• Asp.net Ajax SlideShowExtender won't load images on server?

  You can see from the comments on this page that people are having trouble loading images on a server, but they load ok on localhost. Do you have any idea why this would not work? The page and control appear ok otherwise, just no images. Someone must have figured this out by now?

  Hello everyone. Does anyone know how to access webcam native controls such as the zoom, brightness level from the command line interface? How does programs like messenger and skype list those options and are able to control those settings? I am trying to do this to an AIR 2 app and know that we can access NativeProcesses etc now.   There is an attribute "AffectsParentArrange" that implicitly invalidates the parent's layout - but I want to attach an event handler to the "event" triggered by that attribute. When a child property with the attribute changes, the parent's arrangement is invalidated. I have a custom control (which is not the immediate parent) that needs to receive an event. Does anyone know of an event that can be used here? Do I need to provide a custom parent that overrides a method and fires an event?

  Hi I would like to zip a bunch of files (.exe and .dll) before I overwrite them with the new build. Is there a simple way to zip files without using some sort of dll? Just creating a folder with the build number / date time stamp will also work great. How do I pass parameters from the cruise control build process into my Powershell script that will do the work then? Is this a sustainable way to do things? Thanks

  In my Java application I have to custom-paint a control and for that I need to use the same font colors as JButton. (Enabled an disabled) I don't want to to hard-code them, because the user can change the Substance skin at runtime. I'm aware of the ColorSchemes but I'm not sure how to proceed once I have the color scheme of the current skin. Also the Substance documentation says something about creating your own color scheme, but I just can't figure out the way to retrieve a certain color.
