    I am using following text editor for my windows forms application http://www.codeproject.com/KB/edit/editor_in_windows_forms.aspx This works great and a wonderful control, however I am trying to accomplish one task i.e. I wanted to insert a custom tag to the underlying html for eg if user clicks on a button on form I want to insert a tag <myTag>value</myTag>" at the cursor's position of text editor. Can anyone guide me how to achieve this?

    Hi, i'm trying to hide the post titles using this plugin http://mtekk.weblogs.us/code/breadcrumb-navxt/ so i want to show the full breadcrumbs always, except when entering to a post, in there, i just wanna hide the post's title, i find it's code kind'a confusing, i managed to hide the "current page title" but not the "post title" only specifically... anybody with any experience on this?...

    I'm trying to install Valgrind (0.4.0) plugin in Eclipse from technology.linuxtools Update Site (http://download.eclipse.org/technology/linuxtools/update) but I get the following error: Cannot complete the request. See the details. Cannot find a solution satisfying the following requirements org.eclipse.swt [3.4.1.v3449c]. According to "About plugins", my Eclipse has version 3.4.2 installed.   • firefox extension and ie8 plugin compatibility

    hi, im a bit new at extension development, but im about to embark upon a project to build a ffox extension. Does anyone know if its possbile, with minimal adaption, to make a firefox extension compatible with ie8 as a plugin and if so, are there any caveats i should be aware of? I guess its just javascript code wrapped around the ffox or ie8 wrapper, but would really appreciate to learn from someone who has experience. Cheers Ke

I personally can't live without Ack in Project (http://github.com/protocool/ack-tmbundle), the built in search for textmate is awful, ack in project does searches 100x faster. I noticed if I refresh the page, the cookies with these keys added to the browser. but why they can't be added after I logged in facebook at once? I need these keys to create facebook_session. did I forgot something excepted these code I pasted? anybody help? thank you very much!

    Does anyone know of a good WYSIWYG editor for Windows forms. If I use a rich textbox, I need to handle pasting events, bold buttons, fonts etc, which is a nightmare. I’m currently using the HTML control, suggested by many sites, but I have a large form, with many tabs. Since I have to load up to 8 HTML controls, loading the form takes too long. Any help?

The application is in occasional contact with the server. How can I persist this data on the client in a way that is not easily tampered with?

  • WordPress deactivate a plugin via database?

    I have a wordpress script, wp-supercache, that I need to disable (as its cached on a nasty error), however, the error is causing the wp-admin redirect to fail, which means I can't get into the site to disable the plugin. Any advice? I can access the database via cpanel.

    I'm using the fullcalendar jquery plugin, and would like to display 2009 and 2011 in the nextYear and prevYear buttons. For exmaple: 2009 May 2010 2011 I know I can put static text on the buttons like this: buttonText: { prevYear: '2009', nextYear: '2011' }, But I would like those years to change, depending on the year that the calendar is currently viewing. There's documentation about 'year' here: http://arshaw.com/fullcalendar/docs/current_date/ but I don't know how to get that 'year' property. Any examples would be appreciated, Thanks, --Nate

  • Custom Windows Forms Control not exporting functions, not showing in tools list, showing as Text

    Hi, I have written a very simple control. C# Visual Studio 2008. Its output should be, and is a dll. I have added a reference to the dll within the project that I intend to use it with. The msdn article about how to write a control states that it should appear in the 'Add reference / projects' list, which it doesn't but I simply navigated to it under the 'browse' tab, went to the /bin folder and added the reference that way. I dragged it over to my toolbox, but it shows up as a 'Text:xhair_tool' and when i try and add it to a form, it won't, so what have I done wrong? It was created as a 'Windows forms control' project. I have tried removing all add-ons, various version of Java, add the domain to the trusted sites using wildcards, and using compatibility mode to no avail. I am looking to get our Oracle guys to kick there Internet Explorer 6 habit. This is related to Oracle E-Business.
