  Hello, We are planning on building a pay per view (PPV) video solution but we have no idea from where to start. Here are the current givens: it will be hosted on Linux using PHP Database: MySQL And by PPV I mean: - going to website, selecting a movie to watch/download - going to payment portal and paying - being now able to watch/download So here is my question, from where to start? is there an existing (recommended) solution that we can download/buy? • Adobe AIR: problem with OpenID / rpxnow logins

  Does Adobe Air work with OpenID/rpxnow? I'm having a developer build me an AIR app to work with my website so I can have access to desktop photos. However, my site uses OpenID logins via the rpxnow.com implementation. Works fine in the web version, but my developer has told me that he cannot do rpxnow/openid logins from the AIR app because it doesn't allow pop-ups and/or redirects. Has anyone found a workaround? m.

I am wondering what form of authentication would be best for my use? I have heard the if you are just dealing with a websites then a web form is for you (because it's prettier). HTTP header authentication with PHP is said to get clunky/sloppy. htAcess is pretty much the hard core of various authentication methods I have looked up, but is it too much?

  Hi everyone! I'm having problems with putting a favicon on my website! I have this code <link rel="shortcut icon" type="image/ico" href="img/favicon.ico"> And for some reason Firefox shows the favicon fine, but on webkit browsers its not showing up. I tried Google Chrome and Safari on a Mac and its not showing up, do I need to do something for these browsers?
