My problem is that I need a key to be send back. My table is as below: KEY | NAME ON | ONE TW | TWO So I display the name in combobox by using labelField="name" But how to have the return value of key? so ONE is displayed in the combo-box and ON is returned back.

• Are there any nasty side affects if i lock the HttpContext.Current.Cache.Insert method

  Apart from blocking other threads reading from the cache what other problems should I be thinking about when locking the cache insert method for a public facing website. The actual data retrieval and insert into the cache should take no more than 1 second, which we can live with. More importantly i don't want multiple thread potentially all hitting the Insert method at the same time.   I'm attempting to sum daily purchase amounts for a given user. @dates is an array of 31 dates. I need the find condition to compare a date from the array to the created_at date of the purchases. What I'm doing below compares the exact DateTime for the create_at column. I need it to look at the day itself, not the DateTime.   I'm pretty new to the jsp and struts way of doing things and so far I like what I see. My current question is with the use of the struts select tag. I have a page that displays a number of dropdown boxes using struts select currently the options are hard coded in the jsp. I would like to populate them based on a properties file. However I have no idea where to start. I assume I need to take the contents of a properties file into an Array (of some sort) and assign that to the select tag. My questions are: Where does the code t build the array go? How do I connect that array to the select tag?

These are called from a string array in strings.xml <string name="app_name">Taxi Me</string> <string-array name="taxi_array"> <item>Barrys Taxi</item> <item>Boom Taxi</item> </string-array> What i was trying to do is create subitems for these so that i can show fields such as address and contact details etc. I made a customlistview a while back but cant work out how i can do it using the strings.xml file? I don't know if this is due to my own code or is it a bug in the MacRuby framework.
