    in a large listview control collection (say 5000 items), adding a SINGLE extra item can take 10+ seconds in windows vista/7, and that's just the LVM_INSERTITEM message handling it looks that it only affects LVS_ICON, LVS_REPORT and LVS_LIST are still very fast can anybody confirm this? the same code on windows XP with similar listview window styles adds an extra item instantly thanks nikos

It seems that a cleup and marking the conflict resolved always works, but it's a little concerning to see errors in your version control system when you're just adding/updating/deleting files.     I am using TortoiseSVN and I have a SVN repository organized in this way: folder1 folder2 trunk tag branches folder3 trunk tag branches folder4 folder5 trunk tag branches I would like to know if there is a way to checkout only trunk directories, keeping the entire tree under the versioning control: folder1 folder2 trunk folder3 trunk folder4 folder5 trunk In this way I can update all trunks with a single update command on folder1, without updating tags and branches which can be full of data.

I spent some time researching this since yesterday and finally traced this down to a few posts on several website that use the System.DirectoryServices.DirectoryEntr class. Using the examples I found, I can add or deny IPs or domains under Connection control but not Relay Restrictions. What would be the commands in C# to add IPs to the Relay Restrictions?
