  • what are best practices on asking user to add the facebook app to their page?

    - by simple
Hello I am looking for a best way to ask/forward user so he/she adds my app to their page one way is to make them follow the link http://www.facebook.com/add.php?api_key=[your application api key]&pages (http://www.facebook.com/add.php?api_key=1fc2946c634702dfc75cce79c97c8cec&pages -real life example) wrapping up the question: as facebook has made a lot of changes maybe the above method is the outdated one(though it is supported), and is there are any more ways to get same result?

  • Doxygen with C# internal access modifier

    - by Mike Gates
I am using Doxygen to generate some API docs for a C# project I am working on. I have quite a bit of "internal" functionality in this project and don't want Doxygen producing these signatures in the generated html it produces. I have tried enabling HIDE_FRIEND_COMPOUNDS but this still results in my internal classes being exposed in the generated documentation. Does anyone know how to do this?

  • examples of good concurrent programs meant to scale

    - by vishr
I am looking for seminal and excellent examples of libraries and projects that emulate the good practices of the Java Concurrency in Practice book. The book is marvelous. However, I think supplementing this book reading with code reviews of projects and libraries that make use of the concurrency APIs effectively is necessary to drive the concepts into the brain. One good example of what I am looking for is https://code.google.com/p/concurrentlinkedhashmap/ Can folks help me with finding exemplary, well written code that use the concurrency api well?

  • Generic DRM (Distributed resource management) wrapper

    - by Pavel Bernshtam
I need to write a software, which launches DRM jobs in a customer environment and monitors those jobs status. It should work with various customer environments and DRMs - like LSF, Sun Grid and others. Can you recommend some 3rd party library, which hides DRM differences from me and has API like "launch job", "get list of jobs", "get job status" etc. ? Both Java and native libraries are good for me.

I'm trying to make an app that links to Google streetview using latitude/longitude coordinates, and shows a streetview of the nearest road. This is coming from a fairly small and well covered area, so there isn't going to be any coordinates in the middle of the ocean. Is there a published API showing the get parameters you need to link directly to streetview?

  • Save all file names in a directory to a vector

    - by Bobby
I need to save all ".xml" file names in a directory to a vector. To make a long story short, I cannot use the dirent API. It seems as if C++ does not have any concept of "directories". Once I have the filenames in a vector, I can iterate through and "fopen" these files. Is there an easy way to get these filenames at runtime?
