  • jquery: adding class on to list-items only on mouseover-remove on mouse-out?

    hey guys, what's the best way to do that: i have a list <ul> <li>hello</li> <li>good bye</li> <li>arrivederci</li> <li class="selected">dude</li> <li>whatever</li> </ul> Initially one item already has a class of .selected applied. When i hover over one of the list-items i want this one to have the .selected class. So every item should only have the class applied when im over, as soon as i leave the item the class get's removed and the next one has the class.

  • Get address using Geocoder in android

    Hi, I tried to get the address of a particular location by giving static geocordinates. I was not able to fetch the address. Can someone please help. I just need to check whether this function works for me. Here is my snippet. Geocoder geocoder = new Geocoder(AddressSimulator.this, Locale.getDefault()); List<Address> addresses = geocoder.getFromLocation(1.352566007, 103.78921587, 1); System.out.println("Addresses size"+addresses.size()); Address size is obtained as zero. I tried with few other geocordinates also, but address size is always returned as 0. Experts, kindly help me resolve this. Looking forward for your valuable help/suggestions, Best Regards, Rony

Here is online case So I wonder why the hide() after animate() doesn't work?Do I miss something ?

  • <embed> in HTML loaded by Webview Broken in Sense UI

    I have a WebView that loads HTML that contains an <embed>. When loading in stock android (G1, NexusOne, Ion, etc) it looks fine and can be clicked on to watch it in the YouTube app. But when loading it using either the HTC EVO or Incredible (both Sense UI phones ) the space where the content should be is completely blank. Try this code below... Any ideas? I'm stumped. Certainly looks like an HTC Sense bug? WebView wv = (WebView) findViewById(R.id.wv1); wv.getSettings().setJavaScriptEnabled(true); wv.getSettings().setBuiltInZoomControls(true); wv.getSettings().setPluginsEnabled(true); wv.loadData("Here is the test embed: ", "text/html", "UTF-8"); In my testing, this will run fine on all Android versions, without SenseUI, but it shows blank for what looks like any SenseUI phone, so the user can't click on it.

    Is there an easier way to change the order of items in a tkinter listbox than deleting the values for specific key, then re-entering new info? Besides people wanting to see error codes, what is the reason for this? Is it better to use the ** pattern rather than a returned pointer for simpler operations such as: wchar_t* getUnicode( const char* src ) ; Or would this better be written as: void getUnicode( const char* src, wchar_t** dst ) ; The most important thing I can think of is to remember to free it, and the ** way, for some reason, tends to remind me that I have to deallocate it as well.

    This question is in continuation to How to get attributes of container in jquer, I have different containers on my webpage and all of them have <div id = "some values"> now how can I get attributes values separately for each component ? Is there any way I can know which attribute id belong to which container div ? Currently I am using : var id = $( '.promotion' ).attr( 'id' ); But if I have multiple promotional components on page and all have same div attribute as id than how can I relate that this particular attribute id belonged to this specific container ? Update: I am having a function which is called for each container present on the page and so if I am using above mentioned code than will it not always return me the first match for id in the div and would never go to other divs and so I will always get same value for id which is for the first container ? If so than what is the work around for this ? Hope this question is clear.

    I'm trying to figure out the best way to make an image rotate along with a user's finger dragging it left or right. I want to try and match the rate a user's finger is moving with the rate the image is rotating. I've got the basic setup for my application going, with the menus and whatnot I want to have, and that's all running great on the emulator, I'm just not sure how to approach this part. I can code all the logic I need for my app, I'm just not doing to well designing the UI, I have a picture in mind, I've actually made a couple mock images of it, I just can't figure out how to get it going in Android, and any help would be appreciated.
