• Android - Adding Subitem to a listview

  I currently have a listview which contains a couple of strings. These are called from a string array in strings.xml <string name="app_name">Taxi Me</string> <string-array name="taxi_array"> <item>Barrys Taxi</item> <item>Boom Taxi</item> </string-array> What i was trying to do is create subitems for these so that i can show fields such as address and contact details etc. I made a customlistview a while back but cant work out how i can do it using the strings.xml file? Are there any particular tags i need to use so they show up in the list view? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

  I'm pretty new to the jsp and struts way of doing things and so far I like what I see. My current question is with the use of the struts select tag. I have a page that displays a number of dropdown boxes using struts select currently the options are hard coded in the jsp. I would like to populate them based on a properties file. However I have no idea where to start. I assume I need to take the contents of a properties file into an Array (of some sort) and assign that to the select tag. My questions are: Where does the code t build the array go? How do I connect that array to the select tag?

What is the correct way of manually adding data this way?

My table is as below: KEY | NAME ON | ONE TW | TWO So I display the name in combobox by using labelField="name" But how to have the return value of key? so ONE is displayed in the combo-box and ON is returned back.

  Apart from blocking other threads reading from the cache what other problems should I be thinking about when locking the cache insert method for a public facing website. The actual data retrieval and insert into the cache should take no more than 1 second, which we can live with. More importantly i don't want multiple thread potentially all hitting the Insert method at the same time.   All, I have a problem related to imageView, android. I have array which contains of 10 bitmap objects, called bm. I have a imageView, called im.   Hi, I've encountered an inconsistent bug with MacRuby and have no idea how to go about debugging this. If anyone could help would be great. I don't know if this is due to my own code or is it a bug in the MacRuby framework.   I tried to allocate an array of structs in this way: struct T { int a; int b; } data = Marshal.AllocHGlobal(count*Marshal.SizeOf(typeof(T)); ... I'd like to access to allocated data "binding" a struct to each element in array allocated with AllocHGlobal... something like this T v; v = (T)Marshal.PtrToStructure(data+1, typeof(T)); but i don't find any convenient way... why IntPtr lack of arithmetics? How can I workaround this is a "safe" way? Someone could confirm that PtrToStructure function copy data into the struct variable? In other words, modifing the struct reflect modifications in the structure array data, or not? Definitely, I want to operate on data pointed by an IntPtr using struct, without copying data each time, avoiding unsafe code. Thank all!

• Generating a Grid of NSTextField Objects From NSDictionary Items

  I'm trying to create an vocabulary study application using Obj-C and the Cocoa frameworks. I have about two week's experience in both areas and have reached an edge of my current knowledge. Here's where I'm stuck. When I press a checkbox, a corresponding plist is loaded into memory as an NSDictionary. I want to generate a "Label: Textfield" pair for each key:value pair, where the Label is the key. When the text typed into the Textfield matches the key's value, I want the Label's text to turn green. So how would I generate this grid, and once generated, how would I make the text green upon correct input? Thanks!
