> <RegistrationInfo> <Date>2013-04-16T14:04:17.4897806</Date> <Author>x\y</Author> </RegistrationInfo> <Triggers> <CalendarTrigger> <StartBoundary>2013-04-17T15:00:20</StartBoundary> <Enabled>true</Enabled> <ScheduleByWeek> <DaysOfWeek> <Monday /> <Tuesday /> <Wednesday /> <Thursday /> <Friday /> </DaysOfWeek> <WeeksInterval>1</WeeksInterval> </ScheduleByWeek> </CalendarTrigger> </Triggers> <Principals> <Principal id="Author"> <UserId>x\y</UserId> <LogonType>Password</LogonType> <RunLevel>LeastPrivilege</RunLevel> </Principal> </Principals> <Settings> <MultipleInstancesPolicy>IgnoreNew</MultipleInstancesPolicy> <DisallowStartIfOnBatteries>true</DisallowStartIfOnBatteries> <StopIfGoingOnBatteries>true</StopIfGoingOnBatteries> <AllowHardTerminate>true</AllowHardTerminate> <StartWhenAvailable>false</StartWhenAvailable> <RunOnlyIfNetworkAvailable>false</RunOnlyIfNetworkAvailable> <IdleSettings> <StopOnIdleEnd>true</StopOnIdleEnd> <RestartOnIdle>false</RestartOnIdle> </IdleSettings> <AllowStartOnDemand>true</AllowStartOnDemand> <Enabled>true</Enabled> <Hidden>false</Hidden> <RunOnlyIfIdle>false</RunOnlyIfIdle> <WakeToRun>false</WakeToRun> <ExecutionTimeLimit>P3D</ExecutionTimeLimit> <Priority>7</Priority> </Settings> <Actions Context="Author"> <Exec> <Command>"C:\Program Files (x86)\PHP\v5.4\php.exe"</Command> <Arguments>-f "c:\a.php"</Arguments> </Exec> </Actions> </Task> 29 October 17:00 - Update - Both servers have again run the scheduled task at 15:00 and 16:00. I've now updated the php file that is run by the scheduler to not actually do anything whilst I'm going through trying to solve this. I'm planning on restarting one server to see if this changes anything tomorrow. 30 October 08:25 - Update - When exporting the task XML I remembered that I hadn't included the fact that the scheduled task on second server was created by importing the XML of the task created on the first. The only difference between the two tasks is the path of the php file they are executing and the user account that they are running as.

  • How to check if datetime is older than 20 seconds.

    - by Jelle
Hello! This is my first time here so I hope I post this question at the right place. :) I need to build flood control for my script but I'm not good at all this datetime to time conversions with UTC and stuff. I hope you can help me out. I'm using the Google App Engine with Python. I've got a datetimeproperty at the DataStore database which should be checked if it's older than 20 seconds, then proceed. Could anybody help me out? So in semi-psuedo: q = db.GqlQuery("SELECT * FROM Kudo WHERE fromuser = :1", user) lastplus = q.get() if lastplus.date is older than 20 seconds: print"Go!"
