Hi, where can i download the gnope installer to have the php-gtk2 in my machine ?, according to the online manual, it is found at gnope.org, but I am being redirected to this tradebit website,
How can I force my objects DataContext bindings to update? I'm using an event on a grid, and binding updates are not being processed before my event fires.
Any cheap tricks to get around this?
In the end I can always do things the old manual way of getting the values from my textboxes and updating my object, but it'd be nice to have binding do it for me.
I am trying to create PHP script to get app version from Android APK file.
Extracting xml file from APK (zip) file and then parsing XML is one way, but i guess it should be simpler. Something like PHP Manual, example #3.
Any ideas how to create script?
Hi
Consider the following situation
Code was added to the trunk at revision x
A branch was created
The modifications of rev x were removed from trunk in rev x+10
trunk and branch goes their own ways till rev x+100
Now we need to update the branch with changes form the trunk
The problem with a simple "merge a range of revisions" is that due to step 3, the initial branch modifications are being removed. Is there any way to work around this without resorting to manual merge.

The dust me selectors FireFox plugin identifies unused css selectors. For large css files and many files, the manual deletion of the unused selectors is time consuming. Is there a tool that can automate this?
Hi,
as I know there is an official document for Java (JLS), I'd like to know if it's also the case of PHP language. I found the "Language Reference" section on the PHP manual, but it doesn't look as detailed as the JLS.
The thing is I have a good practical knowledge of PHP but I'm miserably clueless about what REALLY happens under the hood.
If there isn't any official document, could you recommend me some good books to read ?
Thanks in advance !

I have three mysql tables
items
the columns are id, title
items_in_categories
the columns are id, item_id, category_id
categories
the columns are id, title
I want to find all the items that belong to ALL the stated categories. Not any one category, but ALL categories
Eg, if I want to search all the items that belongs to category id 3 and 5
I would like to use as simple a way as possible.
I have tried AND and a nested NOT EXISTS as stated in the mysql manual.
Nothing worked.
I'm running programs from Eclipse (on Windows) that eat a lot of CPU time. To avoid bogging down my whole machine, I set the priority to Low with the Task Manager. However, this is a cumbersome manual process. Is there a way Eclipse can set this priority automatically?
EDIT: I realized that each particular launcher (Java, Python etc) has its own configuration method, so I will restrict this question to the Java domain, which is what I need most.
$extension = “SUBSTRING_INDEX(domain_name, ‘.’, -1)”;
$this->db->order_by($extension, “asc”);
It says:
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘asc LIMIT 50’ at line 44
But its working when I didn’t used the $this-db-order_by Active Record Class
such as this one:
$this-db-query(“SELECT * FROM domain ORDER BY SUBSTRING_INDEX(domain_name, ‘.’, -1)”);
Anyone please help me. Thanks.
I really like the strtotime() function, but the user manual doesn't give a complete description of the supported date formats. strtotime('dd/mm/YYYY') doesn't work, it works only with mm/dd/YYYY format.
if i have date in dd/mm/YYYY format, ho can i convert it to YYYY-mm-dd?
i can do it by using explode() function, but i think tere are better solution.
Thanks
Hi,
I have a CCK datetime field and would like to set its default value to 31 May 2011.
When I go to the configuration of the field I can set the default value to Now, Blank or Relative.
Relative is to be set by a PHP's strtotime argument. However, it fails when I set it to
31 May 2011
last day of May 2011
(that should normally work according to http://php.net/manual/en/function.strtotime.php)
Do You have any idea how to set it to default to 31 May 2011?
I'v searching for a while in php.net and I don't find what I'm searching. I need a function to know the max_upload_filesize from a PHP function.
Here what I need: http://www.php.net/manual/en/ini.core.php#ini.upload-max-filesize
Thanks in advance!
In GTK (or pygtk or gtkmm...)
How can I detect that an application window has been manually resized by the user, as is typically done by dragging the window's edge?
I need to find a way to differentiate manual resizes from resizes that originate from gtk, such as changes in window content.
Along the same lines as this question, I want to call acts_as_reportable inside every model so I can do one-off manual reports in the console in my dev environment (with a dump of the production data).
What's the best way to do this? Putting acts_as_reportable if ENV['RAILS_ENV'] == "development" in every model is getting tedious and isn't very DRY at all. Everyone says monkey patching is the devil, but a mixin seems overkill.
Thanks!
The API defined in the ADL SDK manual reads:
int ADL_Display_ConnectedDisplays_Get(int iAdapterIndex, int* lpConnections)
They say that lpConnections is the pointer to the bit field indicating whether the output connectors on the specified adapter have devices physically attached to them. This information is exactly what I want but nowhere in the documentation I could find any data on what the various bits in the lpConnections obtained might mean. I also tried going through the header files but found nothing relevant on this.
I know this is very specific to but can anyone here answer?
In the example for Zend_Mail on http://framework.zend.com/manual/en/zend.mail.attachments.html they use ENCODING_8BIT but searching for what that might be sends me to http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms526992%28EXCHG.10%29.aspx were (and this sounds logical to me) it is explained that 8bit encoding does not make sense for emails.
I am trying to encrypt a string in php using AES-128 and CBC, but when I call mcrypt_generic_init() it returns false.
$cipher = mcrypt_module_open(MCRYPT_RIJNDAEL_128, '',MCRYPT_MODE_CBC, '');
$iv_size = mcrypt_enc_get_iv_size($cipher);
$iv = mcrypt_create_iv($iv_size, MCRYPT_RAND);
$res = mcrypt_generic_init($cipher, 'aaaa', $iv); //'aaaa' is a test key
Can someone tell me why is returning 0/false? I read the php documentation and seems correct

I've noticed that the brightness of computer monitors drastically varies between computers.
As such, this changes the look of web pages greatly.
Is there a way to use JavaScript to automatically detect how bright (or dark) a users monitor is so that I can adjust my web page colors accordingly?
UPDATE
Please note that I do not want manual user involvement. I want this detection to be automatic so that users don't realize I dynamically change the color palette automatically based on the brightness/darkness of their monitor.
Hi
About the declaration of ISession.
Should we close the Session everytime we use it, or should we keep it open?
I'm asking this because in manual of NHibernate (nhforge.org) they recommend us to declare it once in Application_Start for example, but i don't know if we should close it everytime we use.
Thanks

I'm in a stupid situation: I have done some changes in a working copy of the TRUNK. Since the changes have not been tested, I'd like to transfer all the changes to a branch. According to the manual of Tortoise, Switch will lose all my modifications. Is there any way to keep my changes in the working copy and save them in a branch in the repository.
